THISPLACEISHELLACLOSED! What’s most upsetting is this is my 2nd attempt trying to find this place and finally when I found it, it’s closed! Gawd and no one made an effort to note changes.

They changed owners here. I had noticed a while back that the establishment was closed for ‘remodeling’ but had no idea there was a new owner. I found out the other day because usually, as soon as I would walk in, the owner would place my order and have my drink started… and let me use the indoor restroom if I needed :) This day it didn’t happen. It was a different person, she was pleasant, offered me a menu(!?!) hmmm, not normal. The menu is smaller, but I ordered my regular popcorn chicken and slushy. The slushy was chunky with a lot of pieces of ice and the chicken batter was too heavy and didn’t have that salty goodness with a hit of MSG. I’m sad, I’ll try it again, hope they can tweak a few things.

Friendly service with great drinks. Closed on mondays. They have a restroom but it’s in the back. They except cards but only with a 5 $min

I usually get the milk teas – taro milk tea or the jasmine green milk tea is my usual order. A bonus is that the jasmine green milk tea is a daily special for less money than off the regular menu. We saw that they have a food menu, too, so we tried out a couple items. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and my husband ordered mapo tofu, even though it wasn’t on the menu board. The chef said she would go ahead and order it special for my husband. Given that it’s supposed to be a Taiwanese chain, we figured that Chinese food would be safe to order, while I ordered the Japanese dish that is pretty easy to make, another safe dish. I noticed that the chef’s accented English sounded Vietnamese, although I wasn’t sure. Southeast Asian for sure, though. The only reason why I mention this is because when we got our orders, my Japanese dish tasted very different, and the mapo tofu didn’t taste at all like what you would get at a Chinese restaurant. Instead of a sweeter sauce, the chicken teriyaki was peppery, more savory. I liked the taste. I’m not complaining that the dish isn’t tasty, but it wasn’t what I was expecting since it didn’t taste like teriyaki. The mapo tofu was soupy and more like a brown gravy in a bowl. I am wondering if this is the Vietnamese-Chinese version of mapo tofu. After all, my husband did order off the menu and asked her to make it like she would eat it. I didn’t like the mapo tofu as much because it wasn’t very spicy, and we requested it to be made spicy. She gave us Sriracha packets to spice it up, but you really need to cook the spice into the food rather than throw Sriracha on top. The way she made the mapo tofu, I would have rather had noodles with the tofu than put it over rice. The sauce was really watery. Again, I’m not saying it wasn’t tasty. It just wasn’t what we were expecting. The lady who took our order looked like she was still training because she was having a hard time with the computerized register. There was a recent change in ownership, so they did not have the credit card machine up and running yet. So we had to dig out our cash to pay. Luckily, we had enough cash. Service is a bit slow, but I’m sure it will speed up as they learn the ropes. For the food, I’d give it only 3 stars, but I love their milk teas. Plus, they are one of the only Asian options in the area, so I give it 4 stars total.

Quickly is probably my favorite boba place, so when I saw that there was one in Gilroy, I just had to check it out. The drinks were very good, as per usual. The service was kind of sub-par, though. We were standing in front of the register, ready to order, when the only other people in the place, who were standing to the side, were attended to first. Um, hello, we’re RIGHTINFRONTOFTHEREGISTER. So that was kind of rude. Also, they had signs saying they accept Visa and MasterCard, and even a sign on the cash register itself saying there was a $ 0.45 surcharge for credit card transactions under $ 5… but when we handed them our credit card, they didn’t accept it. Uh, okay, then. Good thing I had some cash on me.

Quick fix for boba in Gilroy. But if you want to order food, be ready to wait for awhile. Food is alright, but there’s definitely something for everyone since their menu is huge!

