Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of Georgetown

Excellent customer service! Very friendly and helpful staff! They went above and beyond to make sure I was served. The store was clean and tidy, and they had everything properly labeled.

Staff are always friendly in this store and always asking if you have any questions. I’ve placed several online orders for pickup and they’ve gone without hiccups (which is more than I can say for other locations in Lexington). I’ve also had two home deliveries which went well too — they called ahead of the delivery and came when scheduled. Overall, great experience and glad I’ve a Lowes in town!

We had a major problem with an order that caused a bit of headache. they were quick to fix it and the manager Rocks.

Three things you should know:
1) We recently purchased and renovated a fifth wheel trailer (RV) that consistently needs work now and then.
2) We just moved from the Chicago ‘burbs to the Kentucky countryside. Completely different lifestyle.
3) We are in the process of planning for a new house build next year.
That said, we come here a lot.
Lowe’s is also the only home improvement store (I think) in Bourbon/​Harrison/​Scott county so our options are limited. Lowe’s is where it’s at for screws, tools, and wood. I mean that in a non-​sexual way…
Anyway.
Aside from always needing two people to assist you with your questions and slightly high prices, I’ve got no issues with this place. That’s a good thing because my only other choice is to drive out to a hardware store in Lexington. Whew.

The management at this location must have read the last reviewer’s post and stepped it up on the customer service. I have only been to this location once but during the one quick visit, I was asked if I needed any help, more than once. Although, I normally don’t post a review after just one visit, I felt the need to address that my experience as a complete opposite of the only review existing for this location. Being the only home improvement store in Georgetown (that I know of), I think that this place deserves five stars.

Worst Lowe’s in Kentucky. I had placed an online order for an item that, according to their in-​stock online database, was the only Lowe’s within 100 miles that carried the particular product. Absolutely excited it was in stock and ready to be picked up, I received the email stating my order was pulled and ready to be picked up at the customer service desk. My drive was 45 minutes one way, and walked happily in the door. I arrived at customer service and asked about the order, so the clerk goes to clicking on the computer and says, «It’ll be awhile we have to pull the order.» Lets make a short story short and say I waited 25 minutes for them to come back with the product missing parts and packaging ripped open, they try to sell me this? You’ve GOT to be kidding me. By this time, the current employee’s shift was over and the incoming worker had to have the situation explained by me AGAIN. At this point I’m irate, and steam rolling out my ears. They get one person to go find the missing parts (another 15 minutes… no dice) and insist I take it and use pieces that do not match. I demanded a refund (who wouldn’t) and left as peacefully as I could.
After cooling my temper down a few hours later, I called the store manager to resolve the nightmare issue I experienced, and he was absolutely no help in resolving the issue. Offering me a 10% discount on the product missing pieces.
Never again. Sadly this is the only Lowe’s I’ve dealt with that was like this.
