I’ve been stopping in occasionally for several years under both the original owners and the new manager. Yeah, things can be a little uneven depending on the day you stop in. If it’s a slow day in the middle of the week, I’ve seen«wait staff»(that is, table clearers and drink deliverers) checking their phones. But if I put a plate aside, it’s still gone pretty quickly. I don’t go to a buffet expecting 5-star service. The sushi keeps getting better, and the new managers go all-out on holiday menus, which are a TOTAL bargain compared to a fine dining restaurant. My only complaint about the holiday menu is that to make room for exotic dishes they don’t do the steamed dumplings that are usually available at other times of the year. I think they dial down the hot spices in the hot and sour soup on holidays. I’ve had it during the week when it had just the right amount of head-clearing heat. The new managers have FINALLY labeled the hand-dipped ice creams, and made other minor adjustments like putting the chopsticks out in the buffet instead of hiding them back by the staff-only drink machines. There’s a fresh coat of paint on the walls and new chairs, too. It is quickly becoming my standard for judging all other Asian buffets. I took away the 5th star only because I don’t think any of the staff should be fiddling with their phones in view of the customers, even if they don’t do much beyond handle drink orders and remove dirty dishes. I was there on Christmas Day and will be back on New Year’s – I may come back and revise this. Bottom line: don’t be afraid to give it a try. If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault.

This used to be my favorite restaurant to go to, now its one I stay away and avoid like a disease. The food used to be awesome and the service impeccable, now it feels like everyone here stopped caring about the customers and quality of food. Gave it a last chance the other day and everyone was on their cellphones and the food was awfully cold. Never again!

A nice selection of food, and everything we tried was very tasty. The staff was pleasant, and we had a good experience.

I don’t go to a buffet for the ambiance, unless I’m in Vegas, and I don’t expect Maine lobster to be included in a $ 12.99 special when you’re in Gettysburg. If you keep in mind that Li’s is a buffet and not a gourmet $ 35 per plate venue, I believe you will agree with me that you will find Li’s to offer the best value around. The food is far above average, both in quality and selection. The décor is certainly outdated, but I find that to be part of the subtle charm of the place. I especially enjoy the coconut shrimp, the variety of sushi choices, and the cream cheese wontons. I stumbled across Li’s by accident about a year ago and have yet to be disappointed in my ten or so visits since. Go there for the good food, not the décor, and you will not be disappointed.

It USED to be alright, the food like the egg rolls, shrimp, or anything fried is always really burned. The food is not fresh and looks and taste like its been there for a while. Food is most of the time cold.

This place used to be good. The sushi is actually not bad for buffet sushi. Now that is the only food I will eat here. The fried food alway looks like it has been setting around since the previous day. Décor is typical low budget. I would advise the Owner to renovate. If you do go, the sushi is the best thing they offer and you can request items to be made which is nice. There are better places to eat in Gettysburg.

Food was not fresh. ‘Special’ Alaskan crab legs were disappointing, probably from frozen cold storage. We asked for fresh dumplings, because the ones on the buffet were gray and dead. When we asked for new ones, it seemed to cause an issue in the kitchen. But they did, and their best effort was sad. I love dumplings, but these made me think of dog meat mixed with some scallions. Alas, they never refilled the dipping sauce on the buffet, so I got to experience the full array of taste blandness. Place was dirty. Servers were loudly declaiming things in Chinese across the room.

I was excited to visit Li’s during a promotional ‘seafood buffet’ for $ 12.99 on a Wednesday afternoon last week, and sorry to say, it was absolutely terrible. The ad was very misleading, stating there would be an endless supply of lobster, clams, shrimp and more. The lobster was laughable, the clams were nonexistent, and the shrimp was pretty pathetic. Even the traditional fare was dry, tasteless, and barely edible. My significant other blamed our time of arrival(roughly around 2pm) since nothing displayed looked fresh or appetizing. I felt extremely nauseous after eating the little that I picked through, even dry-heaving once I returned home. Friends of ours state that Li’s was good on another day, but unfortunately, I will never go back. The thought of returning makes my stomach churn and the waste of $ 30 is burned in my memory. Try at your own risk.
