This has become one of my favorite spots when I want some breakfast food indulgence! The food is superb, and every time i’ve come in the service is excellent!

The Pancake factory is one of or if not the best dinner style reastaurant to come and enjoy yourself. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and even when your cravings are active, you can find it all. The ambient feel of the place brings a home and welcoming feeling. You feel like its a Sunday morning and you are ready to dig in with your family. The staff are very friendly, very attentive and welcoming to your experience. There is virtually no waving or calling for service. Some how with out any gesture whatsoever, they pop up to cater to you. The food is amazing. The taste is uncanning. Words are not enough to describe the taste or elaborate on the long list of special dishes. You just have to come and try it.

My girl was craving for pancakes so I took her to Pancake Factory. Figured you can’t go wrong with four stars on Unilocal :) So many good choices on the menu… so hard to decide… I want to try the pancakes because it’s what they specialize in but the crepes look so delish. Haha finally decided to get the florentine chicken crepes and just gonna munch on my girls pancakes. She ordered hotlinks combo with blueberry pancakes. We also ordered the hot chocolate and vanilla shake. Everything was good!!! Much much better then Ihop(reason why I mentioned Ihop is the whole set up inside reminds me of ihop… all the way to the syrups on the side) the pancakes were perfect :) def coming back for more!!! Wanted to mention about the great service we received!!! So accommodating and very homely feel!!! Love it!

Our server Rickie was fantastic. He provided excellent customer service. He made sure we had plenty of coffee, creamer, and kept us updated on when the food would be ready. My husband and I had the chocolate chip and blue berry pancakes. Best pancakes we have ever had! The weekend is very busy! I suggest you go on a week day

I’ve wanted to try this place out forever. Today after realizing we didn’t have have any food to eat, I told the family I’d order takeout. WE looked at the Unilocal pics and the wife and decided on The Factory Omlette. After paying for my meal the cashier advises me they have no more to go syrup, and asked is that ok? My reply, what am I supposed to eat my pancakes with? She then gets the idea to fill a to go container with syrup. I get home and the pancakes are delicious! Open up the omlette and we are like wtf! The shredded beef was so dry, I’ve had juicier beef jerkey. The egg are over cooked to the 10th power. This would have to be the worst omlette I’ve ever had. At $ 24 for the 2 of us, probably the most expensive barely edible food also. All in all pancakes were good omlette was gross probably won’t be back.

First time here and it’s all good!!! I dined alone this morning. After caring for sick twin boys, this tired mama can appreciate a hot meal alone and with no distractions. I was told to seat myself, and I found a cozy seat by the window. I happened to choose the window where the sun was hitting, so it was a bit toasty. I was served coffee right away and my awesome server, Mr. Ricardo, told me he’d be right with me. I looked over the menu and decided on the German Crepes, with breakfast potatoes, over medium eggs, and bacon and sausage. I was served right away(perks of dining alone?), and everything looked and tasted great! I really wanted to try the blueberry pancakes, but the lighter crepes really caught my eye-ppetite. ;-) I loved the fresh lemon squeezed over the slightly sweet crepes. It came in a serving of four crepes. I was barely able to finish two. Guess they weren’t as light as I thought! Lol! The bacon was perfectly crisp as were the breakfast potatoes. My eggs had the right amount of runny-ness, and the sausage needed a little extra push of the knife to get through the casing. Overall, a really yummy breakfast with hot coffee, and a nice bonus was the awesome service. My server, Mr. Ricardo, was very prompt and personable. He tended to his tables very quickly and was always very friendly. He stopped me as I was walking to my van to thank me for the tip. Not sure if you heard me, but you’re very welcome! :-) Parking seems ample, seating can get pretty tight, and the place stays pretty busy!

Been here a few times and the service is always okay, the food is good there’s french toast, pancakes, and crepes which you can upgrade into a combo to add eggs, meat, and hashbrows. The menu is good, I’d recommend trying this place out. The place is very small, weekend mornings there’s usually a wait. It’s next to El Camino College and ElCo students get 10% off.

