Ihop

First off we had to wait for 10 minutes. When someone finally came to seat us she went to sit us at a table, there was a booth a crossed from us, the person I was with politely asked if we could sit at the booth, the lady replied that it wasn’t clean, well that was a lie, we could see it was clean so I requested it again and she rolled her eyes and walked us over without saying anything. Our server comes over, he had the most horrific breath I have ever smelt… Our food took forever to arrive. When it came I had to get a to go tray because I was honestly disgusted, he left a lingering scent at the table. The place wasn’t clean.

This location use to be great on serves food quality just all around wonderful at least a 4 star serves… NOT ANYMORE… lets see the managers have grandchildren visiting them during a dinner time and allowing them to come into the kitchen area to see them which i’m sorry that is a safety issue and health problem all in one. next the serves were either busy wanting to go on a smoke break when tables are all full and not making sure the customers drinks are taken or given out to the them. next they have cooks that don’t know the menu of what is all on each item of the menu. last if the servers don’t smoke they are to busy standing and staring at the computer screen or asking what is on each item of the menu cause they don’t know the menu. So in my opinion if your hungry or you have blood sugar issues or anything like that cause if you do then your not going to be happy at all. but when it takes 20mins to get drinks then when you make your order and takes your order 45mins to come out and the server doesn’t give it to the right person on what they ordered and a meal is missing then you get your meal in stages cause the server and cook don’t know menu is very sad and poor service on so many levels and it’s starts with the managers not keeping their staff inside on the floor making sure the customers are having their food come out correctly or making sure kids stay out of the kitchen area. we like IHOP but we will not under any condition be going back to this IHOP we will find another IHOP to go to or go dine at denny’s or waffle house cause at least your service at waffle house is 5x’s better than the service at this IHOP

Okay… Where do I begin this review.
I’ve been eating at this location for the past few months, to write an actual review the quality of IHOP for my local foods blog.
*First the hosts have no idea what they are doing, they sit out of order, fight, complain about working.
Weekends are horrible, don’t try to eat at this location, as you will receive eye rolling and «managers» pretending to know what they are doing.
*Managers pretend to care about guests, the manager I’m «assuming» walks around introducing himself to guests (seems nice). But on a particular day I was dining, heard a waitress say «guest would like to see you at? Table» he responded with «I don’t wanna go see them, she talks too much and is a suck up/​complainer»
* The server staff for the most part is pretty good, all smiles, as long as they aren’t being chased by a little red headed woman who goes as far as degrading them on the floor over a coffee pot position.
*If you are military or a police officer, service man of any sort, DONT COME HERE. they refuse discounts unless you are in full uniform-​on duty. Good luck with your ID, my son was actually told «No way «by your GM.
*There is a waitress at this location, she is an African American usually worked mornings, who saw an interracial couple (white male, and African American female) the waitress stated and I quote, («that’s disgusting, she should be with her own people, why is she stepping out with this fool») to make matters worse, I actually complained, I was told «she just needs to smoke haha» by a male manager. *Same guy as the one above who pretends to care.*
I’ve been proposition at this location by two waitresses on different occasions.
First is an older Hispanic woman with glasses who flirted and I stated I was married, she responded with «me too»
And again by another Hispanic woman with purple hair tied up, who I told the same thing and she actually left a number on my ticket.
If I knew any better I would say this location has «on duty prostitutes»
Final incident that completely disgusted me, a SEWAGE overload in the kitchen, yep actual SHIT in the kitchen.
I saw the staff murmuring and moving about in weird way, I decided to «look» for a restroom and walked into the kitchen and the smell was overwhelming, of shit. It was all over the floor and pouring out of the restrooms, and they DIDNT close. I called the health department and reported this. They came out but an older man (JOE) ushered the inspector out as quickly as he arrived saying it was a «toy»

If your value your health and sanity… Don’t eat at this location! Hit up the Plano location less then 3 exits away from here.

If I could give this place no stars that’s what it would get the waitress was an absolute failure she didn’t listen to anything we said it took her over 4 minutes to seat us and nobody was there the bathrooms were nasty the floors were nasty and I asked her since there’s nobody in here while this place isn’t so queen and she gave me an excuse is that there put new benches in so I said what does that have to do with the crumbs on the floor or the boots being not clean or the bathrooms then dirty and she goes I’ll tell a manager and walked away she tried to get me out of there so fast she gave me a water with lemon what stuff in the glass and I asked her just for a plain water afterwards after I sent it back it still had the lemon in it with the stuff in the glass so I failed to drink anything with my meal I was really service custard I didn’t want to eat I couldn’t wait to get out of there either I was surprised the manager nor the waitress realized that I was very upset and I kept complaining about how nice it was to my mother and my children and I know she heard me and I think that’s why she tried to get me out so fast which was no problems I was ready to leave and my kids weren’t so hungry I would have left anyway everything was dirty and they’re from top to bottom I will never eat there ever again

They are literally all ways busy. If you want take out call 15 minutes before. And if you have a group. Make a reservation 30 minuets before.

My party of 3 sat down at 10:05, after getting our drink orders taken we preceded to wait another hour before we got our food. And once the food was on the table our order was taken wrong. I basically finished my eggs before I ever got my toast. My friend was done with his chicken fried steak before his pancakes came. Even after the manager came and gave us half off, I was disappointed in having the WORST SERVICE I’ve ever received. If you come to this IHOP you should highly reconsider your life decisions

Susan was very sweet ! I recommend asking for her she was willing to get us anything, very personable and very attentive. Food was good but I LOVED MY SERVICE! Thumbs up (:

I always feel rushed while eating here. The wait staff does not like refilling your drinks twice I have had to finish my meal with only one glass. The food is always good that is a plus. You just never feel welcome.

My boyfriend and I came in around midnight, and waited at the front for a couple of minutes. A waitress comes up to us and says «I am the only server, there’s only one cook, and we are closing in 30 minutes.» Then gave us a really rude look. I was thrown off because she said the word «closing» and it was IHOP. We ended up going to Waffle House instead. This place always sucks. The waiters leave their phone numbers for me. UHHH bye Felicia I don’t want your number… the waitresses seem to get annoyed if my friend and I sit for a few minutes after our meal, then stop filling our drinks. Avoid.

Walked no one at desk got looked at twice one waiter one who later I assume was the hostess but I was never greeted with an aleast we’ll be with u shortly
