IHop

We saw the commercial for All you can eat pancakes and had to stroll in there last night.
I am giving this place four stars because it’s just good comfort food and the price is fair. I ordered breakfast at 7PM because it’s IHOP and if you don’t order PANCAKES at the International House of Pancakes you may have walked into the wrong place!
If you’ve eaten at an IHOP in the last 20 years you know what you are going to get when you sit down, and this location is no exception. They have combo meals that give you 100 different selections and you will get something fairly good and at least close to what you order.
By the way, «All you can eat» pancakes for me was 4. Not 4 orders, 4 dozen… 4 PANCAKES.
I guess I’m the guy they don’t loose money on!

I called this location to make a to-​go order and the person that picked up the phone said he was ready to take my order and and after I told him my first order I waited for confirmation of him writing that down he was just silent and all I heard in the background was noise from the kitchen staff. It seems like he just put the phone down and walked away. Called for a response and but no one seemed to be there. I hung up and called back several times but I kept getting a busy line. I called to make an order at 9:15 pm and they close at 10:00. I wonder if they were trying to avoid taking my order…

This IHOP is always crowded. Small waiting area, but plenty of parking. My BF and I have stopped by this location a couple times, but usually ended up leaving and finding another place to eat because the wait is always so long! Finally we came at a good time and there were only 2 parties in front of us.
What we got:
Watermelon Lemonade & Splashberry ($ 3.20): watermelon lemonade was seasonal? But… I didn’t like it that much. It had cubes of watermelon, but not a strong lemonade taste. Splashberry was so much better. It had strawberries, sprite?, and orange juice. Free refills for both!
Strawberry NY Cheesecake Pancake Combo ($ 9.50): comes with hash browns, 2 eggs, and bacon or sausage. Hashbrowns needed to be cooked longer, it was a little bit to limp-​y for me. Eggs were cooked just how I wanted it (sunny-​side up). Bacon was nice and crisp. 2 pancakes with cubes of cheesecake and topped off with strawberries and whipped cream. It was very filling! Strawberries were sweet, but not enough of the cheesecake in my opinion.
Berry Berry Brioche French Toast Combo ($ 10.50): also comes with hash browns, 2 eggs, and bacon or sausage. And it was cooked just like the pancake combo my BF got. As for the french toast, it comes with strawberries and blueberries. Blueberries were not good at all, it was too sour!
Service:
Even though it was busy, it wasn’t that bad. We had a male server, but I forgot his name… he was there to refill our drinks multiple times since we were so thirsty and hungry from the wait for the food…

This is the tiniest IHOP I’ve ever been too lol like seriously it’s hella small here but the parking was enough. Me and my friend went to get breakfast on a Friday morning and it was pretty packed. We waited for about 35 – 45 minutes to be seated. Ok I was already starving by this point and we were greeted by our server (forgot her name) and she was cool and attentive but I docked a star for the fact that our food came out in 40 minutes. The food was good but the wait time to be seated and for food sucks. Never come here if you’re hungry af but if you’re ok with waiting, go right ahead.

Very small ihop so there’s always a wait on the weekends. I don’t know what was here before but it is really the smallest location I have ever seen. With that being said the wait staff seemed to not be able to handle the crowd that was there an repeatedly forgot requests that we made while dining there. I won’t look to return to this ihop location. There’s too many around to go back.

We came in today and waited a few mins to be seated, once they took our order, they brought the tea but forgot the coffee. Took them 20 mins to bring us coffee and the food a lot longer. Service was horrible and we will not be returning.

Today is my birthday and I wanted to have breakfast. The manager sat my husband and I. We saw servers walking back and forth but no one attended us. They attended other people that came in. We waited 12 minutes to see if we get service and we didn’t. We got up and left. I will never go back. Everyone needs to retrained.

