It was our first time today. We let the cashier know it was our first time, and she gave us suggestions and explained how everything worked. She was also very friendly! We ordered a half and half, which is awesome that they let you order that way. We ordered #4(meat lovers) and #5(bbq kalua pork). Overall, we loved it! I personally thought there was a little too much cheese in the meat pizza, but that’s my preference. We will be back to try more items. Glad to have found a new local spot!

Food is solid, I would give it 4 star solely because of the unique Hawaiian style pizza which can’t be found in too many places in SoCal. I would say the service is a little slow which I would rate about 2 stars due to the fact that everyone’s demeanor is pretty laxed. With an open kitchen it is easy to see when things are made. It was a bit confusing as to why my pizza came out 30 minutes before an order of 8wings were ordered. This is with us calling ahead to order. I didn’t understand why they weren’t put in at the same time.

First time since I heard about them on 186th street school. Very friendly staff A+++ very welcoming and the menu off the charts. The bubbies are a most specially the mango. The Hawaiian pizza OMG. Didn’t finish the pizza no problem you don’t have to ask for a to-go-plate like other places all plates and condiments are next to a lemonade. I was very satisfied and my expectations were met. Btw they do have tvs for sports and music. I wish they had more plants and the parking a bit more larger but the customer satisfaction was their. Awesome place to hang out

I’m not particularly big on pizza even though I’m from New York, but sometimes you just get a craving. My selection(s): 808 Wings, Classic Hawaiian, Ikaika Pie, Uncles Kalua Pie. Setting(4⁄5): A very clean and nice atmosphere to dine in. Good amount of space with tables to seat multiple guests. Service(3⁄5): The service was good, they were attentive and polite. Taste(4⁄5): Like I said sometimes you just get that pizza craving. It’s good, but the first time I had it I was a bit surprised because the crust was so different from pizzas that I’ve eaten in the past. It’s a lot. How would I describe, fluffier? Doesn’t really have that much of a bite to it, on the chewier side I suppose. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, just different. I enjoyed all 3 of the ones I tried equally, but if I had to choose it would probably be a toss up between Hawaiian or Kalua’s. Time(3⁄5): Definitely a spot to sit down and take your time. Even if you order to go making a pizza takes a while so that doesn’t really change anything. Price($$): It’s not too bad, good price in my opinion for the amount of food you get. Worth revisiting?: Yes.

Pizza is BOMB!!! The shaved ice is delicious. On the other hand the little ice cream is not worth it it’s pretty much a tsp of ice cream

Me and the bf were headed on a double date with a couple we didn’t know well and they recommended we switch from Rush Street to Alpha Pizza and Shaved Ice. We went to Hawaii last year and the food was meh, so I must admit, I wasn’t enthused. But I went anyway to be polite. My Gawd. What a place. I can easily say this is the best pizza I have ever had in my life. We had a Big Kahuna, the wings for my gluten free 2nd and a large shaved ice — all delectable. The pizza arrived piping hot, succulent, and the crust was perfectly crispy/chewy. I kept interrupting our relatively serious convo to say«This pizza is good… Ok back to the Middle East crisis my bad.» So good. The service was great also. They brought us our shaved ice after the pizza, just at the right time. I feel I am not doing the pizza justice with my words, so I’ll just say this in a way Angelenos can appreciate: it is worth sitting through an hour of 405 traffic for. Get it now? Now you know I am serious. I have already planned a return within the month.

My boyfriend just bought for dinner the kamehameha and cheese pizza and it was just blah Nothing great to be honest The green salad was huge and the house dressing was blah as well However the best part of it was the mochi ice cream from bubbies!!!

Cute little place. The pizza was delicious and very cheesy! I got the number #1 it has sausage pepperoni bell pepper onions tomatoes and olives. The workers here are nice. They deliver your pizza to your table. Overall it’s a nice place to have lunch with family and friends. It’s clean and totally gives you a Hawaiian vibe. Will be coming back again!

We ordered a Ham/Pineapple and a Meat lover type(sorry, ate a few days ago and forgot the names). The Good — A Large actually is large, generous toppings on the meat lover, crust is fresh, taste is alright. The Bleh — pretty pricey(but you’re paying for quality), crust was a bit too thick for my taste.

I was very impressed with aloha pizza. I went into the store becus I said I was gonna finally try it and u fell in love with this place. The dining area is pretty big and the have several tv’s for you to watch the game. They seem to keep it up becus I didn’t see any dirty tables nor any trash on the floor. I ordered a 16″ number 4 pizza which is a meat lovers. The pizza has like 10 big slices and is stacked with about 4 – 5 different kinds of meat. I didn’t really realize how big the 16″ was. It’s big like the Costco pizzas but tastes way better. Realistically you can feed 4 – 5 people with that thing. Not only do they have pizza, they have sandwiches, shaved ice and other treats. So far my experience here will definitely bring me.

Cute pizza spot located in a busy food plaza but definitely easy to get too and find parking. The ambience of this place screams Hawaii and all of the items are perfectly themed for the setting. Don’t come here expecting to get a typical pizza, instead be open-minded and try a pie adorned in garlic shrimp, with onions and a delicious white sauce covered in mozzarella. Then grab some flavor filled hot and savory buffalo wings. The hottest wings on the menu interested me the most and once I tasted them I experience some good wings. Unlike typical places, the wings here actually have a unique sauce that is spicy and creamy at the same time. There’s an array of flavors in pizzas and wings. There’s also tons of shaved ice options for dessert lovers. They offer salads but nothing spectacular in that area. Good place to try for foodies.

