Really good steak and cheese here. Also while you’re there pick up a 6 or 4 pack on the crafts beers available excellent compliment for weekend bite.

To be honest, I come here more for the cheesesteaks than the beer (although their craft beer selection is the
and deserves its own separate review). The cheesesteaks will have you coming back weekly! Some of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever eaten and likely will ever eat. The customer service is nothing short of amazing. Fast service, consistent yumminess, incredible staff. What more do you need?

Good selection of wine. The beer is always cold! Staff is friendly. The make subs also, looking forward to trying it next time!

A 3.5 for food bumped up to 4 because I found my favorite Lite cherry hard lemonade in the refrigerator, that is not easy to find. I am always in search of The Best Sub, so as soon as I saw this 4.5 star average review rating (and really, the guy who gave it a 1 because they wouldn’t let him charge just a coke should get real), I headed right over. (Seriously, I hate cooking.) Alas, while the steak and cheese sub was better than average, it was not perfect. Yes, the steak was outstanding, very tasty and juicy, might be the best shaved steak I ever had, and the provolone was generous and nicely melted. And yes, the ‘roll’ was fresh, perfectly chewy and not too crisp, but it was skimpy in size– a skinny little thing, much like a small store baguette in diameter (emphasis on small), not at all like a good size proper hero/​sub roll like Jersey Mike’s. And while the boardwalk fries were thick, cooked well, and tasted like fresh potatoes, I asked only for a little Old Bay seasoning (which has plenty of salt in it), never thinking they would salt them as well. Tasted OK, but way too much sodium for my blood pressure: a half-​hour later, I had the worst dry mouth, I thought my tongue would crack. 3 lemonades later, I’m buzzed and red in the face, but my mouth still feels like the Sahara. Noble try, but the search goes on!

They have an amazing beer/​wine selection with fantastic subs, hot and cold. For anyone who has a fondness for a classic beer/​wine/​deli spot, this is the best place around.

Went here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Heard from a couple of coworkers that this place had amazing hot and cold subs. I ordered a six inch Philly Cheese steak and old bay fries (which they cook in peanut oil) and everything taste amazing.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ would bang the food.

Good subs on french bread with nice flavoring. The menu is small and carryout only but there benches across the street to sit. The old bay fries are good too. The place is mostly a liquor store so you order at their checkout counter. Call in orders with fries don’t save time because they wait until you arrive to make them

Wines are a bit pricey, but I love their craft beers. Their Philie cheese steaks are crazy good. The owner is a fun guy!

So the staff are always friendly and inviting but the prices not so much. I came in and bought a 24-​pack of Heineke and it was in the $ 35 range. I know things are often inflated but that was a bit absurd. I would have given a 5-​star had the prices been a bit more economical.
As many Unilocalers have stated you should definitely try there steak and cheese subs as they are super good. Ohh, they even sell girl scout cookies there if anyone is looking for them.

I stumbled upon this place by accident. Some friends had just finished helping us move and we decided pay them in pizza and beers. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of craft beers and cleverly monikered wines they carried. I went to the counter to pay for my items and noticed that directly behind the cashier was a small kitchen. I checked out the menu and decided to get a steak and cheese and fries (with three hungry guys waiting in the car, I had very little chance of getting a crack at that pizza!).
The sandwich was huge and really tasty. Bonus points because they bake their own bread (and it doesn’t cut your mouth up when you eat it!). The fries tasted both old and overcooked: Full of grease but lacking in flavor. I’ll avoid those next time.
Since we just moved, we definitely need to refill our wine rack. I love wines with cute names and cleverly entertaining or aesthetically appealing labels. This place has plenty of both. They also sell my beloved Jam Jar Shiraz!
Any place that sells Jam Jar is alright with me! Yep, I’ll be back!

Great local beer and wine shop. Nice selection of craft beers. Try the subs, the rolls are amazing. Super friendly staff.

