Placed an order via phone show up and they had given my order to someone else so I stand around and wait for a new order no discount offered just stand here, and watch as they messed up another to go order. Mind you place is empty basically. Get food home and it’s basically cold. Giving two stars because after heating whole thing up my husband said meatball sub was good. Pasta was mediocre for the price.

If I could do less than one star, I would have. I hosted a baby shower in the private dining room and it was soooo frustrating. I worked here ages ago and know how the restaurant works, or used to work? Our party was in the room back by the bar. To be fair, we exceeded our anticipated number of guests, but not by that much. There were lots of ladies talking so naturally it was kind of loud. There was only ONE other table of guests and they sat them right next to our party. No surprise, they complained we were to loud. The waitress found me and told me we were too loud and wanted to close the wall up. I asked why didn’t they seat the other people on the other side of the restaurant that is completely empty and quite. Her response, we just don’t do that on Saturday. WTF? I had to ask to speak to the manager, he totally understood and said they would seat people over there moving forward… why did I need to tell them that? Once the food was served there wasn’t any serving utensils for like 10 minutes. I had to go hunt them down. All of my guests just got to sit there and look at the buffet. The best, and by best I mean worst, part was nobody was bussing the tables. The dishes were piling up and a family member finally went back to the kitchen and got a bus bin. Back there was the waitress, crying. According to the waitress my cousin DEMANDED that she and she alone bus the tables because it was her family. Right… even if that was the case, and it is not even remotely true, the waitress should have grabbed a bin and got to work out there. Ugh! The food was good but the service was horrible and it saddens me that I no longer feel comfortable recommending a restaurant that was such a big part of my high school years. It’s a shame :(

Stopped here to grab dinner on our way to Port Angeles with 4 adults and 2 kids. There were several people waiting to eat, so we figured it would be decent. WRONG! The food was lackluster and plain. I ordered a spinach bacon salad. The bacon was completely missing and the spinach was drowning in the dressing. My tablemates all reported similar experiences with their meals. The 9 year old stated that he would have preferred the flavor of a Subway meatball sub over the one he got here. The ravioli was the same quality as something you could purchase in the frozen food section at Costco, not bad, but not worth ordering when you could make it yourself. On top of that, they were dry from either being undercooked or old. The chicken alfredo casserole was described as extremely plain, with the exception of over-powering explosions of artichoke hearts that varied from bite to bite. And the special was what could be only be described as pasta with a dash of lemon pepper and a small handful of bay shrimp. Our server was nice enough, but the hostess was rude. Wouldn’t really recommend this place to anyone.

First time here in 4 years! Pizza and Salad were very tasty and the service was outstanding! Our waitress, Stacie, was very courteous and hospitable. We had a tired two year old with us, and sometimes waitresses don’t like that, but our waitress made it a very pleasant experience.

Service is amazing. The clam chowder is a must it’s delicious! I chose the Red and White Spaghetti the house favorite and I can see why. Another must try! This place out ranks the one on Purdy 3 fold!

Our waitress was very sweet but very informative. There were nothing but entitled teenagers working the front that told me that she didn’t need me in her face when I was inquiring about table space for twelve. Where was the adult to help handle this pressure with regular customers and homecoming reservations. Not thought out very well at all.

I had lunch there yesterday. Ordered the Grinder sandwich. The flavor was o.k. but the sandwich was so small. For $ 10 dollars I left hungry and went down the street for Nacho, s

My wife and I stopped here late on a Sunday on Labor Day weekend. They were closing but allowed us to order anyway. We had pizza and salads and everything was outstanding. Very nice staff and very good food. We made a substitution n the pizza and there was no extra charge or push back. We will be back. Very nice place.

well I have ordered take out many times in the past from Spiros and my experience had always been average. This time however was very different. For starters«Stacy» over the phone and at the counter was fantastic! I ordered the Mozzarella cheese bread with extra cheese and the small chop-chop salad. She was wonderful over the phone and even better in person upon picking up my take-out! this is the first time my order was PERFECT ! the food was perfect and the service was fantastic. She even made sure my order was exactly as I ordered it. Ever get home or back to work and something is missing or opposite to what you asked for? Not here and she even made sure that she separated the hot container from the cold container with a thick layer of napkins! The details and service was enthusiastic and extremely thorough. I will be back very soon… What a wonderful experience!

Not a fair review because we did not stay — left after 10 minutes since we were dying from the heat. What do you do on a real hot day — you go out to dinner for a great meal and a cool restaurant. We have eaten at Spiro’s in Port Orchard and it always was decent but in Gig Harbor — they do not have air conditioning.

Worst pizza I have ever eaten. The cheese is one huge solidified block. The cheese slides right off the pizza in one piece. The crust is extremely bland. It’s very pricey for how bad the quality is. Save your money and get a 7 $ take out pizza from dominos… It blows this place out of the water.

