I’ve eaten here about five times. The lunch sandwiches were good, especially the chicken ranch. Breakfast here is a bit of a chore. First of all, plan on spending a good amount of time here for a meal… even something as simple as french toast. The last time I ate breakfast here was when The Corner Kitchen(the other place to eat b-fast in Georgetown) was full-up. I ordered a breakfast meal, which took about 25 minutes to get to me. Bacon cooked so rarely that if you were to hold a piece of it by your fingertips, the entire piece would sag straight down. Practically raw. French toast looked good on the surface, but after one bite I turned each piece over and the reverse sides had all been burned black. Oh well, at least they gave me the pretty side to look at. The waitress was EXTREMELY nice and seemed worried that I was having a good meal. Just because she seemed so sweet, I faked that I had an appointment across town that I’d forgotten and asked for my meal to go(after one bite). I paid for it(dumb, yes, I know) and then threw the to-go box away as soon as I found a garbage can outside. Fortunately for me, the adjacent restaurant now had a seat available and I paid for another breakfast that morning(but at least one that was edible). Fine for tea, coffee or a cookie, and maybe a sandwich at lunch, but I can’t recommend the breakfasts. The attached nursery is okay.
