DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Had a very great selection of shoes and the clearance section had a huge variety too. My dad were looking for a nice pair of leather shoes and the staff were pretty warm and helpful too. Dad kept finding creases in the shoes, so he didn’t get it. But overall, the place and staff were clean, kind, and organized.

Great customer service The girl who checked us out resolved a refund credit issue (created by another location in Austin) with no hassle or looks that said she «didn’t believe a word we said — it was much appreciated!

OK, my nickname «Shoehead» honestly has nothing to do with shoes. (Or feet, or heads, for that matter…) But I must admit, there’s nothing like a pair of comfortable and stylish shoes. Over the last few years, with my marriage experience with The Lovely Mrs Shoehead, and our subsequent parting, I really lacked the disposable income for a nice pair of shoes. I slipped down the scale from Pay-​Less, to *gasp* Wally-​World footwear. (I’m not ashamed. OK, maybe a little.) But since moving to Austin, and settling down, and regaining a sense of stability after gypsying around, I decided to purchase some nice, quality footwear. I settled on red suede Pumas. I was a total Puma guy in high school, and these were cool-​looking and a good price. An added bonus – I get so many compliments from these shoes by cute girls, it’s a total ego-​boost to this 99% single guy! Now I know what Elvis Costello meant, when he told us how angels wanna wear HIS red shoes. I can now see it.
So thanks, DSW, for giving this old guy an ego boost. I plan to grab a few more pairs of nice shoes from here – again, conveniently in the New Golden Radius – and in a few weeks, be once again able to live up to my 33-​year old nickname!

The customer service here is excellent! They didn’t have the shoes I needed, for a wedding, in my size at any of the Austin stores or online, but they did have them at the San Antonio store. I worked with Heather and she did a great job making sure the shoes were sent up and letting me know when they were in. Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful and courteous and went above and beyond to help me get the perfect pair of shoes!

This place is a shoe hoarders DREAM COME TRUE! When ever I’m in Georgetown, I just have to stop by here and check out the shoe selection. Not only do they have every shoe for ever occasion but they have sale racks in the back, all year round. One year I came here and got 4 pairs of shoes for under $ 40, since then I have been HOOKED! If you sign up for the rewards points you get gift cards in the mail and discounts. Shoes, shoes and more shoes. Their regular priced shoes can get quite expensive but there definitely have the selection to choose from. This place is highly recommended if you have never been before.

A friend and I stopped at this DSW because it wasn’t too far from the outlet mall. I’m used to DSW being busy and picked over but this was neither. It was a nice, tidy store with a very large selection and a lot of great deals. It was nice to see sizes available for shoes that I could wear. The staff was nice and friendly. I’ll definitely return when I need new shoes.