This place was very average. I took the bf here for a bday breakfast and the area it is located is slightly in a rundown part of the neighborhood. Bf ordered the sirloin tip steak w/eggs and he said the steak was pretty chewy and hard to swallow but he still ate it haha. I ordered the strawberry banana pancakes and they were very average, tasted like something I could get at ihops or dennys. Overall very average experience. Also the ladies restroom was terrible. There were only two stalls, one was out of toilet paper and the other had been clogged by someone’s #2.

Decided to try this place after my hubby & kids gave it the thumbs up. Restaurant is a typical American diner like IHOP or Denny’s. We ordered the bacon scramble, which is basically scrambled eggs with onions, bacon and cheeses on a bed of potatoes. Also ordered the Factory Omelet, pancakes and blueberry pancakes. The omelet was delicious and loaded with tender meats. The pancakes are flavorful with 4 different syrup flavors to choose from. Service was adequate. I would definitely come back again.

It’s a kinda small place, that the setup reminds me of ihop. We went there when they just opened. And the first thing I noticed is the smell of the food bi am very picky with me smelling like food so I really didn’t like that part of the restaurant. Maybe add more exhaust or cover for the kitchen. Ordered sirloin steak tips breakfast and it was really good. Not a fan of sweet meat but this one won me. I actually finished it. I love that it comes with potatoes and not hash brown, you can substitute it I think. My husband ordered the farm fresh omelette and he said it was good but overkilled. There’s so much ingredients that he cannot see the egg anymore. He said that their pancakes were really good too. I didn’t get to try them since I got too full from the steak.

The Pancake Factory did not disappoint on my first visit. We ended up here based on what I’ve bookmarked in the area.(We actually came from our third attempt to dine at The Pan which they told us the wait would be 45 – 60 mins). The wait here was not ridiculous which was about 10 – 15 mins. The seats are a little tight inside but luckily we didn’t sit close to too many people. I can see how this would be a problem for some folks. The prices are just right. My 2 egg combo with turkey sausages, turkey bacon, potatoes and Swedish Crepes for $ 8.99 was a steal. I remember having to pay the same price for a slice of waffle at the Original Pancake House in Redondo. My boyfriend ordered the T-Bone steak breakfast with hash browns, 2 sunny side up eggs and buttermilk pancakes for $ 10.99. The coffee was good. Service was excellent. Can’t really complain. *RECOMMENDED*

Wow, after bragging to my friend about this place, we decided to come this morning at 8AM for breakfast. I got there before her, and they was already a wait. I put my name in and sat outside. They called us in about 20 mins later. The place was packed, so I expected the food to be great once again. Not today. They must have changed cooks, my omelette was dry, tasteless and thrown together, with a shit load of broccoli, which I took out. The potatoes were good like last time. We had the same great waiter I had last time I came. My friend liked her food, and so did her child. I have to say all the customer service is great! Coffee is good as well. I would not order the omelette again, but may try something else.

Came here on a Friday around 11am. Surprisingly it was packed. Luckily we didn’t have to wait, but we were sat at a very small table at the very back. Felt extremely crapped and just way too close to other people. I think that’s the #1 main reason I’m only giving 3 stars. The lay out is terrible. Every single table and booth is crammed up against another one. And nobody wants to sit with a 2 feet of a table they don’t know. What they do have going for them is their service and food. As well as price. It’s very affordable. Our server was very attentive and everything came out at a reasonable time. I ordered their French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. My total with tax was $ 8 something and some change. Not bad. My friend had the bacon scrambler and pancakes, she said her food was great! I would probably come back here, but depends on how crowded it is I suppose!

Me and my coworkers have tried this place multiple times and it never disappoints us! The sourdough bacon burger is super juicy and it cooked well done. The bacon adds a nice crunch and it comes with melted cheddar cheese. Their seasoned fries are also super delicious and just the right amount of crisp to them. Their omelettes are really good and also their loaded hashbrowns! I don’t think me or my coworkers have ever ordered anything that we didn’t love and devour.

Sal was great! A very kind server who was extremely attentive. The pancakes were delicious! I couldn’t make the trip over to the pancake house in Redondo and was willing to try a new spot that was closer. Turns out this cozy little restaurant was just what the doctor ordered. The omelette was filled with veggies and the bacon was normal and not thinly cut like you find at Denny’s and the likes. Fluffy pancakes with different flavored syrups at your disposal. It was all a very tasty and satisfying experience. 4 out of 5 stars because my water glass had something stuck to the inside of it when it first came, Sal quickly brought me back a new clean one though, no problems after that. Everyone here is very friendly, but in a genuine kind of way that gives it a really warm vibe. Kids eat free after 4 btw.

