Outstanding pizza!!! Fresh ingredients, great sauce and amazing dough. I’ve tried the supreme vegetable pizza which was amazing, tons of veggies. They don’t hold back at all. Also had the pepperoni, cheese and mushroom. It was delicious. Can’t wait to try other stuff on their menu.

I’m not sure why all the hate. We went to #2 first but it’s carry out only now. Decided to come over here and take a risk. Everyone was attentive, patient and polite. They seem to have quite a lot of regulars. The crust was perfect, the sauce was sweet but not over the top, the pricing is phenomenal. You can’t go wrong here. Every time I pass through Gilroy I will be making the stop.

After 40 years of passing by we decided to stop at Pinocchio’s pizza in Gilroy. Very limited seating but I noticed the majority is pick up and go. Cashier was very friendly greeted us with a big smile. Pizza was prepared rather quickly and we got to watch the cook throw the dough in the air. They do live up to the name hand tossed pizzas. Garlic bread had tremendous amount of flavor and the pizza was pretty good. Good job Pinocchio’s pizza keep it up and we will be back. PS… after you eat the garlic bread you’re going to smell like garlic.

Pizza itself is okay. Customer service leaves much to be desired. I wouldn’t return unless all other pizzas in the city closed down.

Went to Pinocchios pizza #1 on church for the first time tonight with my wife, my 4 year old son and my 11 month old daughter. Ordered 50 dollars worth of food and sat at one of the tables in the restaurant waiting for our food. My daughter pulled three napkins out of the holder and was playing with them tearing them apart when a man, the owner came up and grabbed the napkin dispenser and told us that he was taking the napkins off the table so we dont waste them. I told him that we just spent 50 dollars and he wanted to complain about three napkins. I told him that that was poor customer service and his wife replied that they had been there for 25 years and it was disrespectful to waste the napkins. After receiving my food I told them that this was our first time to this restaurant and it will be our last. This restaurant is a non kid friendly establishment and should not be patronized by families with kids or anyone else for that matter. I am a 41 year old man and for my family and I to be treated this way when we are spending our hard earned money at a restaurant we should be treated with a lot more respect. Please do not patronize this business, we sure wont.

I moved to Gilroy in April and saw Pinocchio’s Pizza. We don’t have one in San Jose. I finally got around to trying it tonight. I went to #1 on Church St. Vicky was behind the counter and patiently answered all my silly questions for a first timer. We talked while I waited for the pizza. She is wonderful and friendly. I don’t understand the negative reviews about her. The pizza was delicious. I will be back Vicky. Thank you! Leigh

This was good pizza, we were shocked. The crust isn’t good, but there is no pizza on the west coast that can do crust like the northeast. This pizza had good cheese and sauce and they did their best with the crust. We didn’t experience any of the soggy-ness noted in other reviews.

Unbelievable!!! They made the wrong order for me and didn’t either fix it or refunded me. The fat lady and the teenage girl both said because I had paid with my debit card(ATM) they could not undo the transaction. Then I asked for something else and they told me I was out of luck. When I asked for the wrong order back — to take to my dogs — they said I had been thrown in the garbage and they would not retrieve it. REALLY??? Stay away!

I don’t get it. The Pinocchio’s on Monterey Street is probably the best pizza I have had in the Bay and this place is the worst. Over sauced mushy crust, didn’t seem hot, and missing toppings. Made the mistake of ordering here because the Pinocchio’s on Monterey is closed on Sunday.

One star because I called 20 minutes before closing and no one answered, why are you going to state that you close at 8 if no one answers the phone to place an order, bad customer service no customer appreciation, not only that but when they answered the phone they left it on so when I would call, it would be a busy line, lost a faithful customer today, not happy this is pathetic what business does this, you close at 8 not 7:39

Real solid pie!!. East coast thin crust with a good tear, nice tangy sauce, fresh toppings. The veggie supreme is great! It’s not cheap/it’s what good pizza costs. If you know pizza, pinocchios is your place in the ‘Roy.(my friend works at a different pizza place and even he agrees). Wow, I sound like a commercial! Wanted pizza for our group, but it’s Monday AND Labor Day, so they’re REALLY closed… Oh, so sad.

Last time I visited they only had one slice of pizza and refused to make more. The lady was extremely rude and pretty much told us to buy a large pizza or go f*ck ourselves.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. I love pizza and have tried every place in the area, other states, along with other countries.(Not Italy though) This pizza beats all others by far. The crust, sauce and seasoning make the delicious flavor! They have a huge list of toppings to choose from. The stromboli with light mustard and the cannolis are very yummy! Also, this is a family run business and they are all very friendly and greet you. It’s kind of like the lyrics to Cheers: Sometimes you want to go — where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came.

This Pinocchios Pizza has taken a Nose Dive for many Years. Cheapened the crust to cut the quality and portions on the pizza (Me thinks Sals new business partners might have had something to do with that) Good Luck Sal with the new business location maybe you can use some other name on your business and not confuse the public with the Good Pinocchios Pizza down the road. ! Had been a customer of Pinocchio’s # 1 for 41 years Sal I wish you and your new business partners the best ! Return to the Original Family Recipe !

Not sure what happened to Pinocchio’s, they moved and the pizza has moved to… in the wrong direction. I received my large combo, but it was lacking in cheese and worse of all the bottom of the crust was absolutely soggy and flabby! Ugh! Like it had steamed for a good while. Needless to say my search goes on for the pizza of my dreams.
