I am always looking for a quaint coffee shop to enjoy, whether it be on my way to work or somewhere to sit and relax– Churn has a great atmosphere for spending some down, but I was disappointed with the service I had on a Saturday morning. There were only two other customers in the store when I was and it took over 10 minutes to even order my drink. There was a gentleman behind me in line who left without ordering, disgruntled for the same reason. Despite being a weekend, I was on my way to work and was just wanting a coffee for the road. When I was eventually waited on and served, my drink — a vanilla latte– was good, wish it would have been hotter though. Overall it seems to be fairly priced. General thoughts– Not so ideal for a quick coffee stop on a morning commute, but would like to return to enjoy the atmosphere.

I’ve stopped here a few times and it is starting to get very busy! If you’re just looking for ice cream what they lack in variety of flavored they make up for in varieties of ways you can have it(tons of different toppings for sundaes, shakes, floats, splits etc). Plus house-made waffle cones and bowls! What sets them apart is their coffee and pastry menu. This is the only place I know of locally that offers so much choice in these areas. Downsides are that they should hire more staff to keep up with demand. The wait last night was long and that put some folks off. The dining area is also on the small side. Maybe an expansion will be warranted in the future.

Amazing ice cream, customer service has been great all times I have stopped in. Their chai is very good! Cute little coffee shop.

So cute. The ideal coffee shop. They have a huge selection of specialty drinks. Fraps, mochas, lattes, hot chocolate and regular coffee! So many flavors they can add to it. They also have a small selection of baked goods in the morning which looked appetizing. They serve ice cream all day which looked awesome as well. I got a hot chocolate with coffee, delicious. The girl recommended it for my first time in the shop. I also thought the service was great and deserves credit. I am very lucky this is on my commute to work!

Didn’t get the order right after telling him specifically what we wanted and he asked several times what we wanted

This is an awesome addition to a strip of road that has very few non-chain(aka incredibly average) establishments of any kind! Their coffee/coffee drinks and their ice creams are all incredible. I loved the Rice Krispie Treat ice cream– a very unique, but tasty flavor and the texture of their HOMEMADE ice cream is super smooth. I disagree that portions are small(said above) unless you are used to oversized portions. For the price, it was quite expected and it was quality over quantity. My husband went with the frozen hot chocolate, which was absolutely amazing. Our second visit was for coffee drinks and we loved both the peppermint mocha(am I allowed to say it was just as tasty, if not tastier than THEE peppermint mocha we all know) and the white chocolate. My mom is a very plain, but very committed coffee drinker, and the regular roast that we picked up for her was«the best cup of coffee» she had in ages. The spot is quaint and the workers are incredibly friendly and helpful in describing product and offering samples. In other words, you should visit to help sustain an awesome independently– owned local spot that is located in a sea of boring chains that you can find anywhere!

Very cute place and extremely clean however they had no customer service when I was there. Two people were working and three individuals were waiting in line, no one acknowledged their presence. It was painful to observe. Our coffee is excellent however a few items we requested on there menu they did not have. They have great potential but they have to improve customer service.

I have to admit, I am a little bit obsessed with this place. I have been waiting SO long for another coffee shop to come in the area, and as soon as I heard Churn was going to be opening I was SO happy. I would check every day as I drove by if they were open, and finally they were! I honestly couldn’t wait to stop in and check out their coffee and ice creams. First off lets just admire how cute and cozy it is in here. Super nice copper tiled ceiling with plenty of cozy seats for you to sit and enjoy whatever it is you are having. I loved everything about the set up! The wall behind the counter is chalkboard and is where they put all their goodies you can try. Now on to the better part! I stopped here to try out their handmade ice cream and I was honestly overwhelmed with all the options. Pumpkin, Nuttella Banana, Brownie, and more. So after looking at all these delicious flavors, I checked out the back board to discover you could honestly get ANYTHING you wanted. So many different flavored milkshakes, build your own sunda’s, anything! How do I even pick?! I somehow settled on a Nutella Oreo milkshake with their homemade whipped cream and I couldn’t be more happy! I also added an espresso shot which really woke me up to go back to work. Seriously was soooooo yummy! Fast forward to this morning and I had to stop and try their regular coffee. You can add whatever flavor combinations to your coffee that you want too! Seriously, its like choice overload — not EVER a bad thing. I got a coconut mocha latte with homemade CHOCOLATE, yes chocolate whipped cream! Again, to die for. Seriously, hands down amazing! They also have cupcakes, brownies, and small snacks you can order along with bottled drinks. Seriously cover everything! Bottom line — just go here and you WILLNOT be dissapointed!
