It would be a lot cooler if they could sort out the Brown Rice shortage! Brown rice is rarely ready before 1 pm. They should refer to it as a dinner offering. I stopped by this major Chinese national chain a few days ago for the hundredth time. They’re a walk in & eat or drive thru to go Chinese fast food place. The have deals like a 2 or 3 entrée plate as well as what they call a Panda bowl or even a bigass Panda feast. You start by picking your side choice of steamed or fried rice, Chow Mein, mixed vegetables or the illusive BROWNRICE. Then, your choice or choices of the 20+ entrees. I usually grab a 3 entrée container via the drive thru. I fills me up for a solid 2 meals & only costs around $ 10 bucks. Panda doesn’t replicate the true Sichuan provenance. It’s very Americanized, automated & mass-produced. For some, that is too much to look past. For my $ 10 bucks or so, the Shanghai Angus Steak & Orange Chicken taste pretty darn good. The locations are clean, & the service is about par for a fast food joint. There are a lot worse choices one could make when not eating local, funky, or authentic. Still disappointed that they don’t serve real panda yet. what a tease! Just kidding…

I swear they hire a bunch of clueless people to work here! We come here a lot cause the food is good, but we always get served by a different moron every time, who doesn’t understand that the«bigger plate» equals 3 entrees and 1 side. So whenever I select my third entrée, after announcing that I want to order the bigger plate, they always give me the same stupid response: «so you want a third entrée?» No duh idiot!

I love Panda Express… yes it’s not authentic Chinese but it’s good Chinese“ish”. Something different from fast food. I personally love the orange chicken, dragon fire chicken, and green bean chicken. Wife loves the Beijing beef. With all that said every time I go to Panda Express(location doesn’t seem to matter, this one included) they are out of something and you have to wait 4−10min. I understand not wanting to waste and keep things fresh but come on, you’ve been around for years and should have it under control now. Overall I love the food, but having to wait every single time gets annoying

Thought I’d give them another try. Visit started with weak greeting and lethargic service. Ordered three entre plate. BIG Mistake! Fried rice was bland. Beef and Brocoli had one sliver of beef in serving. Orange Chicken was beyond disappointing. I wasn’t expecting authentic Asian food, but this possibly the worst excuse for fast Asian I’ve ever had.

It’s Panda Express, guys. You’re not here for some good authentic fresh off the boat Chinese. You’re here because you’re shamelessly hungry and looking for gobs of fried chicken coated in sticky orange sauce and greasy chow mein. This does the job! It’ll fill you up and there’s even a drive through if you’re worried about people seeing you and judging you for being basic as hell and ordering something like orange chicken. This is great.

The food is good but it never ceases to amaze me that every time I go they are out of something including white rice and fried rice so I had to get brown rice seriously. Last night they didn’t put the spring rolls in my carry out order and there was a 10 minute wait for the entrée I wanted. When I got home and called they said I could come back for my spring rolls. They make McDonald’s look like experts.

Don’t know why we come back, we always have to wait for something. And all their good dishes they charge extra for and give you less.

Thought I would give this place another try. Had to wait for my entrée again. Told it would be 4 minutes. Waited 10 min.

Drive through closed. No food made. Over a dozen people in line and nobody is going anywhere. Completely understaffed. Watched one patron check out after 10 minutes. Gave up and left. I drove 20 minutes from home for panda and got nothing. Complete, utter failure.

This location is relatively fast, cost is reasonable, the place is clean, and the food is fresh. But, that said, it’s fast serve American Chinese food – so it’s mostly glopular sweet, which isn’t my favorite thing. But this will do on occasion. It’s about as good as the places in malls(maybe a slight step down). Note, it’s a crap shoot whether this place opens on time. Went there at 11:15AM on a Friday and the doors were locked. Drove by later that evening and it was open, so not sure what the issue was, it opens at 10:30AM.

I can’t agree go to the Illinois location which seems much better than this location. It was very busy and the service was slow. They had no cashier for at least 5 minutes as he was packing up to go orders. I will probably try them out again but not any time soon.

This was my first time going to this Panda Express. I thought it was alright. I went during a busy time. Anyway, the food was great. I wanted the Teriyaki Chicken, but they were out, and it would have been a five minute wait. So I ordered white rice with beef broccoli. My husband asked, «How is the chicken mushroom,» and the staff just put it on his plate. She didn’t even acknowledge his question. Overall, the place is okay.

I had orange chicken and fried rice bowl tonight. Tasted good but then I started getting hot in the face and lied down. I tried soda but I wasn’t having it. I remember getting dizzy and I passed out for about 4 hours. Just woke up. Never again. I didn’t overeat and didn’t even finish. I never have this reaction normally. I’ll stick to a Chinese takeout I know is decent then these fast food establishments.

I won’t be back. Small portions with good sized prices isn’t my thing. The food wasn’t bad(though it wasn’t great either), but it would seem that everything you’d like on your combination plate is an extra dollar. The egg rolls were surprisingly small as well. I’ll head over to Chinatown Kitchen next time I need a fast Chinese meal.

Honestly I don’t get the fascination with this place. I was told by several co-workers how«awesome» and«fabulous» this place was. Since my husband has a severe /life threatening shellfish allergy, it’s a rare treat for me to eat Chinese food. We typically avoid places like this one for that reason. I was pretty excited to try it out! When I finally broke free of my normal lunchtime routine, bit the bullet and went here, I got crappy Chinese food that was poorly cooked, and way too expensive for what I paid. Weird drive through, weird area, weird packaging of their food. Seriously, I ordered the orange chicken in a ‘single serving’ size and it came in a teeny tiny little take-out container — that would have been considered ‘bite sized,’ not single serving. There was about 4 bite sized pieces of chicken in it. Their egg rolls are super tiny, about half the size of a normal egg roll, and definitely not worth the money. I didn’t think the orange chicken was that spicy(after reading other reviews) but there just wasn’t a lot of it. And the drive through? You place your order, pull through the window, and have to go all the way back through the drive through area. Weird and confusing. I won’t be coming back. It’s just not my thing, I guess.

This was my first visit to this Panda Express, we’ll come back to that later. I’ve been to Panda Express before(in Chicago’s Loop several years ago) but tonight, I was tired, I was hungry and it was quite late. It seemed like a good idea at the time. The facility is spotless, the help was friendly, smiling, and all but overly anxious to please. They were very impressive. I realized I was there well beyond the normal dinner hour, there didn’t seem to be much stock on display, but certainly enough for a couple of orders. I ordered beef and broccoli, string bean chicken and walnut shrimp. The beef and broccoli actually had a couple of pieces of beef in it. It seems that beef is as common in this dish as chicken in Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup. The portions of the main courses are pretty small. The side dish portions are overly large. Panda Express could probably be classified as Chinese Fast Food. Wong’s Wok did it in Milwaukee first, over 30 years ago, and did it better. Anyway, it was my first visit to this Panda Express, it probably won’t be my last but I doubt that I will be a regular here. I’d say that Harvey Moy doesn’t have much to worry about.

Food is not labled as spicy and it should be. Even after mentioning that it was my first time there I ordered kids meals(orange chicken) for my little children only to have them in tears after eating some because it was so spicy. Either lable menu items or warn people ordering kids meals. I called the manager to complain and he offered me more kids meals… My children are scared to even try chinese again, 20 bucks in the garbage. I also did not like the chicken eggrolls, they tasted off. I’ve had much better chinese food even in the mall.
