Jimmy John’s

Jimmy John’s advertises itself as freaky fast but this shop is freaky slow. Waited nearly 15 minutes between entering the shop to receiving a sub. The shop was horribly understaffed; there was only one sandwich maker and one cashier at the height of the lunch rush.

I just found out that they are now charging $ 1.50 PER SANDWICH for delivery! They did not inform us of this policy change when we called in. I called them back and asked if this was now their standard practice, as we just paid an extra $ 6 bucks for this charge and tipped the driver $ 5. The guy on the phone also said the drivers expect to be tipped. I told him that considering that our company has them deliver here almost daily, that our orders will be dropping considerably and that is is not a good business move. He told me to have a nice day and hung up.

Atrociously rude staff. Sub-​maker mouthed off to me in front of her boss because I asked for a sandwich instead of a sub and asked them to remake it. Boss looked on and did nothing. Oh, it was also followed by an under-​the-​breath chain of expletives.

Extremely rude !!! Tried to place an order and had the most (Dan) condensending person answer the phone. Being a wise A$$ is not becoming… Maybe Ed Debevic’s you should be working at not Jimmy Johns. I WILL def be complaining to their home office. Then to be beliggarant and comment about my place of employment in the same fashion… Ummmm, I’m not the one working at Jimmy Johns answering the phone pal.

I have been ordering from this JJ’s for about 9 months now and have never had an issue where they forgot anything or took too long. Food is always good too.
I will say this though, I am a little more than perturbed that they still don’t have the online ordering system set up like at any other JJ’s in the metro area. Each time i call I gotta give them all my card info again and again and again.
Jump into the age of technology ya maroons.

My friends in Milwaukee really like this place. I would say it is entirely average. It’s very convenient if you’re in the Germantown area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get a sandwich here.

OK, so I have to do an update to this JJ’s. Since my last review, I’ve given them a few more chances. I’ve now ordered from them a few times, (more specifically — days I don’t want to go out for lunch) and their delivery guy has delivered just like their commercials say — freaky fast. The subs are pretty standard, just make sure to reiterate what you want on the phone so there are no mixups (like my first review).
3.5 stars — I’ll continue to have my subs delivered. It must have been an ‘off-​day’ the first few times I’ve gone there.

Service is horrible. Takes over an hour to get subs. The last 3 times I ordered, I asked for banana peppers and none of them had them on… finally got fed up and called (didn’t want to complain about 75 cents) and talked to the manager (Dannie?) she informed me that it happens a lot because they have a lot of turnover. And that she would send my information to the owner and he would take care of it (a gift card). Waited for 2 weeks then called again after not recieving anything and she then told me that was ridiculous, and that she would resend the information to the manager. Well it’s been over a week since I called the second time and haven’t heard anything. Craphole if I ever saw one. I love Jimmy Johns but this place just plain sucks! Worst JJ’s ever!

I’ve found my new favorite sandwich shop, over 2000 miles from home. I’m in the area on a business trip for a couple of weeks, and while I could choose to go anywhere for lunch I keep coming back to Jimmy John’s. The ingredients are fresh, the subs are filling and delicious, and you can ask for additional veggie toppings at no extra charge.
The staff is friendly and energetic; my sandwich is often ready by the time I fill my fountain drink. I wish we had one back home!

Today’s service really sucked! First they were super slow, and it took three sandwiches to finally get my order correct.

I work 2 minutes from here and I am a regular. I have never had a service issue or an incorrect sandwich. Nearly every time my order is finished and waiting before I even finish paying.

OMG not good!!! No other words are needed !!!
