McDonald’s

let me start by saying. "Customers pay for your living!!! W/O US you don't have a job..." Now on my visit 10/30/21 at 7:36pm I got what I call very poor service. This McDonalds needs a bit of customer service help. There is a flyer out for Buy one get the second one FREE. I'm waiting in the drive up for 4-5+min. I say "I have a coupon" teller says what is the code. It is marked 01 for the big Mac. "That has expired and we can't honor that" It says that it's good till 11/21/21 <-- how is that expired??? Rather than argue on their intercom I drove up and was met by the teller/MGR. Both gave me a terrible greeting. Until she read the coupon and all she said " YOU WANT THIS?" No sorry no how much I should pay or my change. The MGR just walked away. ( I felt like get rid of this guy )

This is the worst McDonalds I have been in. The employee’s are not very helpful. I stopped in with my grandsons ordered happy meals, on the menu said the toy was an emojie. I also ordered a small iced coffee. Well the boys received Pink Barretts in their meals. She gave me med iced coffee. When I went back to ask was told they didn’t have the emojies and were all out of the toys for boys. Also they don’t have a small in iced coffee. My question to her was why didn’t you tell me this when I ordered. She didn’t know just can’t help you we only have girl toys left. I’m so done with this mcdonalds will never go back.

Ok. So I understand that it is a fast food joint. But I used to work for McDonald’s (Texas) and I don’t recall it being this mismanaged. The service is rarely pleasant an the food continually disappoints. Why do I keep coming back one may ask. I ask myself this every disappointing time after time. And I believe it’s hope. The hope that the owner has actually taken the time to come here and have a meal so that he/​she may see the disaray his investment is in and fix things.
If you are the owner and you are reading this, please for our community’s sake clean this place up.

Just an all around awful resturaunt. I ordered a Mcchicken and there was a big long black HAIR in it, and when I asked them for a new sandwhiches the girl at the front counter gave me attitude and was extremely rude. Everytime I go to eat here the place is trashed, garbage cans always overflowing, food under the tables, dirty countertops… and when I went to use the restroom there was even feces smeared all over the side of the bathroom stall. Sooo extremely discusting. I was appaled! I would advise people not to eat here, unless you want gross contaminated food and a dirty restaurant expierence. Some one please call the health inspector!!!

OMG, time after time (after time!!!) my drive through order is wrong. It is the same order every single time and it is simple. Cheeseburger extra pickle, small fry & large coke. How can you get this wrong so often??? Nice people, really poor delivery on the brand promise.
Please go to the McDonalds off Sedgwick to see how it is supposed to be done. They are fast, clean, efficient, ACCURATE and friendly. Maybe they can provide you with some spin on the standardized training and QA processes you can’t get right.

Food is always hot and made to order. Coffee is as good as starbucks. Staff seems to have a hard time with consistently fulfilling orders correctly. Always very clean. Parking is hit and miss. For some reason, half the time, half the spaces are blocked for what would appearto be work being done but theres never anyone out there.

Best quality and preparation I have ever seen at a McDonald’s. This location is by far better than most.

I don’t typically stop for fast food but when I do I need it fast. Our food unfortunately took longer due to a re stock. No big deal but the manager totally made up for it. No complaints here. Good customer service.

The last two times I have ordered a plain cheeseburger they have failed to properly fulfill the «plain» part of the order — despite the operator repeating my order to me.
Not going to try for a third, I’ll just go to the one on Olympic.

Very aesthetically pleasing location, one of the few McDonalds that I have seen in a while that had a play place for kids. I personally have a weak spot for the McDonalds double cheeseburger meal, so I visit this location more often than I would like to admit to my bathroom scale. The service team is always pleasant, very very few order errors.

Poor communication. Waited in line for ten mins only to find out they were all out of desert I had ordered. A little heads up would be nice so I could have been home quicker.

All right, let’s work together to get through our pretentiousness about eating fast food and agree that sometimes you just need a beverage and some hot fires… Agreed?

In the PNW there is this thing called rain. It happens every, say, day or so during parts of the year. Not a surprise. Not a recent change in weather. It happens–
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO why ANYONE build a drive thru menu station and pick up windows without a cover over them? Explain this to me?
I got an inch or so of rain just placing my order followed by another two at each stop to pay and get the food.
I did appreciate that the female taking the money toughed it out by having a wet arm to take my cash but the little inept idiot at the food window– my thought is that he is the assistant to the assistant manager actually «faked me out» by keeping the bag and himself totally within the confines of the window so I had to stick my entire body into the restaurant to get my items.
Poor service. Poor service. Poor service…

This is literally one of the worst Mc Donald’s I’ve been too. I mean the food is fine, the location is great, but the service here is so unbelievably bad they should be ashamed.
We have lived in this area for several years now and they mess up the order in the drive-​thru honestly 70−80% of the time. We actually have a running joke now in our family about what will be in out grab bag of food when we receive it. Once it was three Big Macs when we ordered a cheeseburger and a salad. Other times it’s extra cones, sodas, and sometimes they just leave you hanging at the window for five minutes because they forgot you were there. This is honestly no joke, and widely joked about in town. Pathetic really.
If you go here, check your order!!! This is not a joke!
Tonight my wife went in for one of the new cheeseburgers they’re selling and a shake. She pulled to the window and a young kid handed her a shake with no straw then walked away. After literally five minutes another girl came to the counter looking puzzled that someone was waiting and asked what she needed. My wife asked if she could have a straw and after she asked another girl behind the first one piped up and said very rudely «Did she really just pull up for JUST a straw??» My wife heard this and said, «No, I’m also waiting for the rest of our food.» The first kid came back and said «Oh, sorry I forgot.»
I know a lady who used to be a trainer here and she even said this location is well known as a notoriously bad franchise. Why is it so hard to run this place?
I will say they do great things for the schools here where the students take over the location which helps the schools. It’s just too bad they can’t figure out the employees here and make this place better.

For a McDonalds, this place is great! They have a nice location near everything else that we visit in Gig Harbor (Target, Costco, Petco, Home Depot) that has it’s own parking lot separate from the others. They also have a two driveway drive through for those busy nights when you need to get dinner home fast.
It’s always clean enough and the staff are nice. The only time they messed up my order (drive through of course), I walked in and she already had the right item ready to go with no questions asked as she realized her mistake as soon as I pulled away. I appreciate that memory, although it would have been nice before I drove away :) They have a great indoor play place that seems great for the kids (and a nightmare to me). There are plenty of tables in smaller groupings so you don’t feel like one of the herd.

Nice and clean and with quick service. Not much to say about a McDonald’s, but this is one of the nicer locations around. It isn’t the closest to me, but on the rare occasion I want some Micky-D’s, I head here.

I am rating this McDonald’s location versus other locations. It’s great, little kids go crazy for the playground, it’s clean, the staff is courteous and fast, there are two lanes in the drive through. A perfectly executed McDonald’s. If you like going to McDonald’s this is a good one.
