Spa Plumeria

I went to the grand opening of this new spa with a good friend and loved the beautiful space and lovely atmosphere! I booked a Thai massage and a fm facial before leaving the party that same day. Elizabeth’s massage was so relaxing I found myself almost asleep by the end and the facial was just as relaxing as the wonderful massage. I will be back again as I’ve already booked next months appointment and also loved the scented candle I bought with my other facial products! Awesome spa!

If I could give 10 stars I would! After months of debating whether or not to get my first Brazilian wax; today I finally went through with it — and I couldn’t be happier. Shaniqua was professional, patient, and made the entire experience feel less awkward. In fact, I was so impressed with her service, I booked my follow-​up appointment before walking out the door. Hands down the best waxing experience I’ve ever had, can’t wait to try other services she offers.

Who knew that if you get your eyebrows massage after getting eyebrows waxed would be so relaxing. Spa Plumeria is really nice I will continue to make Shaniqua my go to brow lady. She was very very professional, I will recommend her to anyone that’s looking for eyebrow waxing. Will be back to try her other services. I had a wonderful clarifying facial with Shaniqua today! My skin was super dehydrated beforehand and feels amazing now. She took the time to explain to me all the products she was using since I am new to facials. The face, shoulder, and hand massages were great and really helped me relax after a stressful week. I liked having my hands in the heated pads during the facial. I can’t wait to go back next month!

I have gotten a facial twice at Spa Plumeria: the hydrating facial and the collagen facial. Shaniqua is very professional, she does an excellent job with the whole process: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and masks. She uses the best products, is very knowledgeable, and openly advises how to best manage your skin at home. Great value and amazing service!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Shaniqua. I had been disappointed with the eyebrow waxes that I had been receiving from a nail salon near my house and had been looking for something better. The first time I went to Spa Plumeria the difference in the eyebrow wax was night and day. She is absolutely meticulous and won’t let you leave unless she is happy with the result. I’ve never had someone spend 20 minutes on just my eyebrows, except for her! She then finishes off with an eyebrow massage to tone down the redness that comes along with waxing. My eyebrows have never looked better, honestly. I’m so, so happy that I found her and I will never get my eyebrows waxed by someone else again. If you’re unhappy with your eyebrows currently then please go see her! You won’t regret it.

I have been going to Shaniqua for many years. She is the best at brows and her facials are fabulous. She is extremely professional, friendly and the only person I trust. She now works out of her home and it’s lovely. She is on time and very welcoming. I can’t recommend her enough!

Shaniqua is an expert at her craft. When I get my eyebrows waxed, she goes the extra mile and takes her time to make sure every hair is in place and follows it up with an eyebrow massage… which is amazing! The facials are super pampering and mine came with a heated moisturizing hand treatment. Her prices are very competitive and quite frankly I haven’t found anyone I trust more with the health of my sensitive skin. Thanks Shaniqua!

I absolutely love the services that Spa Plumeria offers. I was apprehensive about getting waxed and Shaniqua was so professional and calming and was so gentle that now I go back once a month religiously. My skin feels amazing and I also feel love the ambiance there, I feel my stress melt away when she’s taking care of me. I highly recommend this place!!!

Read the other 5 star reviews, they aren’t kidding. Shaniqua is awesome, her spa is fantastic, and she really cares about you and giving you what you need and want. She is a total delight. She said she’s been doing this for 12 years and it shows. She lays a hot towel on you so gently that you hardly know it’s there. She massages everything, she even massaged my nose. Do you know how good it feels to have your nose massaged? It’s awesome. The scalp massage is fantastic. You get the «crimson door» experience but you are supporting a local small business instead. Go here, get taken care of, you will not be dissapointed. I will be back. Oh, I got a facial and my first Brazilian. If you’ve ever wanted a Brazilian but have been too chicken, she will walk you through it. It’s not no-​pain, but she keeps the pain to a minimum.

Shaniqua was very gentle and took her time to a lovely brazilian and very polished eyebrows. She is talkative and friendly. The salon is in a house so it looks like you’re in the wrong place, but inside is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I would highly recommend and will come again whenever I’m in MD

SERIOUSLY MY EYBROWS LOOK SO AMAZING I WANNA CRY OF HAPPINESS.
I HAD EYEBROW TINT AND WAX, AND IT WAS GREAT. My eyebrows now have a shape and are a little fuller looking due to the tint. but its very natural you would never know, it just helped out to give them shape and even them out so my eyebrow look more alike. Whenever i’ve done tints before they would do a black of somesort or a combination black and brown because my natural hair is rather dar, but it always came out looking like a marker or just leaving a blue/​grey washed out tint. Here with Shaniqua, I dont even know what she did but you wouldn’t even know I had tint on my brows, I am so happy because I didnt think there was much to do with my brows but she really made them even and with shape.
The Salon is in her home, and in a big room thats clean and spacious, you would never know it wasn’t a spa room. She gets booked really fast, because just as I was leaving her next two clients were already waiting in her little waiting area. She is really great and you can tell because she just presents herself in that way, Her skin is beautiful and her browns are on point, I’m coming next for a facial!

As good as it gets is exactly right! Spa Plumeria is super clean, outstandingly relaxing and Shaniqua was amazing. I came in for my first brazilian wax (I was super nervous). I was placed at ease and really didn’t have a painful experience. My eyebrow wax was exactly what I asked for which is a lot to as as I am super picky! Shaniqua deliverd all that a asked for and more. I schedule my next waxing and a facial as I was leaving because I will be back! Keep up the fantastic work
