2 Forks Up

I understand new places have to work out the kinks so to speak. We went to dinner Saturday evening is was busy but not fully packed there were at least 5 empty tables. All of our food was luke warm non was hot. I ordered the salmon burger with goat cheese which did not have goat cheese on it when I asked for it I was brought a cold chunk of goat cheese on a plate, All the food was under seasoned not in the sense it lacked flavor it just needed salt quite a bit and I never usually salt my food in restaurants, We waited over 15 minutes just to ask for our bill the waiter never asked once during our meal if we needed anything or if we were happy with our meals. Our water glasses were never refilled nor were they even offered to be refilled. The food was good but I would suggest making sure to address these inconsistencies. When we said something our drinks were comped and that was it. Not sure if I will go back. I am a chef and if I served things that way and gave that kind of service I would not have a job. Oh yes three things on the menu were gone we had dinner at 6 pm it was still early for food to be gone already.

Very limited menu– when we got there, they were out of 3 of the entrees. The salmon burger was satisfactory — the best part of the meal were the fries which were excellent. My salad was an absolute joke (over $ 6) mostly cut up iceberg lettuce-​absent from other items — not even croutons! Our waiter could have been more attentive than he was. The wine list was also very limited. I guess if you just want to go for the fries– it would be the place to go. I’m not saying a small restaurant should have 50 choices, but more than what’s listed would definitely be in order. The website also needs to allow potential customers to read their menu more clearly. Bottom-​line, you need to work on your menu, and improve on the basics (such as salad and table service) — otherwise, 2 forks up will be known as «we forked up».

Stopped for lunch and blown away. Great burgers and excellent service. Stuffed peppers were not spicy at all. Only disappointment. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu.

There were 10 of us for dinner. Service was great,! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. There was another table of 10 here as well and all the food came out correct and we really did not wait too much longer to be served. They have a full bar and the deserts are amazing!
