Wow! Today I forgot my debit card and had to use my credit card, however the security of my credit card requires that I slide it into a chip reader in order to be used. A Tall male Barista named Chris swiped it and it was not working but we was so nice about it and willing to keep trying. Long story short they payed it forward and gave me my coffee for free because it was already made. If I see this Barista next time I go in I will definitely be tipping him ! One Barista(a Asian female) upset me by telling me when a card declines it’s because of insufficient funds in front of 2 or 3 other customers. It seems like she was annoyed with me and almost want to embarrass me. It was upsetting because she had been aware of my whole situation from the beginning and to still make a comment like that made me feel as if it’s out of spite. However, I can not let her get in the way of my awesome experience with the male barista’s ! Will be back, this time with cash and my debit card!

This is the place Where I got addicted to coffee. Been a solid customer since circa 2006. They’ve had their circulation of employees, supervisors, and mangers without missing a beat. They will almost always get your order right and have it ready in a fairly timely manner. To be honest, the current crew is not as good as previous employees, but with new management I hope this will improve. If you’re looking to relax in a seat to study/read, this isn’t your best option. They consistently have a group of locals from the halfway houses that love to take seats and sleep/talk to themselves for hours on end. So if you’re into creepy guys who don’t smell good, dive in! If not, there are other Germantown locations with much better ambiance. Apparently it’s against the ‘policy’ to ask people who don’t buy anything and sleep in the store everyday to leave. Hmmm. Overall I’m not writing this review as someone who doesn’t frequent this location. I’m sure if there is improvement I will update this review in the future.

I was looking forward to have breakfast and coffee. The only thing I wanted was not available and they filled the wrong coffee. Very disappointed and had to go elsewhere to have breakfast.

I’ve always had quick and speedy service here with friendly baristas. It’s definitely one of my goto spots for a boost. The tables and work areas are clean with ample space for meetings and studying.

I’m not a coffee person unfortunately, but I come here every once in a while for a coffee date with my friend who LOVES it. I always have a nice experience. The baristas are friendly and efficient. They’ve always gotten my orders right. During my most recent visit, I tried the caramel flan frappuccino and the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The sandwich came out in great time whereas at other locations, I’ve actually had to remind the baristas that I’m waiting for one. The frap was delicious and I loved how the cashier recommended it to me since I’m not a huge coffee drinker. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day. Both the sandwich and the drink were awesome. My friend got an iced coffee, which she also enjoyed. We’ll be back :-)

The employees are top notch, but being inside this Starbucks was like being in an art gallery, and all of the tables were little tiny pedestal art exhibits. Each table has exactly one person, using their computer or phone or whatnot, displaying themselves to everyone else while simultaneously refusing to acknowledge any one else. Like individual little pedestals in a Gallery of Douche. The coffee is good, though, but the plastic aseptic culture in the dining room made me feel uncomfortable for being in there. Maybe if I buy a coffee every day the other customers will begin to accept me and I can consider myself to be part of a Starbuck’s tribe. It’s not like there’s any coffee shops other than Starbucks in town, anyways, so this is my only chance.

The most efficient and energetic Starbucks baristas in Germantown and potentially all of Upper Montgomery County. If they are open then they are busy. If any of the condiments are low just let someone know and they will quickly take care of it. Nice clean environment.

I have always disliked Starbucks coffee, until I stumbled across this location. Friendly staff and the drinks are awesome. At every other Starbucks I always had the same issue — all the drinks tasted so bland and had lack of flavor. This Starbucks is the only location that made my caramel latte the way it should be. Good staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere

I used to frequent this Starbucks on my way to Frederick for work many years ago. Even back then, the customer service, speed, and quality of the coffee have been very good. Fast forward to today, I usually stop by on my way to my new home/work in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The customer service, speed, and quality of the coffee are still good. There is plenty of indoor seating and several tables outside for those nice days. There is plenty of open space inside. However, on those busy weekend mornings or afternoons, it can get really crowded. The restrooms are very clean and well-lit. There are large, wide blinds for the windows that the patrons can raise or lower. All in all, a very decent Starbucks location!

