First massage here, needed to chill, felt more shaken and agitated than an irritable toddler. In the meditation room, above my head were toddlers+ getting mani and pedi and their precious little faces painted, move it on over.
Their infused water was nice but the sales pitch not needed. Angst sat in when nobody was receiving services but moi. Tip for those who care, do not park your jewels or flip flops in a spa locker, lug it in the room with you.
The intake form odd, must check off a box intimating that you will not be receiving sexual perks during the massage, that is a first in my spa around the world acumen. Had been called once and asked in person if gender mattered to me. A good massage with a dash of reflexology was my request. Asked about other services and they were available without a reservation. Red flags flying.
Eminence products are sold here and the only reason the review receives 1 star. Galvez best spa.

Poor experience! Don’t waste your money or time! Took 2 hours for a pedicure, and the lady got gel all over my fingers. They only have one curing lamp, so several ladies were pissed about waiting for the light. Not at all first class!

I love the San Luis but my experience at their Spa was the worst ever. The messed up our booking and tried to have a male staff member message my under age daughter. When I tried to explain to them she was to get a manicure not a body message the manager tried to excuse their mistake by telling me it must have been my mistake. I will NEVER go to this place again.

My fiancé and I stayed in the hotel and the service for the hotel was amazing. We decided to get massages at the Spa for relaxation.
We both specified we wanted a deep tissue massage. I was scheduled with Shalanda and my fiancé with Jack.
At the time of our massage, the staff was courteous which is the only reason I am not rating them at 1 star.
I requested deep tissue and got the worst massage of my life. I have seriously had better massages from a massage chair. Absolutely terrible. If you get scheduled with Shalanda, save your money and sit in the hot tub. I guarantee it is more relaxing.
My fiancé was scheduled with Jack and thoroughly enjoyed her massage. I wish I had the same experience as she did.
