HA! I was having convo with the lovely Dawn H. at the CMYE: Unilocal Rooftop Party @ The Contemporary, and, she brought up this event. She was like«You didn’t even write a review!». I was like«Well that’s because only a couple people showed up». She was like«So! I wrote one!». Ms Dawn is a true Unilocaler, and, she’s right. Why DIDN’T I review my own event? I put this together with the lovely Nicki D. I think she and I were more excited about Mike’s grand opening than he was! Mike had a lot of products from his collection and from other locals available for sampling. I tried to get Alicia K. and Nicki D. to try the Satan’s blood with me, but, they backed out. At 800,000SU it is an experience. Everyone that loves all things spicy should experience Satan’s Blood at least once. Most of the Unilocaler’s that came to this event showed up around the posted time of 12 — 2. Glad Unilocaler’s came out to support one of our own Mr Mike V himself! Mike’s store has something for everyone. Go check him out!

PhilipB set up this UYE to help support fellow Unilocaler MikeyV. So glad Philip posted the event, otherwise I would not have known that Mike went brick and mortar on Georgetown Square a mere 6 days ago or so. Congrats Mike! So happy for you! Sadly, I wasn’t able to meet up with the group from 12 – 2, but I was certain to stop in later, sample many of Mike’s spicy goodies(the HOT candy is a must) and have a short chat with Mike because that’s just what you do. Of course, had to purchase some signature sauce and pickles with flare… and then was invited to enter a raffle to win some stuff, including a huge gift basket with a lot of Mike’s specialties in it packed with care. As I wrote my name on the ticket I outwardly said«I never win, give the pen to my lucky husband instead.» And, you’ll never guess what… I won the grand prize! Oh, to my surprise!!! :-D So thank you PhilipB for sending me to MikeyVs! Mike’s a really great guy with great products in a great store in a great location! I foresee all the best with great success! XO! Get your heat on! (Note: Apparently I rhyme… or try to… when I’m really happy. I apologize for any nausea this might have caused. Lol!)
