I wanted to be more pleased but… Let’s start with the fact that they are less than 2 miles from me. I drove there, ordered a «giant» cheeseburger no lettuce no tomato in the drive-thru and came straight back home. I hadn’t eaten much today so I was looking forward to this big, juicy cheeseburger. So much so, I didn’t even take it upstairs. I wanted to chow down right there in the parking lot. Well, what I brought home was utter disappointment. The burger was ice cold, covered in lettuce, and not exactly giant. Now considering I sat in that drive through almost as long as I wait at Starbucks(and longer than the drive there or back), I expected this to be made to order, and fresh. I MAY give them another shot, but I can walk to McDonald’s for that kind of experience.

Best fast food burger around and they have TOTS!!! Seasoned just right. So many of these places try so much seasoning, Burger House. I don’t live on this side of town but when I am I certainly make a trip to Griffs. They also have crushed sonic type ice– awesome. Fun fact — my Dad worked at Griffs as a kid in the original Griffs in Wichita KS. I still have his uniform from back in the 60’s. Enjoy the burgers and tots!

Typical fast food burger, nothing stood out from this place. The food reminded me of sonic. A little dissapointed because some coworkers were talking Griffs up like it was addicting but… honestly it wasn’t. I ordered a burger and onion rings for about 6 dollars. There was a Galaga/pacman arcade machine in the resturaunt as well.

Quick and cheap lunch. Only a few minute wait on the food. Keep things moving at lunch. Standard shoestring fries. Enough salt to rival McD’s. The burger was standard, well-done, smashed patty. Have to go to the counter to get drink refills. Not a big deal but makes you feel like an inconvenience when they are busy slinging orders.

theses guys know burgers… food is fresh and outstanding… for the meats part, see what i did there? the fries and dessert portions make you wanna order two, but the burger game plan is something real to think twice about… its fresh… its hot and theres nothing like it… been here multiple times and its the same freshness each time. the service is fast. had a prob with a cashier who kept trying to rush me from the window… but who would move without getting the condiments specialy when your paying the meal? besides that if your in the city gotta stop by and get the monster itll leave a stain of joy ;)

This place would have to be one of my favorite burger joints. Their Mom and Pop style hamburgers and fries keep making me go back weekly. Their hamburgers are pretty simple but DELICIOUS. I can’t leave here without ordering their onion rings as well. Best place to get onion rings! They also have shakes and other foods if you’re not a burger fan. My super picky 8-year-old always wants to come here for their cheeseburgers, fries and shakes!

Really great greasy burger, onion rings were crunchy and hot. I’ll be back just not that often… Don’t want to drop dead from the fatty foods lol

Great burger, seriously good. The fries were pretty fast food like so I wouldn’t order them again. Too much ice in the drink even when you ask for less. The burger is not that big… we got a double to share so it’s probably big for one person. My recommendation for the best burger is burger street. Much bigger. Much better.

Their burgers are greasy for sure, but if fatning burgers are what you are looking for stop by, the drive thru at times gets packed. Everytime i’ve been here i get great customers service, always smiling cashiers. Food is always hot!

This would have to be one of my top favorite burger joint. They have simple burgers with fresh chopped lettuce. I don’t know what it is about this place but I always seem to crave for it. Add a side of fries & coke and I’m good to go. You can purchase a meal for under $ 6ish which is quite a deal as compared to most burger places these days. A gourmet burger today can cost about $ 7 – 9 bucks not including fries and a beverage. Sometimes I just crave for a simple, delicious burger. They also have chili dogs and desserts such as a mini strawberry shortcake which is pretty darn good.

Great if you are looking for a good old fashioned gut bomb :-) my favorite is the mushroom meltdown — double meat + jalapeños. Family friendly local spot.

Heard good things about Griff’s a while back and decided to try it as I drove by one day. Feels like an old-fashioned Mom and Pop place. One of the better fast food burgers around. Both burger & fries were good. Reminded me a little of Whataburger, which is a good thing. Would definitely eat here again, but probably wouldn’t make a special trip just to go back.

Writing this is going to make my mouth water… Whats not to like about this place Mom and Pop style hamburgers, fries, shakes, onions rings and more. My better half usually gets the monster and devours the entire thing in just a few minutes. I usually only get the single cheeseburger and its quite large. The burgers are made to order, how you like them. They’re generally fast unless its lunch time. If you’re in the area I would definitely stop in and try a yummy cheeseburger!6

Griff“s is nothing more than a glorified Whataburger. My fries were limp and greasy. Nasty. The burger was good but, like I said, a glorified Whataburger. What do you expect for fast food though???

This is a good hamburger place however not an excellent burger. We ordered the«Giant Hamburger» and while it was on a large bun the amount of meat was far from being«Giant». The burger had little taste to it and was just another burger. There was a very thin slice and I mean very thin slice of tomato, chopped onions, pickle and small piece of lettuce. I know that one should not expect a gourmet hamburger when you only pay $ 2.99 for the burger. The service was quick and the meal order was accurate. The inside dining area was very clean. Wish I could have written that about the restroom and my spouse advised her restroom was about the same condition. They did give us a refill on our drinks.

Griff’s… yeah. Go to Griff’s and get you a triple triple with a shake. Sleep it off. Griff’s… yeah… do it. Get served enough food to eat like a voracious pig for less than $ 10, get enough artery clogging grease to last a lifetime and a pretty good shake all in less than 5 minutes. If you don’t do Griff’s at least once, you will be missing out on something you will remember for a long time. Screw all the healthy crap, screw all the high end specialty burger places with wack themes and high prices to go with the attitude. Hit Griff’s, pig out, love it… repeat… it ain’t nasty inside either. For real.

I am all for cheap, fast burgers. Although Griffs is more close to a 3 stars because it is pretty good, it is just too greasy for me to love. At the moment, I would be eating it and then later I would feel so sick because of all the grease. So me feeling sick? No bueno. Other than how greasy it is, the quality of the food is just average, there is nothing really that amazing about it. Just an average, overly greasy piece of meat between two buns. But hey if you are into that, this is the place to go!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, back in the early 90s. They’ve recently remodeled(August 2012 from the staff’s recollection) and it’s not the hole in the wall I remember, but still the great taste(AND they still have the old menu, LOVEIT!). Their burgers are so good, maybe a little greasy, but they’re just really good old time burgers. The burger seasoning is on point and getting it with mustard is just so good! They even have old time ice(you’ll know what I mean when you get there) and their fries are also good. Now that it’s renovated, I suppose more people will visit and come to love what I’ve loved for such a long time, but I enjoyed the hole in the wall that it was. Remember when they had a smoking section with fans?! good times. :)
