I bought a case of Clos du Bois wine with a rebate that I never got. That was in October of 2015. I have called them 3 times as well as the store and the rebate people with the promises of my $ 24.00. Nothing, I will never buy Clos du Bois again either in a store, online or dining out. Way to run a company. Lure the customer in with a rebate that you have no intention of actually following through on the payment.

My first time visiting visiting a winery and I was in love tried so many different wines I like the Malbec the server was very knowledgeable about the wine making process the origin of the wine where to find their wines and local stores like BevMo and Safeway and as well as different tours that they offer at the winery the gift shop loaded with different types of goodies I ended up buying a bike jersey that sported Clos du Bois so I will be back and I’m so glad that I’m a member thanks

My hands-down favorite winery thus far. Honestly, maybe everything just suited my taste buds, but when I came here during the Winter Wineland event, the service was great, and the wine was even better. I and my three co-workers ALL bought bottles at discounted prices. I would have bought two if my wallet didn’t feel so light… The wines on the tasting list were all pretty nice, but the standouts were actually the extras I tasted. Key recommendations would be their Malvacia Bianca for $ 30 — Perfect balance of fresh, floral, with crisp fruit like pear and green apple, as well as both versions of Fleur. I tried the Riesling version first and fell in love, but when I tried the Semillon, it basically blew my mind, and I ended up buying right away… sweet, golden, syrupy, and fragrant, like Concord grapes in flavor. I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing it was. So, yes. I’ll be back. And I’ll be bringing my mom the next time around.

Here’s a place I’d never choose to go because I am afraid of «big name» winery’s. How can they possibly produce a quality product? My children have wine club memberships, so Sofie and I are always tagging along to pick up their wine so we can get the royal free tastings. Clos Du Bois is the first stop on their pickup list. What’s so good about Clos Du Bois? The wine. They are«deep» in good wine. The smaller wineries usually have a focus on one red or white that is especially good — but Clos Du Bois has both… and even a delightful dessert wine. Two wines I enjoyed were Calcaire and Marlstone — a white and a red. The names come appropriately enough from the soils that produced them: argilo calcaire and marlstone soil types. The tasting room is large and spacious with an indestructible bar of 3/8″ plate steel. The servers are friendly, helpful and give generous pours — but I think there was a little extra friendliness because of the wine club membership. They brought out extra wines not on the list for us… and we appreciated both the wine and the kindness.

Since we live in Healdsburg we have been to lots of Winery’s and tasting rooms. This weekend we took a guest here and had the best tasting room experience with Phil as our«pourer». Thank you Phil for for fun and informative time.

I’ve had Clos Du Bois wines purchased from Safeway, Bevmo, etc. They were okay, but not my favorite. The estate wines at the winery tasting room were totally different. I picked up several bottles. Great quality! The tasting room has some great local gifts to pick up. Outside there are picnic facilities so that you can make a day out of it. There are charging stations available for electric cars and the parking lot is nicely shaded by solar panels. Very green friendly!

Had a great time sampling some great wines. Phil really hooked it up giving extra tastings and large pours. Great way to spend a Saturday.

Great stop on our Wine Tasting Adventure. Our Vintner Philip was fantastic. I loved the sweet wine. I purchased the Fleur. I am looking forward to sharing this bottle with friends.

I came here with my parents one afternoon because we were visiting wineries near by. We wanted to try it because it is usual a reasonably priced bottle in the grocery store, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the flavors of the wines. They weren’t bad, but I will probably continue to explore other places. In addition, when wine tasting I’m a huge fan of ambiance and atmosphere so I love when the tasting room and buildings are pretty but this had a very modern feel to me that wasn’t my style.

