Is this place even still open? I’m going to review it as I remember it in the days of yore(2006)… If I could sum this place up it would be a dirtier Durty Nelly’s. Actually, scratch that, the only Irish attributes this place had were its name and it’s rampant, unabashed alcoholism. We used to go here for drink specials… they were so good that they were probably illegal. Seriously, on Sundays you could get all you can drink ANYTHING(and I do mean anything, this wasn’t a well-only affair) for a paltry 12 bucks. Yes, I said twelve. This place was your best bet to: see hobos, blond kids with dread locks, and people that are way too«punk» for you to even look at them. You could also sit in the patio section and«feed» Gainesville’s homeless horde, good times.

You come here for cheap drinks, convenient locale and whatever local band is featured that night. Don’t expect well made drinks that aren’t watered down or diluted with too much mixer. Stick to the beers and enjoy the music.
