The Michael’s app or website has awesome coupons and they take them right from your smart phone. It always has everything you need. Sometimes it’s hard to find someone to help you find what you are looking for but when they do they are very knowledgeable.

I am on a mission. A mission to find candle-making stuff for my newest small business idea. I found plenty of stuff here, but it’s nearly twice the price of the kits I found online. Even though I didn’t get what I was after today, I have gotten some good deals in the past plus there’s usually a 40% off coupon to be had if you don’t mind digging around for it.

Being an arts and crafts dabbler(I like to try everything), I like to have plenty of options at a craft store. Michael’s always has a ton of stuff in stock, but the only problem with that is that sometimes it gets kind of crowded and cramped. It’s well organized chaos, though, and things are usually pretty easy to find.

I’ve dabbled in all sorts of arts and crafts, from ceramics, to jewelry making to knitting. Michaels will usually keep you covered, but they are kinda pricey. Like all their locations this one seems cramped in places. Their framing is insanely expensive, I have an artist friend who gave me quite a few small drawings. I came in to get a price quote and just about fell over. I’ve also noticed that their stores always smell weird, like an old ladies house. Seriously every Michaels ever smells the same, even back when the were MJ Designs, and the stores out of state.
