I’ve been here three times which was two too many. The rice is crispy and the spring rolls come out within 2 mins. The food is not fresh. The servers are rude and rushed although the place has been almost empty every time I’ve been. The food is bland as well. I went back because I read they already had new owners. Unfortunately, it’s even worse than before. Save yourself the time and head of over to Lele’s by the Galaxy Theatre… it’s right across the parking lot. Way better food and service IMO

New owners… Miss the old staff and the soup isn’t what it used to be. The place is dead now.

Phở is really bland. Server didn’t know difference between the kids phở and a large phở with rare steak and meatball. Server forgot bean sprouts and other fixings even after I asked twice still didn’t get them. Took 20 minutes to get a bubble tea. In fact the food beat the bubble tea out. Only good thing here was the price. Overall this was a highly disappointing experience.

Some really hot stuff for just $ 10. Although service took some time, they seemed busy and it felt like each bowl was prepared separately with love(and spice). Definitely a delish lunch and worth it if you’re craving some Vietnamese in Gig Harbor!

Phở tastes like the broth was made with chicken bouillon instead of the beef bones & herbs! You can be tripped by the curled up floor covering! watch out! Service was OK! This place needs a real Phở Chef!

Wow!!! So. We came in and it was pretty dead in here. The servers were attentive, that was the only good part of the experience. Otherwise I’d be a 0 star if that was an option. The food was bland and just simple teriyaki style. Not worth the price we paid. I ordered a small bowl of broth for my baby and she brought a huge bowl and charged $ 2. We didn’t even touch it… Then I ordered a spring roll without ham and she said they were out of rice wrap. The funny part about that thou, is that there was one more person that came in and ordered 2 spring rolls. And guess what?! They magically had the rice wrap! I wouldn’t recommend this place. Dishonest and lazy owner in the kitchen.

First time here, worth the trip. Best phở I’ve had in a long time. Gyoza & fried roll was excellent. Vietnamese sandwich was great too. The smells that greeted us were mesmerizing. Staff are very friendly. We’ll be back. Thanks!

This place is awesome! We love eating here. The sandwiches are excellent and the phở is good. Its priced well, it’s close to home, food is good and so is the service. It’s also the only thing my son will eat at the moment.

Nope… not even close. Let me back up. We went in for lunch for some phở. I can’t say how the other menu items looked/tasted, but the phở tasted like broth from a bouillon cube. It was clear. I’m far from a phở expert, but can say with certainty it’s all in the broth. This is where they fell short. Noodles, chicken and beef were fine, but didn’t compensate for the watered down soup. Disappointed.

If you like Phở, this is a very good place. I have to agree with other reviews here in saying don’t forget to explore the menu. Try the pork sandwich. It is delicious!

Solid phở with a pretty chill, young staff. Quick food and service, and the prices are decent. Only phở joint in town, so we got pretty lucky. Go get your phở on!

I’ll admit, when they first opened, things were not good. The service was so slow! We were phở eva waiting! But now my husband and I like to frequent this place 2 – 3 times a month. Their pork noodle bowls are so good! Great flavor and HUGE portion! The phở is good, pretty typical. I’ve had the fried rice and it needed just a little extra seasoning, but was still good. If you came here when it first opened, give it another try. Also, if you want it to go, just call ahead and then you won’t have to wait.

Though this place seems very much like a chain restaurant from the interior(and it may very well be), the food was not chain restaurant quality. At a cheap price, you get large portions of fresh ingredients in a thoughtfully plated dish that tells one they actually care about their customers. My mother had the chicken noodle bowl, and I had the spicy pork noodle bowl. Though it was saucy, it was not overdone to the point where things were soggy from the chili sauce. Conversely, the grilled chicken was moist without any sauce. Service was fast and friendly. I also had a red bean milk tea with coconut jellies. Perfectly sweet without being overly sugary. Even though I ordered this at the register as a last minute decision, service was still efficient and swift. I’m sure regardless of what you get here, you will not be disappointed.

I have only been here once so far but I was pleased with my meal. I thought it was pretty good and service was really good. I had saved some of my Phở for the next day and it was really good after sitting in its own juices. I will def be trying this place out again! And their boba was so delicious too! I know for sure I will be stopping in for more of that in the near future. Thanks.

This place is beyond decent. My husband and brother and I stopped by for lunch today, and ordered the fresh Summer rolls, the calamari, a pork, chicken and shrimp noodle bowl and beef phở. The beef broth tastes very clean… I didn’t leave smelling of phở, or feeling it in my pores after I left, which is a huge plus because that’s the usual reason why I refrain from ordering the soup all together, but I’ve been eating for two lately, and baby liked! The calamari was served with French fries, which I thought was odd, but it was tasty all the same. The noodle bowl was huge! I asked them to put in some egg rolls too, which they did with no eye rolls, which brings me to my final point… A place with great food can be spoiled with terrible service, and the two members of staff who were on the floor today were great. They brought me my extra limes, extra peanut sauce and fish sauce… Extra tartar sauce for my husband… Offered us wooden chopsticks –it’s the little things, and they were fantastic! Coming back soon!

Expensive for what you get. They submerged chicken in teriyaki, which would have thrown a diabetic into a coma. Slaw tasted like tangy crap that was unappetizing. I was hungry so I dealt with it… Like a prison meal.

Our new place for grilled chicken dishes in uptown! As long as you come to expect prices to be high for uptown places then you’ll never be shocked and the same is for here. Good size portions and plenty of condiments for flavor, they will make the spice level to your specification. Fast service and friendly staff make this a great addition to uptown.

Clean. ingredients were fresh Phở broth was light and not salty fresh veggies and tofu was done nice. Great spring rolls and the fried egg roll was one of the best I have ever had fresh light and not greasy. Pork salad bowl was good fish sauce was fairly salty though. Our only complaint was the hot tea was barely warm:(HOT tea should be HOTTTT! Not almost cold If you like Phở give them a try my husband liked that they asked if he wanted veggie broth or beef with his Phở

Ok, we are Phở lovers, who eat Phở EVERY day from Tacoma, Kent, Silverdale, etc, etc. So we were dellighted when we saw this new restr. start up. Here is our observations : PROS: Very clean and comfortable(IT’S NEW) CONS; 1. 2 bowls of Phở…20 min. wait time 2. beef meat was very very tuff!!!(traditional phở is sliced very thin) 3. Horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE juice(Anisset taste was over the top! 4. Limited Parking(only 2 – 3 out front, sharing with Jersey Subs and Bank parking was full(11am, before lunch time) I can’t comment on the whole menu, as we only tried their version of PHOUGGGH!

I’ll admit I’m a bit of a Viet Namese food snob. With a Viet Namese husband, I come by it honestly, though. First trip, now place in the Harbor. We ordered(waiter wasn’t sure what Café Sua was, which is a bit odd, since it is on the menu). Phở came first. Broth is good and it was meaty. Hoisin sauce had an odd taste. That’s a little strange as the bottled store-bought is just fine. The goyza were good. We got them with a spring roll, which was OK. Not spectacular, it was OK. The Bahn Mi came. The pork was good, but the roll, a critical element in good Bahn Mi was a real disappointment. Was like a sub roll. I’ve made a previous rant about Bahn Mi rolls, but essentially they should have a crispy crust and a soft but dense inner. This was not. Just as we were about to finish the Café Sua arrived. It was pretty good. There was a little hint of a new flavor to me(my other half thought it was«grass jelly»). Different and nice. We’ll return if they keep the quality up… and get some decent hoisin.
