I used to come to this place while I was working for freight forwarding company. The taste is still good and never changed.

yum, yum, yum, and yum! we ordered a group package for 4 – 6 adults(?) and lets just say we were eating for 1.5 hours straight! I even had to unbutton my pants just so that I can eat more! The fish is FRESH and the service was terrific. To top it off, they brought out maewoontang at the end with nuroonji! SOOOOOOOO good! I can’t wait to go back! AHHHH, i’m salivating just thinking about this place!

Update: Plus one star for the sushi! Bluefin Tuna baby! Not cheap though… Good: Sushi. Large cuts of fish with small soft rice. The tuna and yellow tail nigiri’s were fresh and flavorful with generous cuts. I can eat this everyday. Prices are $ 5 to $ 7 for two pieces. The menu specifically listed Bluefin tuna which I appreciate(these are $ 7 for 2pcs but very worth it to me). Consistent quality and size among different nigiri’s. Someone here knows how to do sushi very well. The pickled scallions(a.k.a. Rakkyo in Japanese) that came with sushi were very good. I don’t normally eat this item, free or not, but these were so good I ate it all, crunchy without that strong overwhelming taste and without the fibers. Courteous service, clean and bright atmosphere. So so: Teriyaki Beef was ok but the sauce was sweeter than I’d like(Basic sauce but not too bad). Tender beef. Very decent side dishes(radish and bean sprouts were crunchy and fresh) but lacks variety. Not Good: Tempura I was disappointed in. The batter was chewy and this is nice but got in the way of the flavor of the shrimps and vegetables, felt I was eating fried batter instead with shrimp flavor(small thin shrimps). The yam tempura was dry and flavorless. Someone here doesn’t know how to do tempura.

It is pricey as Paul said. for sushi & sashimi, I paid $ 80 for 2 people. I guess it used to be an all-you-can-eat place. It is NOT anymore. go ahead enjoy your Korean made Japanese food. Food itself was not exceptional but nice.

Well, it’s not exactly a pure Japanese sushi place. It’s owned and operated by Koreans… Still good food but a bit pricey. I think lunch box or combo is a good deal rather than dinner. There is a house special around $ 15 and you get to eat a LOT… that’s my belly filler when I’m hungry and craving for seafood.
