Good selection. Staff rotates in and out and items are on consignment so staff may not have a lot of info. They don’t haggle.

Also known as Upstairs Downstairs Antiques, this is a two story shop with your typical assortment of dusty old knick knacks from cowboys boots(because, Texas!), to antique furniture and decorative trinkets. I am not an antique hunting person, but I thought I would get into the old-timey mood in at the square in Georgetown. The clerk was an older lady who said hello, but then refused to look up from her magazine & wasn’t otherwise very welcoming. Upstairs I found a very cute sheer flowy shrug with a ribbon tie at the collar, something reminiscent of a cape and impossible to find in modern stores. I tried it on & loved it(how Zooey Deschanel I looked!), but it was so old the elastic had worn out to its max & it hung baggily. I didn’t see anything else of remote interest. I was the only one in the creaky old upstairs, with decrepit furniture and a large mirror on an armoir… & now I read on the other review this place is rumored to be haunted upstairs. I got a creepy feeling while I was there, but I am hoping it was just my own protective paranoia. Agh!