I was visiting LA to attend a wedding and, of course, eating was my primary objective during this trip. To anyone that knows me, I love breakfast… but I looooooove pancakes. It’s places like this that further ingrain that unconditional feeling. Fortunately, The Pancake Factory was close to where I was staying and decided to stop in for some morning grub. There’s an outdoor dining area and it’s California… so duh. Our server was super friendly suggesting(up-selling) various items like the homemade muffins. With my affinity for all things breakfast, it wasn’t a hard sell. And the muffins are, in fact, amazing. The Combos are the best bang-for-buck(obviously). You choose from a plethora of options AND every plate comes with pancakes. You can’t lose. Of the many delectable items, I chose the Country Fried Steak. I seldom get it(mostly on «vacation» weekends) as it’s one of the«bad for your body, great for your soul» type foods. I ordered Blueberry Pancakes as my pancake option. If the muffin was any indication, the rest of the breakfast was going to be food-coma awesome… and it was indeed. The Country Fried Steak was excellent, not too breaded and the gravy was definitely made in-house and wasn’t gelatinous like a lot of places tend to be. The eggs were perfect with a runny yolk. The hash brown had a beautiful golden brown color to them. But the pancakes. Wow. This place certainly lives up to its namesake. The pancakes were super fluffy and moist then topped with an incredible blueberry compote and topped with homemade whipped cream. The pancakes were so good that I nearly forgot about the country fried steak. Overall, the service was outstanding and the food hit on all cylinders. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in LA, but I’ll definitely keep this place in mind when I do manage to plan a trip back.

After a leg routine at the gym, and after juggling many crosstown errands, I was in need of a good meal. I chose to try this place out, since I’ve passed by it countless times since it came under new ownership. The place used to be an IHOP, but is no The Pancake Factory. The layout is still the same, the building color and menu options are a bit different. I came in during a busy period, and I was seated at a booth. It took about five minutes for the waitress to get my order, and I received my coffee promptly thereafter. The food took about ten minutes to get to me, which is great considering how busy it was. I ordered the steak and eggs, with diced potatoes. The steak I ordered medium, and tasted exactly as expected. The eggs were scrambled and done well. The potatoes were very tasty. The coffee was very smooth, although I did add whole milk to it. The water tasted like… clean water. The crows was a mix of different people: families getting brunch en route to some event, couples getting late breakfast/early lunch, students from El Camino College, and others. No shady characters found here. The staff worked well at high tempo, and held a cool attitude in spite of having many things to juggle at once. They were professional, helpful, and prompt in their service. A great experience, I will be coming back periodically.

Based on the interior of this one pace you wouldn’t expect much but the food and service were top notch! We were cordially greeted and sat immediately. The server made great suggestions when we asked questions and he wasn’t pushy at all. I got crepes with my 2 egg combo and they were perfectly prepared. My husband enjoyed his steak and eggs. You have to try their fluffy buttermilk pancakes! Most combos offer pancakes or crepes with them, and the prices aren’t too shabby. I’d recommend the Swedish crepes.

Not bad but the wait is crazy on the weekends!!! Parking isn’t bad but if it’s busy park on the street. Food! We ordered: –Country fried steak with gravy, eggs and hashborwn. Not bad but had better! –big slam was just a original breakfast with pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs and hashborwn. It’s good. –chocolate pancake was probably the best out of all the dishes!(Came with my country fried steak) –kids crispy chicken strip is ok –croissant turkey sandwich with fries not bad. Everything was OK. But the one that bugged us was that the one that doesn’t need cooking or frying was the croissant and that took forever to get. GUS was cool and friendly. Got my humor and was very apologetic towards the croissant. Place looks like a IHOP turned into Pancake Factory! Bathroom is clean! But the whack part is I saw a parent change her kid on the floor! This place is a family style they NEED changing tables for us parents. I felt so bad for the boy. They have room to put that changing table in there.
