We’ve come here multiple time for haircuts for my 3 year old daughter and always have a wonderful experience. Yesterday I brought my daughter in for a trim and my 12 month old son for his first haircut. We saw Vicky and she was absolutely amazing! My daughter is always a breeze for a haircut, but this time decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. Vicky did a great job and didn’t make me feel crazy for having her redo the dots on my daughters ears(the mark for where the piercing will go) 20 times. They made my daughter feel special and she said it didn’t hurt at all! My son squirmed and cried for most of his cut– I have no idea how she did it, but Vicky gave him a perfect, even cut! He looks so handsome! Definitely recommend Snip-It’s, and especially Vicky!

Went on Sunday 30mins of wait time, the hair stylist did a horrible job. had one side of my sons head literally bald. The cut was uneven when I mentioned to make it better she said that’s what the note says I need to comb better then it would be fine. Was very unhappy with the service.

I brought my daughter here for her first haircut today. The staff was friendly, and Melanie did such a wonderful job! She made our experience comfortable and fun. She even offered to place my daughter’s little locks in a baggie as a keepsake. This was a sweet touch and a very pleasant surprise. We will be back, and I highly recommend this location.

The staff is amazingly professional. I was searching for a place to take my 3 ½ year old son who is on the Autism Spectrum and he really struggles with having his hair cut. I contacted the manager Vicky and she told us we could come in and check the place out and stay as long as we wanted. She let my son touch the clippers and spray bottle and just let him explore the salon. The next day we came back in to give my son more familiarity with the place and Jessica was the stylist we signed up with. We did not expect to get a haircut that day because I wasn’t sure my son would be ready. Much to my surprise he climbed up into her chair. Jessica’s patience and support went above and beyond the call of duty. She followed my lead for how to best handle my son’s needs and he had his very first«no tears» haircut since he was a baby. She spent about an hour with us and went at his pace so he felt comfortable. I can’t say enough about the folks at this salon. They have truly made a really difficult task a lot easier for my family. A million x thank you to Vicky & Jessica and the entire staff. We highly recommend them and we will definitely be back!

My son loves getting his hair cut here. Michaela does a great job! Saturday afternoon was a smart time to go. They had a lot of staff and we didn’t have to wait long.

Love taking my girls here! They always do such a great job! They always ask to go to «snips» and love getting the glitter and scents in their hair.

We always come here. It’s a great quality cut in a fun atmosphere. I would rate it 5 stars if they’d allow appointments. The wait can be ridiculous.

The GOOD: My son loves coming in for his haircut here because he gets to play video games; I’m always happy with the results and the stylists are nice. The Not-So-GOOD: The wait times can be absolutely unbearable and far too crowded in the small waiting area. Another location should be added close by, or additional stylists should be available on busy days if you want to retain customers.

I just took my 2 year old son in for his first hair cut. When we first got there he noticed the Brio train set and was immediately in heaven. We could have been waiting for an hour and he would have been happy(Frozen was playing on the TV but he didn’t notice). There were only a couple people ahead of us so we were called up relatively quickly. Maybe 15 – 20 mins. Since it was his first time getting his hair cut professionally he was a bit wigged out and super squirmy. Our stylist was fantastic and tried to do everything possible to make him happy. The water bottle ended up doing the trick. He ended up soaking his face, but she was able to finish his haircut without him thrashing around. They are well prepared for kiddos: they have TVs set up at each station, bubbles, and candy, too. Such a great experience for his first real haircut. Super nice staff, too! I would definitely recommend them!

When you go in, ask for Vicky. I believe she is the manager. She is outstanding with kids! She has cut my son’s hair a few times, and he doesn’t sit still for long. He always leaves happy and looking good.

