A 5 star meal at a very low price… this is the real deal! This place could be the most authentic Italian food in the region. I drive 1.15 hours to get here… and love stopping to eat! Portions are very generous and service is always with a smile. Tips are appreciated but not mandatory. Don’t be fooled by their name… pizza is not their only star. Rarely do I give 5 stars… but they have earned it — time and time again… now if you will excuse me, I have Chicken Tuscany to gobble down!

Food is very good and the price is reasonable. Enjoyed the combo dish. Looking forward to trying pizza by the slice next time. Will return again!

Frankie’s looks like your average local Italian joint, but it is not. Everything we had – Caesar salad, garlic bread, cheesy bread, cheesy bread dipping sauce, pizza, lasagna, and chicken Alfredo – was exceptional.

My wife & I went last night for the first time. Being from the Northeast, we know good Italian. Frankie’s is definitely worth a try ! She had lasagna and I went for the spaghetti & meatball(S). Four good sized meatballs. Not too many places give 4. Our food was excellent. She was going to take half home, but alas, when she got up there was nothing left. I finished all mine, too. Never thought I would. Prices are very fair. The two waitresses were also excellent and observing.

Had the Pasta Trio, which is good to try the first time in a Italian Restaurant to see what quality of ingredients they use. Good and tasty, passed the test and I will go back. This is a hole in the wall place and I am sure some walked into it for the first time and walked back out. But they missed a good meal. If a restaurant can be a dive like a bar, Frankie’s would quantify. First surprise is you order at a counter like McDonald’s, then a cashier/waitress brings you your meal. Not a large place so I would guess a lot of take out is ordered. My lunch was a special for $ 6.99 and tasted like a $ 15.00 meal in a place with tablecloths. Have found two decent Italian Restaurants in Georgetown, which is two more than Cedar Park and Leander.

We had a large pepperoni pizza, a Frankie’s Salad, Cannoli, Cheesecake & one Soda. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. The desserts were 5 star by far. The pizza was really good and had 8 large slices. The salad was really good. The reason for 3 stars… the price is really high. $ 35 for a pizza and salad, with dessert… like California Pizza Kitchen expensive. Also the ranch salad dressing tasted bottled. The House dressing was pretty good so I mixed it with the ranch because I am a diehard ranch dressing fan. I’m from Michigan and we dunk our pizza in ranch dressing and I couldn’t do this here. Will we eat here again, yes. Would love to try the vast choices of pasta and the spinach pie. Plus their desserts would be worth the stop!

I only had the pizza here and it was disgusting. The dough tasted old. Similar to a low end frozen pizza only bigger and more expensive

What’s up Unilocal family? I take it your reading my review cause you’re in an Italian food state of mind. I understand and I love good Italian food. I don’t know where Frankie hails from but his accent is cool. I dined here 9.3.15. I walked in and although only a couple of cars I see a group of six. It was little Anthony(who ain’t so little no more) and his Wife(neither is she), Tommie 2 fingaz & … my bad folks I’m thinking of a movie. Actually it was three couples from sun city and all a spry average age of 75. Old folks are fly, you should give them time and respect. Anyway this raucous crowd was leaving and I hear one gentleman comment he’d be back for dinner. I hit the counter ready to order. I tell the man I believe is Frankie It’s my first time. He explains the menu and I decide on a pepperoni calzone. I got the special which came with salad. If you’ve ever seen the George C. Scott Scrooge movie you’ll get what’s about to be said. My salad looked like those two sickly kids under the ghost of Christmas futures coat. {Disclaimer} I am not nor will I ever make fun of sick kids. However my salad looked a bit jaundiced. The calzone was delicious. The cheese was real mozzarella and the meat hmmmm. I love how he was able to keep the dough a little stiff but airy. The whole calzone ended up sleeping with the stomach. I love local dives. Give Frankie a try and you’ll be surprised. I may increase my rating after I try other menu items.

I grew up in a town that featured great food diversity and ethnic diversity… and I deeply appreciate and support non-chain restaurants especially in a growing community like Georgetown! Here, service is Good, Quality Ingredients are the standard and portions are Generous. Yesterday, my wife and I, again, had(what I call) their Everything/Combo Pizza and it was reminiscent of pizza that I loved so much in Greenwich Village, New York! Prices are also set at a reasonable level. Great Job Guys! I’ll be back soon! Eric

Food wasn’t that flavorful. We ordered 1 sliced of pizza, 1 sausage calzone, 1 pizza roll, 1 kids spaghetti and 3 sodas for $ 26. It smelled good but the flavor wasn’t really there unfortunately.

The best Italian food in Georgetown hands down! Pizza is delicious and calzones are perfect. A bit understaffed when i visited but other than that it’s perfect! Highly recommended!

Best pizza I’ve had in Texas so far. The sauce is exactly right. The crust is excellent, and the people are friendly. I tried them because they had a groupon, but I will definitely come back. It’s the closest thing to NY pizza that I’ve had.

Someone, anyone from New York please come to the Austin area and open a pizzeria. No one at Frankie’s has ever eaten a pizza from anywhere other than the frozen food section of walmart. The sauce was bland. The crust of the calzone was under cooked– at that point, we gave up. Can’t recommend Frankie’s . I received a belligerent note from who I assume was the owner. Telling me the food was not frozen. Apparently, cooking isnt the only skill lacking… so is reading. In return, i felt it was necessary to share this information both here and on Facebook. Please this into consideration before you patronize this establishment.

Saw all the rave reviews so we had to try this place, ya’ll kinda missed the mark on this place. The food was good but not anything better than a good mall food court offering. You walk in the door and order at the counter where they have display cases with calzones and other things. The pepperoni calzone was good, just not good enough to save the leftovers, the same goes for my wife’s chicken parmigian and spaghetti, she got an average iceberg lettuce salad and two dinner rolls that were the best thing to hit our table… they were out of unsweet iced tea so we settled for soft drinks. Think of this as a fast food italian place… the service was good…

I was in the mood for Pizza & Unilocalers spoke about how awesome the pizza is here. This is the first time I’ve been let down by you Unilocalers. The pizza SUCKED!!! I can’t even begin to describe how awful it tastes. I’ve been to NY many times & it us nothing like NY style pizza. My suggestion do yourself a stay home & throw a Digorno Pizza from the frozen food section in the oven. It’s ten times better.

Pretty decent place with a great menu. Prices are affordable and it feels like a clean place to eat. Salad is not super fancy as I would like for price paid, so go for the pasta and pizza!

This was my first time trying them out and I must say… Hallelujah Thank the Lord for this wonderful restaurant showing up in Georgetown TX! It is, I have to say, better than the Olive Garden and those that know me… will probably drop in their steps if they read this! The Lasagna was delish!!! This will not be my last order :) Thanks!