I was craving pizza one night and since this place had good ratings, I thought I’d check it out. I’m not really quite sure how they have such a high rating though, because I thought their pizza was average at best. I ordered a pizza with kalua pork, bacon, and onion … but for some reason they decided to add some extra toppings(bbq sauce and cilantro). To be honest, I am not really a fan of bbq sauce in general and having it all over my pizza(and trust me, they were generous with how much sauce they put on there), just overwhelmed the taste. The crust was also very bland and flavorless. That, combined with the high price … yeah, I definitely think there are much better places out there when you’re craving pizza.

When looking for great pizza your search has come to an end. I’ve looked endlessly for a great pizza and this place grabbed my attention. There are 12 great pizzas to choose from with each one being unique in its own way. Amongst the 5 pizzas I’ve tried, the uncle Kalua pie is amazing! 10⁄10 — Uncle’s Kalua Pie. This pizza is quite simple toppings wise. The combination of flavors make my taste buds wanting more. The combination of Kalua pork, mango, cilantro, BBQ sauce, and a few other ingredients is amazing. The thought of mango made me think twice only to realize that it was unique and packed with flavor. I highly recommend this pie and save room for dessert! Tip: The 12″ pie is suitable for 2 people and the 18″ for 3 – 4 people.

This is a cool little pizza place in a good location that is next to a Honey Boba and a Sushi joint. Tried their Uncle Kalua and Kamehamea and both were excellent. Crust is similar to a pizza hut but high quality of course. This is a substantial pizza for LA standards. None of the CPK crust here. This is a real pie we are talking about here. Pizza is always cooked well and piping hot. They also sell ice cream from Hawaii and other little treats from Hawaii. It is a really cool place for Pizza and is different than any other pie joint around. Save room for dessert and/or Honey Boba. Can’t beat this place!

We have driven by many times wanting to try this place out. We love pizza! This restaurant is in the back corner of the eateries. The parking is generally hit and miss depending on the crowds. With all the businesses, I think they could use a few more parking spots, but there isn’t any room for more. The interior is decorated with the Aloha theme. On one wall, there are a lot of Hawaiian words.( ) The menu boards have lots of tropical images on the screen.( ) We ordered one 12″ pizza with half Da Big Kahuna & half with Uncle’s Kalua Pie.( ) Uncle’s Kalua Pie says«Onolicious» next to it, and it was! This pizza has BBQ Sauce, Kalua Pork, red onion, fresh cilantro, and fresh mango. Da Big Kahuna says«Broke Da’ Mouth», I have to agree since it has so many toppings! It is full of cheese, garlic chicken, Portuguese Sausage, jalapenos, fresh garlic, onions, olives, green peppers, mushrooms, and then is drizzled with hot sauce. It wasn’t hot, in my opinion. Although we didn’t try these, they do serve salads, Hawaiian canned drinks, shaved ice & ice cream.( ) I would love to try their shaved ice next time!

When I eat pizza, I only get pepperoni, cheese, easy sauce on very thin crust and well done. I can’t imagine getting it any other way. Till one day when my family and I were in the Torrance area and we came across Aloha Pizza & Shave Ice Company. What a great little place, I love the décor and the employees are so friendly. We ordered the following: Kileaua Winga($ 7.75): Extra hot wings but we got the sauce on the side and the sauce was definitely hot. Good size wings, lots of meat. Fresh Garden Green Salad($ 7.75): with Aloha’s house dressing. It tasted like sweet maui onion dressing. Large Da’ Pele($ 19): it had Pepperoni, Portuguese Sausage, Bacon, Jalapenos and Pineapple. Everything went delicious together!!! I loved it!!! Large Ikaika($ 20): it had pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, Portuguese sausage and bacon. This was definitely a meat lover’s pizza to the 10th degree. It was good but very heavy. Chocolate coconut, Chocolate and Strawberry Mochi: it was yummy :) :) If I’m in the area again, I’ll go back :) :)

Hawaiian fusion seems to be very popular nowadays. Many of the so-called Hawaiian fusion restaurants use a smattering of Hawaiian ingredients, incorporate Hawaiian words in the menu, and call it «Hawaiian.» Aloha Pizza falls into that category. Funny thing is, it’s actually more Californian than Hawaiian. We ordered the Hapa Haole and Da Big Kahuna to go. Unfortunately I didn’t realize they had 2 different types of crusts, original and thin. Usually I prefer thin crust. While the original was not overly thick, for me it was a bit heavy. Next time I’ll definitely get thin crust. Da Big Kahuna was definitely better than the Hapa Haole. Da Big Kahuna had loads of veggies, different meats, and a spicy, sweet sauce; a virtual luau(Hawaiian feast) in my mouth. The Hapa Haole sounded good because of the shrimp and garlic. But next to Da Big Kahuna it was just so-so. Overall, the pizzas were ok. I did enjoy having Portuguese sausage on my pizza and might get Da Big Kahuna again if in the area. But this is just not someplace I’d drive out of my way for just to have pizza.

This review is only for their shaved ice. My friend and I shared the Sherri’s special $ 5.95. It had vanilla Ice cream topped with the strawberry flavored ice and strawberries + mangoes. The shaved ice was good but I felt like it was nothing special. There were not enough mangoes. It was pretty much all strawberries. However, I do like their Mochi because it wasn’t too sweet and it wasn’t hard to chew even though it has been sitting on the cold for long. Maybe next time I’ll try ordering their pizzas.