I took my two year old for a haircut and was told it was a ten minute wait. Turns out it was closer to 30−45mins. The frustrating part is that the lady who said the wait was ten minutes went on break. It would seem to me that she would know if she was going on break and there was only one other employee working, that the wait would be longer. Especially since she was the one who would be cutting my daughter’s hair. As for the haircut itself, my daughter doesn’t require much. She’s two, has bangs and whispy longer hair in the back. The bangs are slightly crooked. The total time spent on the haircut was five mins. The price of a haircut is $ 17.95. Luckily since I was a first time costumer I was able to use a coupon and save five t. Overall I was not impressed. I could have done the cut myself and done a better job. The plus side was that my daughter enjoyed the fun décor and train table. Update: I tried again to get my daughter a haircut at Snip-It’s. I went in and put my name on the list. I was told a half hour. A half hour came and went so I asked where we were at. The lady said seven kids were ahead of us. Here’s the problem… you can put your name on the list and leave. Then When you come back you’re magically at the top of the list. This is infuriating for the people who actually wait there. The customer service is awful and the haircuts are mediocre at best. I will not be going back, and I will tell all of friends how bad they are.

Worst experience ever! Took my one year old to get his first haircut. I called ahead of time and talked to someone one the phone and asked if they had open appointments and they said no, they were walk in only. We sat for 40 minutes and watched two others that walked in after us and I finally went to the counter as asked what the heck was going on. The girl at the counter said they called in ahead of time. Are you kidding me! Train your staff for consistencies. When someone calls then tell them they need to put their name on a list so they«get in line» before coming. Also found it amusing that the girl at the counter was doing nothing but standing by the phone and she was very quick to say that she was defiantly not the one to answer the phone. Not only is the place overpriced, they need to clean their floor and seats. Hair all over the place. Will not recommend this place to anyone and will never go back!

Colorful décor, cartoons and kid jams playing and enthusiastic workers. We went here for the first time on a Tuesday at 10:30 and there was no wait. Savannah, the lovely woman who cut my 2-yr-old son’s hair was friendly, gentle and wonderful with him and asked questions to ensure that the haircut was what we envisioned. His hair consists of very tight, condensed curls and she hand-sheared all but the buzz around the edges. To be honest, the final product was not what we were hoping for(wanted slightly longer on the top than back and sides and ended up super short all around and uneven edging) but the customer service was wonderful. Luckily, our kiddo’s hair grows quite fast. Unlike Cool Cuts for kids, there are basic chairs instead of trains/trucks, etc. but they have a buckle for the young kiddos. There is a Snip Its made cartoon video that plays at each station. It was pretty challenging to see and I may bring our iPad for a distraction video next time. Each child is given a card to cash in after their cut for a small prize(we got a sticky slap hand). There is also a train table for kids to play on while you wait. We used a 1st timer coupon-found on the website-for a $ 12 cut and on our receipt was another coupon for our next cut. You are able to tip when you sign the receipt. We found the prices reasonable, the workers friendly and great with kids and the shop clean and kid-tastic. Unfortunately, hubby took one look at our son’s hair when we got home and said we won’t be back. If your child does not have super curly or ethnic hair, this place may be a better fit for you.

This place is great! I’ve been taking my son here for about 3 months, the girl who was doing his hair left and I had one bad experience with a new person. The next time I came in they took care of me right away and gave me a discount for the last experience I had. They really care about u and your kids, I totally recommend this place!

First time here and I was impressed. The décor is great. My 2 year old enjoyed the train table during a 10 minute wait. The stylist was patient was my son who is not a huge fan of getting his hair cut. We will be back.

We had a great experience at Snip it’s for our son’s first haircut. We knew he would not like having his hair cut, but his stylist was so efficient she was done in 5 minutes. She was extremely patient and tried her best to keep him happy! Overall we’ll be back because it caters so well to kids.

The normal place we go for children’s haircuts closed and this was closer. Overall the atmosphere is veer o d friendly. Each kid gets a little prize when their hair cut is over. My oldest had a mild melt down thinking the scissors would hurt him and the ladies agreed to cut his with magic instead. They were very sweet. The reason they don’t get a five star review is the wait! It is a total crap shoot on wait time because for some crazy reason they won’t make appointments. You never know how long you’ll end up waiting and that can be very frustrating.

I watched my 1 year old nephew have a fabulous experience here. They have a 1st Haircut package that includes a photo! He sat in a bumbo and the experience was positive. There’s also a train table in the waiting area.
