Yep — this is the real deal. Karin & Justin connect the earth with the sky and the grapes they grow in between seal the deal. Just opened a bottle of the 2009 chard and it is fantastic — all honey and flowers, full, rich and lush. My husband just said to me «we have a pile of Garden Creek downstairs.» Well I just couldn’t be happier.

Justin and his wife were amazing! I loved the whole concept behind the tasting experience. I truly felt like part of the family while I was being hosted in the barrel room. Cozy and intimate! Only difficult thing about this place was finding it!

The Garden Creek Vineyards Chardonnay and Terra Sonoma Chardonnay are wonderful wines. The tasting room is by appointment only. Arrange a visit through a private tour driver.

Nice wines, excellent and unique tasting experience. A little slow on filling orders, but with a small family operation patience is a virtue.

Can’t say more than what already was said by the other 2 reviewers. I endorse whole-heartedly what they have said. Incredibly wonderful wine, the true craft artisan experience. Totally focused on quality and it shows.

Winemaker Justin Miller, his beautiful wife, two kids, a dog, and some goats are the hosts at this tiny winery located on several hundred spectacular acres in Alexander Valley. They farm completely organic and sell almost all of their grapes to some of the top wineries in Sonoma & Napa Valley. But, they hold-back a few blocks and produce a VERY limited amount of two of the best, handmade, American wines you’ll ever quaff(a mineral-rich, French style Chardonnay and a Cabernet blend they call Tessarae). Appointments are essential — it’s just the two of them — and they’ve recently had to start an allocation program for their limited production. If you want to experience the ‘other’ side of wine country, this is the polar opposite of massive corporate farming, chemistry, profit-oriented production, and dizzying tasting room flash. Check it out. The setting is peaceful and rustic, the wines are perfectly simple and balanced, and you’ll feel a million miles away from the crowds.