Hey look, it’s a ‘Bucks so you can only go but so far with it. But what I enjoy about this particular ‘Bucks is the consistent GREAT customer service, the swiftness of my order and the comfortable air of the place. Like most ‘Bucks, it has its annoying regulars who are usually more chatty than they need to be when they see noobs stepping onto their turf but it’s mostly cool. Big shout out to Taylor and the other bro with the awesome mustache that always hooks it up right. I love this place.

The staff here is really nice. It was rather crowded for a Friday afternoon when I went to study. But it is just like any other Starbucks, full of busy people. Everyone where is super polite though. I think there was more high school and college students than I am used to. But all in all it is a great place. The windows are huge so in the afternoon it was rather warm. Patrons were able to lower the blinds.

So I LOVE this location! Friendly baristas, tasty coffees and somewhat speedy service. I favor this location because the baristas take the time to suggest healthier options. I’m here every weekend at minimum and a few mornings a week. Best location in Germantown.

Best Starbucks I’ve been to, they’re very fast and friendly. I didn’t realize that you have to pay for extra stuff like drizzle and pumps until I went to a different one!

One of the best Starbucks in Germantown, possibly best I have been to anywhere. The Baristas know their drinks down to the letter and make excellent recommendations. The store is kept clean and customers do their part to be courteous. Smiles and great service. In the last year of visits, Roberto has been my favorite Barista for his service, smile and how he treats every customer. Stop by, ask for a recommended drink not on the menu and chillax for a while.

My go to coffee place. This place always gets my chai right. No matter when you go. YOu will be in and out in snap. And not worry if they messed up your order. Though its been a hot summer so far, its ice cold in here. And people camp in here for hours sucking up the free wifi! this part I hate. THey should have a time limit. Yes, I paid for my latte too, and I should enjoy some wifi! overall, the place is clean and well stocked at the coffee bar. Employees are nice and helpful when you cant decide.

I would like to start out this by saying that Starbucks is in no way my favorite kind of coffee shop. I find their drinks to have low consistency and too high of a price. I also prefer smaller shops. Anyway, this is the best Starbucks I have ever been to. The staff is always nice. They NEVER mess up my order and are incredibly consistent. They are even cheerful at the crack of dawn! It’s kind of weird that it is next to the Safeway. I love to sit outside with my dog and read the Post when I have a morning free from work. For those of you like me who tend to run late, they are fast as well! Even with a line I am usually in and out of there. Coffee bar is usually stocked(even at the busiest times) and very clean. The other Starbucks I frequent in Germantown(over by the Giant on 355) pales in comparison to this place.

Holy farking frostballs, Batman! They are –serious– about their climate control in here. Walking in out of the sweltering sun in the middle of the afternoon, my immediate thought was of a giant cup of iced soy latte(which, just to be clear, isn’t nearly as good as the one obtainable for about a quarter less at Baked and Wired). What I –should– have ordered was a hot soy misto to combat the frigid air inside, instead. On the upside, the joint seems to have plenty of seating in the middle of the day. I found myself parked on a comfy battered armchair for most of the afternoon, avoiding the 270 traffic before a media preview for a restaurant opening up across the street this evening. With the giant windows facing the… well… parking lot, there was plenty of natural light, which I was much in need of after nearly dozing off on the drive up from the Beltway. *yawn* It was abundantly clear that this was the only coffee shop in the immediate vicinity, when I spotted some folks I was planning to meet later this evening also enjoying their coffee across the room. When your caffeinating options are kinda limited… this is where you end up. Abundant seating, enough outlets, and never having to worry about being sweaty and uncomfortably hot? Right on. In the future, I’ll know to be more prepared by bringing along a hoodie.