We are new to Gig Harbor and have been meaning to try Spiros so we can see how the pizza is. My husband and I ordered a large pizza today. The taste was ok. But this pizza was 22 $ and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I went to lift a piece up and the entire block of cheese on the top slid right off along with the toppings. It tasted like string cheese was simply just melted over the top of the pizza and it was a gigantic brick. The crust had no flavor or texture. The toppings are underneath the cheese which I’m not a fan of. I did like the sauce — if they can figure out a better cheese to use that isn’t thick like a brick and all solidified in one piece then I could give this pizza another go. I was really really really hoping to like their pizza. It’s in a perfect location and great for a date night. Also, for a large pizza it’s extremely overpriced. 22 $ is a lot in general for a pizza. But I usually don’t mind as long as the pizza is delicious. For a large pizza it was not very big. I even commented to the hostess«this is a large?» I want to give their other food a chance and hope it’s better than their pizza.

I have lived in the Gig Harbor area for the last 15 years. Spiro’s was never my favorite place but the last time I went there will be the last. The salads are lacking, the breadsticks come from costco, they are the worst, and the pasta my sister and i shared was awful. The place is ran by a bunch or high school kids who don’t seem to know what they are doing

It’s really sad how far downhill Spiro’s has gone in the past few years. I used to work here, so I know it’s never been 5-star cuisine or anything like that and I know every establishment has its flaws or whatever… but I have to say that our dining experience last Friday night was so bad that it will be the FINAL time I step foot through the doors of this place. To start, there was no one at the host desk when we walked in, and everyone is so casually dressed that you can’t tell who is an employee or not. Continuing on attire, two of the bussers came out to our section to clear a table and they were both wearing baggy basketball shorts. Yes, because your underwear is what I want to see before I eat my dinner. Another employee(3rd hostess?) came out to seat another group after us and her dress was so short that when she leaned across the table to hand them their menus, we definitely saw up her skirt. Thanks for that. There was obviously no manager or supervisor on duty which is unlike Spiro’s for what should have been a busy Friday night. Since the numerous hostesses weren’t busy, they could have brought us water and taken drink orders since it took our waiter a while to get to us… but they were too busy flirting with the baggy bottom boys in the back, I’m sure. Maybe that was them I heard screaming and yelling from my table. Lovely ambiance. Our drinks took surprisingly very long for being two sodas. My minestrone soup was horrible — tasted so old and reheated. Usually that’s my favorite thing at Spiro’s. My husband got a small Caesar salad and it was so doused in dressing that it was giving him goosebumps when he ate it. Gross. Our appetizers were ok but when the food came it was bad news again. My spaghetti white was dress and lacking cheese. My husband’s chicken parm pasta was also dry and he said the marinara tasted strange so he was unable to finish it. I’m guessing my brother’s pizza was OK because I didn’t hear anything about it. Our drinks sat empty for a long time, our waiter never checked on us to see how our food was and after my husband finally got his refill, I finished my meal still waiting for mine. I’m pretty sure our waiter was high. We asked for a box even though my leftovers are still chilling in the back of my fridge and he brought the boxes to our table to have us box them ourselves! WHAT?! Spiro’s has ALWAYS boxes guest’s food for them… always… Finally I ordered spumoni ice cream because I thought«they order this stuff from a company, they don’t make it which means they can’t mess it up» and it came without a wafer like described on the menu and how I know it to be served. Disappointing. Although at this point, I should have known. We got our check(not on a tray with mints like we used to do) and it was $ 56 for 3 people!!! Are you kidding me? That is so outrageous for the quality of food and experience we had. We paid and quickly left, saying goodbye and good riddance to this dirty and rundown shithole. Side note: I posted a photo of our table’s layer of sticky grime. Our waiter told us it wouldn’t come off when we asked for a wipe down.

Customer service on the phone was terrible, they corrected my english twice. I asked«Could I get the number for the Bremerton Spiros» and I got the respose of «Can you? Can you? I’m sure you can» … Every OTHER Spiro’s I call I get Great customer service. I guess I’ll just go to Port Orchard, Silverdale or West Seattle.

Ate here for the first time in 3 years to try it out. 3 stars is basically just for the gyro that I had that was decent. I’m in the industry so service is a very important part of the meal, especially when we are in for a birthday. The guy serving for us was nice and very respectful, but that was the extent of his serving skills. Cmon dude. You only have 5 tables and can’t remember an extra plate or even ask how the food tastes, or taking 10 minutes for waters. I’m not even mad that they served me cold minestrone soup and the other food was sub par but people need to learn how to serve tables effectively and to pay attention if they expect to make any money in the industry. I’ll come back to visit the bartenders because they are great but I won’t eat with a group again.

Food is ok but not great. The service can be great one day and really bad the next. The menu is not that expansive. The pizza is the middle of the road. I prefer Il Lacano that is behind spiros.
