Applebee’s

Sitting here with $ 50in gift certificates but seriously dont want to go to this Applebee. Did curbside to go. Got home and both of our steak actually broke forks due to how tough the meat was. Service was wonderful food was awful. Can’t wait till Cattlemans opens. Will only do appetizers and maybe hamburgers at this place anymore. Manager called two weeks after visit, too long. Corporate took care of us but still Leary.

My husband and I have been here a couple times; most recently, we came just to get ourselves a green beer on St. Patrick’s Day without driving all the way to Lexington (although I argued that I could simply make green beer at home with the beer and food dye we already had).
ANYWAY. The best deal we can get here is the 2 for $ 20. With that, you get a choice of appetizer and two entrees. You can’t just get any appetizer and any entrée off the menu — there’s a select few offered with this deal — but there’s good options for everyone. I usually prefer to get a pasta entrée. It’s not the best tasting dish ever, but it does the job — yummy and stuffs me full.
Yes, this location is your typical upper-​priced American fare with a small bar and several televisions. Beers, drinks, appetizers, foods, desserts, got your basics covered. Clean, friendly, good for groups. Also great for a night out if you don’t want to sit at Steak N Shake or a crowded Buffalo Wild Wings. Whenever we go to Applebee’s, it’s kind of a ‘treat’ because it’s more money than we usually spend these days going out to eat (if we go out at all). Tight budget = eat more at home.
I’m glad Georgetown has Applebee’s as an option, though.

We’ve eaten here now on two separate occasions, and I can assure you that we will not be suckered in for a third time. Our first experience was a total disaster — waited forever to be seated, waited longer for a server to even acknowledge our presence at the table and waited even longer for our food and drink refills. After speaking with the manager, it was explained that he was in the process of getting things back in shape (this was Sept 2014) and that the generally unacceptable experience we had resulted from being short on staff and being seated in a section without a designated server. Fast forward to March 2015. Had hopes of watching the Notre Dame/​UK game (ND fans, wearing ND clothing), and this experience was WAY worse than our other one. We waited 45 minutes for a high top in the bar and were then told that none would be opening up any time soon and were seated at a table — only for us to watch as they immediately sat people at 3 different high tops. Again, we waited for an unacceptable amount of time to be greeted by/​waited on by a server, and after that long of a wait, she was incredibly hateful at that. Not sure if it was because she was having a bad night in general or because she didn’t like our ND attire (it seemed to be a common theme of the evening), but no matter what the reason, she probably should’ve been in the back washing dishes instead of dealing with people.
Two strikes, and this Applebee’s is out for us.

We eat at various Applebee’s frequently. This was our first time eating at the Georgetown location and will be our last! It started with a very dirty wine glass — had the previous drinker’s lipstick and dried food particles, then our food came and my son’s ribs were over cooked and extremely dry, my chicken was burnt on the edges and dry, my husbands pasta was okay, but was served with a breadstick that tasted like it was reheated from earlier that day. This location really needs to clean up their act — and to boot our waitress acted like she’d rather be anywhere but there! We appreciate Applebee’s consistent quality from location to location but were disappointed with our experience at Georgetown.

Bring you own salad dressing… choices are limited. Who serves a Margarita in a martini glass… but you get about 3 drink worth. Food was good though. My first time in KY, and it was enjoyable.

This is like any other Applebee’s chain you visit. Same menu and same friendly service. You can have anything from a salad to a steak and many combinations in between. Their food is great and the staff is friendly. The dining area was extremely clean and the fully stocked bar was crowded. The wait staff was extremely nice and helpful even though they were experiencing a bit of a rush at the time.
It is a great place to go for a lunch rush in my opinion.
The restrooms were a bit dirty for my taste, but other than that. I suggest anyone to pay them a visit.

Love this place… I always see someone I know in here!

A happy hour that lasts from 4 – 7 and then again from 9 until close can’t be bad.
We had four tall draft beers and the total was $ 8!
