L A Express Cafe

This place is amazing!!! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I got the Coach’s Pick Melt and swapped the turkey with tuna and it was an unforgettable meal! I will definitely be coming back here! Recommended for anyone who has a big appetite for deliciousness.

I work in this building and I have had the pleasure of interacting with John and Linda who runs the café. They’re friendly and provide excellent customer service. I have had very few issues with them.
Now on to the food. Most of the food is made to order. I normally order their garden burgers and they allow me to opt for wheat bread and soup instead of the bun and fries. Ive had their tuna as well and it was quite delicious. I love their cream of broccoli and veggie tortilla soup. They never disappoint me. I’ve had their chili a few times before and I like the fact that they always ask if I want cheese and/​or rice in the bowl. Great service, great food, great place for me to take my lunch and breaks!

I’ve worked within walking distance of this place since the beginning of the year and I never knew about it until I (…wait. for… it…) Unilocaled for food within walking distance of my work… remarkable!
The service is very friendly and fast, (at least when i came it was and it is the LA «Express» Café after all!) I came for lunch a little before 2PM I think, or maybe it was a little after.
They have so many choices for lunch and for breakfast too, plus a variety of snacks and beverages, etc.
I ordered a turkey burger, it came with fries which were good.
The prices are really reasonable, after adding bacon to my burger, (bacon costs $ 1.50 but is worth it, cause. its. BACON!) i think my total was around $ 7.50.
The bacon is actually real bacon you would cook at home, not the thin, paper bacon that makes it feels like you’re eating greasy air.
The turkey burger looked different than i expected/​didnt look grilled, but it was very thick/​filling and tasted good enough, though I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much without the bacon, pretty much anything is better with bacon though, am i right?
They don’t have a menu online, but I’m going to take some pictures of it for you so it will be now! Yay for me!!!
***I just realized I’m supposed to make turkey burgers for dinner tonight, noooooooo, oh well, i’ll just make the burgers for everyone else and eat a salad to make up for the bacon and fries i just ate***
Update********I think they close early on friday, but not sure, so call first /​/​/​THEY ARE CASH ONLY!!!

I’m one of the fortunate ones who works in the building (U. of Phoenix and Ceridian used to be in here) John & Linda are great. Great service, fast, and consistently good! See my pics!

This is a nice little café. Great food, great service and great prices! Can’t beat that!

This is quite a nice little place ! Tucked away in the Toyota /​Ceridian office plaza. It’s a great café that offers up quick and tasty fare. Sandwiches & Salads. Burgers, Soups and some excellent Chili too ! I work in the building and for people with limited lunch /​dinner time it fills the bill just fine. They have fountain Sodas as well as Coffee drinks as well… Cool place !
