Pros: There is a huge food and custard menu to choose from, from burgers, to fried chicken, to fish and gyros. Food tastes pretty good; I’ve had better burgers, but it’ll still good. Weekly specials and good variety. The staff is usually courteous and the food is ready quickly, whether eating in or taking out /calling ahead. Cons: Recently, I’ve noticed that the value doesn’t seem to be as good, especially for things like the appetizers and specials. We ordered the mac n cheese bites for $ 4.85(or something like that) and got 7 small pieces of deep-fried-something. Same thing for onion rings. Yes, they are the thick-cut kind, but you only get 5 pieces, which didn’t really impress me. Maybe I’m just being picky… Now I know better to stick to the French fries, which are a generous portion.

Good stuff. Never had a better patty melt than a Kraverz patty melt. Burgers are awesome, too. They have a pretty big menu and I haven’t had many other things on it(I find something I like and I don’t deviate). Generous portions and very reasonable prices. Just make sure to check your bag before you leave the drive-through, as they have forgotten things a couple of times. Other than that, all is good. This place is my guilty pleasure.

Still in Milwaukee enjoying some locals favorites. However this one was not on of mine. I when today for lunch and had the special which was fish and chips. I wasn’t pleased at all with this meal but maybe it was my selection. A colleague of mine order the double mushroom burger with Swiss and it looked heavenly. The moral of this story is that it’s really hit or miss with this establishment — chose wisely!

So Kraverz is a local version of Culver’s. Huge menu that is very similar. Italian beef, hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fish and of course a huge selection of custard flavors for desert. Kraverz was brought up as a suggested place to eat nearby where I was. I got a single mushroom burger, and made it a combo w/a lg fry. All for that for less than $ 9 with free refills on the drink. To me, that’s a good deal. The burger was good and so were the freshly cut fries. They give you a lot of fries in the lg too, btw. I would return here if I’m nearby again. It doesn’t seem like there’s an overabundance of food choices in the immediate area, so I guess Kraverz sorta wins by default!

Kraverz is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. Burgers are great, gyros are good, custard is wonderful! The chili is also very nice.

I read the review on here about the chicken tenders. This evening I thought I would give them a try. They must have changed them because I received tiny tenders but the price is the same. They are the frozen, cheap tenders that you get from bar supply. How disappointing.

Sooo had to take a trip to Milwaukee and came upon this place. We were all starving and wanted some good food. Since we are not from the area we did not know this was a chain in the Midwest. Our hearts were set on good olé home cooking. However, the food was good and the portions size was huge. Be sure to ask for extra dressing if you get chicken because they only give you one, and while that’s okay in most places, their pieces of chicken are well above average. There was nothing special about the place but it did not disappoint. Decent enough for us to eat and hop back in the car for the remainder of our road trip.

Locals praise the fish fry. And it is pretty good, as is the frozen custard. Service is friendly, this neighborhood spot should be on your list if you like trying different fish fry or frozen custard.

Kraverz has the feel of a small, family business. The vibe as I walked through the door, was very much, like a restaurant in a small town that strives to be like, dare I say, Culver’s. But to make this comparison is not fair to Kraverz, which was a million miles ahead, in terms of, food quality. The menu is unique, in that, they have gyros, served with delicious, homemade tzatziki sauce and robust tomatoes and onions. I saw the 4 piece chicken tenders on the menu, and I thought to myself, why is it only 4 pieces? I posted a picture of these mongo chicken fingers. They took up an entire 10 inch plate. They were clearly hand breaded and fried from fresh. The chicken fingers were the bomb! I ordered a large fry and it was a mammoth portion. The prices are comparatively higher, but the portions match the price in my opinion. The custard was pretty good, too!

My kids and I have been going to Kraverz for about two years. The menu is huge, the place is clean, the service is fast and friendly… hands down, the best burger/custard place in the area. The peppercorn chicken sandwich is to die for… especially when washed down with a home made chocolate malt and onion rings. The only thing it needs is a complimentary gym membership for the calories. Yum The prices are reasonable too.

Kraverz is so much better than McDonalds and the like, that not going there for burgers, custard, etc. is a silly move. Kraverz is plain on the outside and inside too, but it is clean and the food served is excellent. For a fast food place the size and variety of the menu choices is huge. Gyro, big burgers, fried chicken, paninis, wraps, fish & chips, Chicago hot dogs and a lot of speciality sandwiches. All are well prepared and come to you fast. One can eat in or get it to go. The prices are very reasonable.

Food is very greasy. During my visit the Owner was yelling at staff for minuscule problems. Saw the cook in the back drop a burger and throw it back on the grill to serve. Reported to Dept of Health, I don’t recommend.

My wife and I was in Menomonee Falls and was looking for a local place to eat, and we stumbled on Kraverz. First impressions is that it’s just another fast food joint but when you get inside you find quickly that it has a touch of local cooking. Kraverz has a pretty large menu, with a little bit of everything there, but Kraverz is none for its custard, and there is a reason why, it’s great! Some of the best I’ve had in a while. As far as the normal food I had a Pulled Pork sandwich which was huge but just average tasting. It just seemed like it was something that must have been frozen and tossed in the oven. Again nothing at all wrong with it, it just wasn’t anything special about it. One other thing that made up for it was the very delicious iron rings. Overall the place was very nice, everyone that worked there was nice and seem to be happy working, sometimes you go to a place and everyone seem like they prefer to be somewhere else, but at Kraverz that wasn’t the case. Very clean, great location and great custard! *Just thought about this, my wife and I both noticed, that there was only guys working there, not one girl. Maybe 6 – 10 of guys, not sure if I’ve not noticed that before in other places.
