I’ve been coming here for years for healthy and delicious food and have never been disappointed. They have a very consistent home-cooked feeling to their food that I haven’t found anywhere else. I encourage other long-time regulars to write them a review, their restaurant is truly a gem in the DMV area!

Great food. We ordered the goat briyani, naan, shahi paneer and samosa. Everything was tasty. The goat briyani was plentiful and had good amount succulent pieces of meat. Samosa’s were crunchy with a toasty flavor. The paneer cubes could have been bigger.

Eastern Kabob was closed for almost a month while they were moving into this new location by the Lotte in Germantown. Let me just say, that was a very dark month of my life. No longer could I have enjoyed my weekend haleem and bhindi masala. But now they are back! The food is just as good. I did takeout for my first order from the new location, or the Eastern Special kabob variety pack, chicken biryani and chaat papri. Satisfaction achieved.

Eastern Kabob is one of my favorite places to visit during the weekday for their modest lunch buffet. I have not dined here for dinner or ever ordered off of the menu. For $ 9, at the lunch buffet you can choose from about 7 warmed entrees. Standard items such as naan, rice, tandori chicken and then 2 vegetables(chana masala and a vegetable dish during my last visit) and 2 meat entrees(usually butter chicken or keema and chicken entrée on the bone with spices). Just eat and pay when you’re done. The food is quite flavorful and the owners friendly.
