Char-Grill

I eat here as a quick bite before a movie at the theater. Prices are very reasonable and food is prepared fast. It’s a good place for a decent burger that isn’t fast food and without the wait time of sitting in a restaurant. Hits the spot without breaking the bank!

Man I love Char Grill however this particular char grill I will not revisit. It’s not the same process as the other traditional char grills (order, cook, call your name, pay and. Get order). It’s order, wait until your name is called, pay, ticket goes to cook and then wait again until your name is called a second time to receive your order. It’s kind of like the char grill nazi mentality, they also have a sign that says our mistake we correct your mistake no regret. Not really a pleasant experience so I will choose to eat somewhere else while in this area.

Had the ¼ pounder all the way with fries and drink and my daughter had the bacon cheese burger and fries and drink. Was very good and eatching the Carolina Panthers play Seattle Seahawks. Close game.

that old woman that wears her hair net over that gigantic white bush she calls hair has a big A$$ mouth. I put my order in and then went outside to my bike for a minute and she screamed my name 5 times before I could get through the door. I was like gdamn what the eff is this b****** problem? When I got to the counter she took my card and then handed me a cup of ice and I was where’s my, and before I could say food, she cut me off and said your food will be up momentarily, enjoy your drink while you’re waiting and walked away. I was like, ok, eff this b****, this will be the last time I come here. When I got my food, the cheese was cold and the burger wasn’t even hot and they just cooked it!?! I was confused. And the price you ask? $ 10. Hardly worth the price for what I got. I won’t go back to that location if I was given free food for the rest of my life.

This is worst Char Grill at all, the costumer services is terrible, I order a steak jr., and give me a wrong order, I claim and the just put a cold cheese, lettuce and tomato over the same sandwich, not even wendy’s or mc donalds do some like that. I hope owner pay attention to the reviews because quality of this franchise is going down.

I am happy to have Char-​Grill in the Garner location. The burgers are freshly cooked and personally one of the best tasting in town. Sure, you have to fill out your own order and slide it through the slot. Its pretty simple. and a tradition for Char-​Grill.
However, the cashier or manager perhaps should be a bit more kinder to customers. On two separate visits I noticed that when other customers asked for items the staff member was not friendly. The final straw when when I ordered a large burger with cheese. My burger did not have cheese on it. I brought it to the attention of staff and I was basically blasted in front of other customers that «a customer is complaining because they didn’t get their cheese (all while making a condescending facial expression). Others in line at the register even expressed that I should ask for a refund. Instead, I waited for my burger to be remade and left.
Typically I would give high marks to Char-​Grill. But this Char-​Grill has a long way to go in customer service skills before regaining my business. I would highly recommend the Char-​Grill in downtown Raleigh.

I have never been so mistreated & disrespected by a staff of workers. I went to this Chargrill in Garner & waited while one worker behind the counter counted change for 15 minutes. Then it took her another 15 minutes to make me two hot dogs. When I asked her for a cup of ice, she gave me a small dixie cup. When I asked to speak to the manager… she wouldn’t give me her real name… She said her name was T. When I walked out the door the older lady named T shouted on the loud speaker God bless you & your baby. Never… would I treat a customer this way… I don’t know who owns this place… but the workers & the manager are going to ruin your business. I even tried to look up the owner’s name and I couldn’t find it. It

Just as good as I remember! Regular Charburger, southern style — mustard, chili, slaw and onions! Highly recommend!

Love their hamburgers and hotdogs. The fresh steamed buns make them the best. I work in the Garner White Oak area and was and was excited to see them put up a franchise on this side if town.
Always clean, always pleasant.
Great for call ahead if in a hurry.

Good burgers at reasonable prices. Be sure to go on Monday or Tuesday for $ 1.50 burgers and/​or hot dogs.

My wife and I have been to this location numerous times. We’ve been here weekends, weekdays, lunch and dinner. It’s never over crowded and we receive our food in a reasonable amount of time.
Today we both had a ¼ lb steak jr, with fries and drink. It was equivalent to the price of Mcdonalds combo, which is awesome. You can see them grill the meet through the window and you can see that ingredients are fresh. We go here when we want something quick but not in the mood for fast food.
Fries are always hot and crispy. Milk shake is awesome. Burgers are good as well but I wish they had some kind of sauce, signature to chargrill as it can be a tad bland.
This is a solid 4 star place. Good food, good service, good location, and not overcrowded. Not sure what would push it to the top but I reserve my 5 star review for epic places

Great burgers and fries, the best I’ve had from a «fast food» place in a long time. They’re not really «fast food» since they cook your food to order but it was quite fast anyway. Perfectly cooked and delicious, with a perfect «char» flavor, and the fries were top-​notch as well.
Even better, they have a bunch of $ 1.50 specials on Monday and Tuesday. As we were finishing up, the owner (?) came out and chatted with us for a while and gave our kids lollipops. Can’t wait to go back. A real local gem.

Visiting the area and needed a quick bite for the family. The concept was great but the food was ok.
Loved the odea and set. But it was like a glorified Dairy Queen.

I love it and everyone seemed legit to me

This chargrill is very clean but has horrible customer service. When I was being checks out I had to deal with a very rude olde woman who dropped my bag of food on the counter and kind of tossed it at me. It was very strange behavior and the lack of common decientcy left me dissatisfied.
My order was made incorrectly. The service was so rude I didn’t even bother to ask For them to change it.

I’ve already written a review for another location, but though it was worth giving this one a separate shout out. This location is really new and a lot nicer and cleaner than others. Even the bathroom was super nice. As a pregnant lady that’s very important to me. Food was great, service was a little on the slow side, but it was lunch time and they were busy, so I won’t hold that against them.
I’m not sure what the other reviewer meant about bad customer service, because you really don’t interact that much with people working. You write your order on a piece of paper and put it through a slot, and then you pick up your food at a window. But while we were there another customer asked if they could change the channel to watch a game that was on, and the girl working was very friendly and accommodating to his request.
Anyway, great location, Glad we found one closer to home!