My spouse and I just visited this Winery today. We parked under the covered parking, which was nice and shady and went in with our 4 year old daughter. We hadn’t planned on wine tasting but on our way home we saw the winery on Apple maps and wanted to stop by as this wine has a sentimental value to us. We were a little weary of bringing our four year old into the winery but as soon as we met George we were glad we had stopped by. He was very welcoming and paid special attention to our daughter. We did the $ 15 tasting which was two whites and four reds. The pours were average in quantity but George really took the time to explain wine tasting and the wines to us. He could tell I was fairly new to the experience. George went above and beyond the featured tasting menu. He poured us a few of the wines that are not sold in stores and have very limited production. Needless to say we bought a couple bottles. My spouse and I decided to join the wine club and were given the opportunity to purchase the July shipment which contained a $ 60 bottle of wine. I’m giving this 5 stars because we really feel that the experience is what really makes the tasting special. Had we not been impressed with George and his ability to treat us as well as he did we would not have joined the wine club or bought any extra bottles of wine. This was the perfect ending to our vacation, thank you George.

George served us for wine tasting. We started with $ 15 a person tasting but when we found things we liked we converted to wine club membership and received out tastings for free. Loved the Tempranillo and the Marlestone. When George recognized that we like«big reds» he directed us to Hawkes which we also enjoyed. The review from the people who stopped at Clos Du Bois, as their 7th wine tasting stop, 15 minutes before closing is humorous.

I visited the winery with two girlfriends. We had a two for one w a free glass coupon. The server literally, i kid you not ripped it up infront of us and said that she would give us the bogo but not the glass. The comp card did not have an expiratiin date on it — she said it was old. She had short hair and a puffy vest on. I didnt catch her name. She made us so uncomfortable my girlfriend insisted we leave. I have never had a bad experience like that before at a winery. Wont be going back. Its unfortinate too because the winery is very nice inside. I love the gift area and the fact that you can purchase cold cheese and meats there.

You must do the blending testing. We’ve been doing tasting and tours in the area and even though the wine are good, it becomes boring after a whole. I booked this wine mixing thing because I though it would w different and I wasn’t disappointed. The tour was nice and relaxing and the mixing was a lot if find They pour a lot of different 100% pour«wines» straight from the barrels and allow you to make your own mix. We spent 30 minutes to 1 hour playing with the samples to get something we liked and also had over a glass of the final Bordeaux mix Clous du Bois have. It was so much fun! It is definitely a good alternative to the regular wine tastings. 5 starts for service, 7 stars to must do it and 5 stars for wine taste

I feel like … this one of those … sort of Robert Mondavi experiences. Like you know these people, they make good wine for Safeway or whatever but it’s nothing special. The winery is huge, they have a nice backyard /outdoor area where they put up some corn hole games you can play. There is also a nice picnic area where you can grab some of their wine and glasses and have your own picnic here. In general, the wines are ok priced, some kind of expensive for the quality /taste … but it’s one of those places where you kinda want to visit because you see their wines everywhere.

On a road trip through Healdsburg, my friend and I stopped at this winery first. We visited four other wineries later that day as well.(Francis Coppola, Hawkes, and Seghesio). Parking: There is covered portion of the lot which provides shade for 20 or so parking stalls! So amazing on a day that was in the early 80s. Winery: This winery by far won my heart by its excellent service, friendly and warm demeanor, and awesome wines. I’m not a wine connoisseur by any means, but felt compelled to write this review. **All the wines we tasted that day were really pleasing, and we ended up taking a couple bottles home** Last side note: It was surprisingly not busy for a Sunday in late August, and that may have added to the positive experience! Thanks Clos Du Bois and your awesome staff!

Nerd alert! Solar panels everywhere, and inside a screen showing the power generated. We asked the staff questions about the power — and we must not be the only ones because they definitely knew what was up. I wasn’t blown away by the wines on the Visa Signature tasting menu, but it was also late in the tasting day. Not sure I totally trust my palate. This one is on my list to come back to and spend a little more time.

Big tasting room, big parking lot, lots of solar panels. Average wine in general. Visa Signature card holder has a special tasting menu with 4 reserved wines, which all tasted ok but not impressive. The paid«premier tasting list» offers more wines and includes their flagship Marlstone, which tasted better than the others. But I’m not sure I’d pay $ 10 for that tasting. The service is slow in general, which can be good if you want to hang out and chat with friends while waiting for the alcohol to work its way down.

Impressive facilities with hundreds of solar panels and charging stations for electric cars. I had an overall very enjoyable experience. The staff was pretty knowledgeable(it hardly ever happens at Sonoma/Napa wineries). I fell in love with their LATEHARVESTRIESLING!
