This is my first time going into a Honey Baked Ham store. In the past my experience has been limited to the bone-in hams that you eat for Christmas. I just recently signed up for the Honey Baked Ham club online and received a coupon for a free ham sandwich. I went to this location to claim my free sandwich. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to closing(they closed at 7 and I didn’t know that). The chairs were already on top of the tables and an employee was mopping the floors. I asked if they were still open, since they seemed to be done for the night. They said they were still open is I went in. I presented my coupon and even though the coupon stated that it was for a ham sandwich, I asked if I could swap for the turkey sandwich that costs the same. They were happy to oblige. The sandwich was assembled, wrapped up and placed in a bag with some napkins and a mint. Overall the sandwich was nice, full of meat, and tasty. I’ve never had the turkey from HBH and it was not dry or anything like that. The sandwich had a hint of sweetness and a nice fresh taste. I enjoyed it would definitely go back for another.

This year, my family decided to splurge on a nice ham for Thanksgiving. In the past we didn’t have a good experience with Ham from the grocery store. It was overly salty and not very good. We got a 10 pound ham for about 67 dollars. It sounds like a lot but it was really worth it. Thankfully there was a coupon for 7 dollars off for bone in hams that are 8 lbs or larger. I also like how they open up the ham to show you before you buy it. This can ensure that you know exactly how big your ham is before you buy it. When you bake grocery store ham a lot of water comes out but not with this nice Honey Baked Ham.

Well made sandwiches with quality meats for a fair price. The store is always extremely clean, well staffed and all ingredients are fresh. I always think of this as a ham pickup store and not a café, but a café it is. Plenty of open seating and a television. It’s a basic menu but as hard as it is to get a good sandwich these days, this place excels at the basics.

I’ve been in at least 4 times and the ham is 4 stars, the service is 2 stars. Primarily I go here for delicious ham, but I have purchased delicious sandwiches as well. In thinking back, I’ve only been in the store one time where I wasn’t the only customer — that time, I was the 2nd customer; there was no third customer. My recommendation is that you place your order and go somewhere else for at least 20 minutes. Yes, indeed, it does take them 20 minutes to slice you a pound of ham or make you a sandwich, even when you’re their only customer. Today was no exception except with an additional annoyance. I ordered 1.5 pounds of sliced boneless ham — the price on the very prominent marque said $ 11.99 per pounds. Imagine my surprise to be charged $ 14.99 per pound. No apologies, just a silly explanation that the prices changed LASTWEEK and they hadn’t updated their marque. OK, how about honoring the posted prices, I asked gently. I’m afraid I do not have the authority to do so, says my order handler. Still delicious. Maybe even more so now that it’s gone from moderately pricey to definitely pricey.

My first time here. Got a sandwich combo for $ 6.99. The sandwich was very good – simple and tasty. Service was better than other ‘healthy food’ franchise shops we all know. Inside the store was nothing special but clean and spacious. Two comments to the franchise owner(s):(1) convince your franchisor to find more appealing ‘side dish’ containers. For $ 1.99+tax, your side dish items can look better presented;(2) make sure to remind your customers about the choices of breads, dressings, etc. I was not asked and did not know until after going through the menu that I could have. All that said, I will be a regular at this store.

This place is great. The hams and other meats are excellent, but what you might not know is they make fantastic sandwiches. When rated against Potbelly, Subway, and the other typical sandwich places this place wins every time.

Awesome hidden gem in the walnut shopping center. I was at the Mva for god knows how long and decided to explore a bit. It’s next to the liqour store, nail salon barber shop hr block. The lunch deal 6.99 for a sandwich built your way! I got everything on it black olives, smoked turkey, bacon lettuce tomato cucumber Swiss cheese on a croissant and they couldn’t cut it in half because it was so big! Super slick deal! They sell a lot of home baked ham by the lb, lots of dressing and sauces. I will definitely be back to try more of their lunch specials!

I came here as I wanted something different(out it on Unilocal) and this area doesn’t have many options. I just wanted a sandwhich and it was good but nothing special. This place is more for getting a great honeybaked ham with added sandwich to boost profits. I would come here again if the interest struck me or I want to get a good ham for a great price.