These guys are friendly in a disgruntled-​old-​man kind of way. I’m happy to go into a «beer/​wine/​deli» where everybody speaks English and can make a great sandwich. Seriously, the real hidden gem here is the food. They make great sandwiches. Call in your order as there is often a wait. They make subs the way they are supposed to be made.
The beer and wine selection is excellent. The prices are high. Everything seems a couple dollars more to me than I can find it elsewhere.
They’ll handle keg orders for you as well which is a a nice local benefit. Not a lot of stores do that or do it well.
So, go here just because it is one of the few «beer/​wine/​delis» in MoCo that ACTUALLY serves good beer, good wine and good sandwiches… you know how most of them look. Most of them look like a 7 – 11 with a beer/​wine license and they all sell the exact same sh*t and have that dirty little Keno counter in the corner, and a deli counter you’d be afraid to eat from. This one isn’t like that.
This is a gem.

With all the options up and down Century Blvd for a sandwich, This place does it the best. Competitive prices with the grocery store down the street but superior bread and meats and condiments. Even when busy they pump out great and fast service with a high quality product. Wish I could enjoy the extensive beer selection but I’m only in area during working hours.

Best subs ever! The guys (and lady) that work there are so nice and always more than helpful. I am so picky about my subs but they always manage to get them spot on. If you’re looking for a great classic sub this is the place to go on Century Blvd.

This place gets kudos for having my favorite wine. This is the only place in the 3 mile radius that has cupcake moscato i know because I checked. Not only that but the staff is very helpful and nice. They have great boardwalk fries one day il try their sub though.

I came in here and my friend wanted to get something to eat and drink but they had subs but i was kind of afraid i wouldnt like it so i said lets go to the panda express the guy who was working there was like i had panda express the other day sometimes the chicken is not cooked fully. i said oh but me and my friend went to panda express anyway we bought beers from the store.
This is the only place that sells food in a beer and wine. That’s dope. I came in the beer and wine on my own to try the sub. I ordered a philly cheese steak .It was wonderful! The bread was buttery reminded me of italian bread cheese was melted.
The chef forgot my red pepper that i wanted on the side So the cashier reminded him.

So I was looking for some hard to find ales! and Voila!!! I found them at dirt cheap prices! Though, the prices for the brewskies are high! I like the owner!!! He was sereneding the crowds in his high tenor voice!!! I like when owners take pride in their stores and make customers feel welcome to shop. Though, I wont by the brewskies, the sandwiches are good! real good!

Absolute BEST Steak ‘N Cheese sandwich in Germantown if not all of Montgomery County! Great beer and wine selection, especially German Bier. And, if they don’t have it, they will do their best to get it.
And to the person below that complained that they wouldn’t take a credit card for ONE Coke, c’mon, get serious! Merchants pay a minimum transaction fee and they loose money on a transaction involving one soda. Go around the corner to Safeway… they will take your credit card for one soda.

Love it. I had not come in here, as I had assumed it was just another beer/​deli hybrid disaster that sells Bud and Coors in 80 packs and slings lousy sandwiches.
We had lunch plans, so we did not partake of the food. But the menu looked solid and I have heard (and read on Unilocal) that the fries are great.
The beer selection was indeed great. I got a lot of nice fall beers today for a Saturday of grilling and college football. There are LOTS of pumpkin beer options right now, if you’re into that like I am :)
I’m definitely going to be back. The beer selection won me over. The ladies who were working there today were super nice. The wine side appeared solid, but ill check it out next time :)

This review is not directed towards the great selection of beer, rather the subs. Beers and Cheers has hands down some of the greatest subs in Montgomery County. Go for the steak and cheese and you’ll quickly find out what I mean.
The staff is top notch too. A bunch of great, knowledgeable guys willing to help you out with whatever you need.
The store is conveniently located in the heart of the Germantown Town Center, which makes it a very easy stop when you’re in the area.
B&C also has an extensive selection of craft beers and in fact, is mainly centered around that. They always seem to have a good selection of beer and wine.
So next time you’re in the Germantown area and find yourself running dry and hungry, be sure to stop by Beers and Cheers to grab yourself a case and a steak and cheese sub!