Been coming to this specific Ihop for many many years now and its my favorite one in OC. The service is pretty good all the staff is friendly and helpful, their is this one hispanic waitress in particular that is so nice funny and always has my family and I laughing plus her attentiveness to her customers is always on point. We always appreciate her unique funny friendly style that truly gives our experience here a way more positive one hehee:) :) The food usually comes out pretty quick, warm, & delicious yum. Place is clean small but cozy homie feeling which I like. :) Restaurant can get pretty packed depending on the time and day of the week you come in.

the tip is already included in ur bill? really??? i mean im a very good tiper dont get me wrong, im actually a server myself but i been in better places, and honestly having the tip included in ur bill i think its a little weird just saying!!!

Cheapest ihop in town cuz they always manage to tick me off service wise so I save money in a full tip and I try to always tip decent and in cash but never fails! Otherwise food is decent but total coffee Nazis!

This place is great! The food here is always great! Service is good. I just love looking at their menu and not knowing what I want because I want to try everything they have there. They always come up with new pancake, coffee/​lattes favors. You get what you pay for. I love their loaded potato soup, but I always ended up finishing that and not have any room for my meal. With that being said, although, the food taste great, cooked right, I was never able to finish it and always have to take half of it home.

Very friendly place and fast service. Good simple breakfast at a reasonable price. We were seated right away upon arrival. Warm delicious food came to our table in a timely manner. Server was very attentive checking on our table. Will return here again.

Cute little location. I stopped in with my mom to this IHOP on a Sunday afternoon and they seated us almost immediately. I ordered a hot apple cider and I asked for it with whip cream. The server said «that would be kind of weird» and I told him «they do it like that at Starbucks.» Honestly even if it was weird, I feel like you shouldn’t tell a customer your opinion on how you feel about what they are eating. Anyway I ordered brioche French toast with cinnamon roll filling on top and eggs and hash. The food tasted good and so did my apple cider!

excellent service. The food wasgood and it came out quick. Unlimited refills on their iced coffe is a big plus.

This IHOP’s been a staple location since I was a kid (early 1980s). They did a remodel in recent years which made the inside dining areas more cramped and pushed together– like dining in a rail car on a train.
Service is good. It can get awful crowded on weekend mornings. It’s good for me for once or twice a year going.

Great spot for an Adoption celebration Brunch. Came with a family group, and Waitress Adriana did a great job. Very competent, quick witted and fun! This place is a bit small, but parking is plentiful. And there’s a hand car wash next door If you want to eat while your car is cleaned!
Well recommended, with 5 stars.

This IHOP exceeds expectations.
They are very friendly.
The food is way tastier that it seems it should be.
The hostess, waitress and busser were all kind and friendly.
It is clean and modern!

Came here on a Friday night, because I was craving breakfast for dinner (crazy, right?) We were basically the only ones in the restaurant.
In fact it was a crazy experience. While eating my pancakes, I was unexpectedly accompanied by a baby cockroach that was lingering quite close to me. Unnecessary company… I should add.
I quickly complained to one of the waitresses and let her know that her restaurant was inhabiting these pest (s). Out of respect, she asked me if we wanted to move tables, but I was way too hungry to bother. Instead, I asked her to just get rid of it. It was a struggle for her to reach for the tray that was holding the syrups, so I volunteered to help.
If I wasn’t so preoccupied by my empty stomach and my «happy-because-it’s-Friday» state, I would have been less lenient about this situation.

Great breakfast items to fulfill your morning hunger with waffles, Pancakes, Omelette’s, crepes and so much more!
Rooty tooty fresh n fruity– eggs, pork sausages, bacon strips & pancakes-​Although I am not a huge fan of this menu item as the pork sausages seem like they were just out of the freezer.
The classic dinner items are Tilapia florentine (⁴⁄₅), Fish N Chips (⁴⁄₅), Fried chicken dinner (3/​5-​The chicken was dry), pasta dinner (3/​5-​Not the best pasta)
Tip: Join their email club and receive free B’day items, coupons and information on promotions.
Also kids eat free at this location everyday after 2 pm (check with your local IHop for exact timings etc).
