Stumbled upon this wine cellar while grocery shopping nearby. With covered doors and windows, the place looked a bit shady, but once you step foot inside it was kinda nice… they were playing some kind of popping bubble music and you see people just chilling in a corner watching tv. Really nice, cozy (yes, a cozy beer & wine.) atmosphere inside, and there is a connecting «tavern» as well. In addition to the standard stock, this place carried a larger selection of local MD wines than any other beer & wine I’ve been to. The staff was chill and helpful. Price was average. With every beer & wine around the corner, sometimes you have to stand out. Sugarloaf wine cellar is pretty neat and I’ll definitely be back for more bubbles.

Friendly owners make this spot special. You can have a beer and play keno right on site, and get food as well. It is certainly a one stop shop of sorts. The food is good as well! I recommend anyone to give it a shot. They have the best selection of wines and beers in Germantown. Only downside is that they’re not open very late. Still well worth it!

Good selection of wine, great selection of beer. Prices good for Montgomery County, but with coupons prices compare favorably to DC or Virginia.

Wine selection is decent and the prices seem to be reasonable. Wish they stocked more Dogfish Head.
Occasionally, they mail out coupons for beer and wine which is great!