My friend and I were heading home from San Jose when we suddenly decided to stop in Gilroy for In N Out. I. While pumping gas, we decided it was best for our waist lines if we chose a more healthier option. Thanks to the trusty Unilocal app, it brought us to Quickly. I ordered a large Thai Iced Tea Snow(basically a smoothie). It had great Thai Tea flavor with just the right smooth consistency. The portion size was good for the price. My only gripe was how long it took to get our drink. We waited a good 15 minutes before we finally got them. They offer a huge variety of flavors which makes me wonder if they as well use powder… the only safe bet is Thai Tea it seems. Overall Thoughts Thirst quenching goodness on a hot day

The owners of this place are very friendly. They greet you with a smile, and help explain the menu options when you enter. And help is what everyone needs — There are hundreds of drinks listed on one wall, and pictures of all of the dishes literally surround you. Portions are gargantuan. The chicken fried rice bowl for $ 3.99 can easily feed a family of four. The Thai Milk Tea with«zhen zhu»(tapioca pearls) is great. Just what is needed before/after Gilroy Gardens or the Gilroy outlets. Relieved to see that Quickly products had been tested for the industrial-use plasticizer additives that some companies in Taiwan had been found to be illegally adding to food recently — it’s nice to only have to worry about the calories.

Slush or snow? Slush or snow? Slush or snow? FML, I can never remember which one is which. But let my constant mistake be a lesson to you all searching for a thirst-quenching frozen drink: SLUSH = icy without dairy SNOW = creamy and more finely blended The taro snow tasted a little funky… Not like expired dairy or anything, but not quite right. Maybe it’s just the mix that they use. Get your drink with the popcorn chicken, for sure. Nothing goes better with a cold, sweet drink than hot, crispy, perfectly salted chicken with a hint of spice. When you go, park directly in front, on the side(against the wall) or behind Quickly because the guy working at the market next door nearly had a cow when we parked along the left side facing the damn place. It’s not like they even get any business, I don’t know why it’s such a big deal when I’m doing HIM a favor by making it look like they are. But I digress. Bring cash because there’s a $ 5 minimum on cards!

This aint your typical tea place. Two words, FRIEDEVERYTHING! Their cook is especially adept at taking anything that’s edible and dropping it in batter for some serious deep frying action. From OREOS, TWINKIES to your more traditiona zuchinni and asian little fish, this quickly serves up the best fried foods anywhere. Each item seems to have it’s own batter. The pearl thing is not worth it, waaaaay off in taste and the pearls got soaked in too much sugar. Call ahead to grab and go some munchies before you head to Gilroy Gardens.

This is not your normal Quickly and it has a decent probability of rocking your world. At the very least you can fill up on some artery clogging fried oreos and stare in shock and awe at the huge menu. There are 96 entrees and 20 something rice bowls pictured in mouthwatering detail on the wall. All of this is in addition to a large regular menu of boba, snacks, appetizers, and so on. As an indecisive eater I am not ashamed to admit I have wasted in excess of 20 minutes just looking at the pictures on the wall, trying to decide what food I want inside of me. The lady at the counter is probably one of the nicest, smiliest, Asianest people you will ever meet. It is stupendous. Although the service is not as quick as the name might suggest and the menu tends to have some things that are better than others, you could spend a lifetime and still never order everything.

All-time favorite drinks are the TARO /THAI TEASNOWBUBBLE I love going to this quickly not only do they make their drinks good but the owners are really really nice. They already recognize my bf and I because we would come here at least every weekend. Also, this quickly has a lot of food you can order too. I haven’t got around to try it yet. but alot looks very appealing.

I come here a few times a month for Jasmine or Taro milk tea. The pearls are well cooked, although sometimes I may get a few undercooked ones in the mix. The menu for food and drinks is phenomenal. They have pictures of most of the food all along the walls. The cashier, Katherine, is very very sweet and friendly. The fried twinkies were okay but fried oreos here are a must! Frying them makes the cookie almost cake-like and the white center turns into a glaze. This will induce a sugar coma so it’s definitely something you want to share.

This place is pretty amazing! I was really surprised at their friendly service! You can go on the website and place your order via telephone and then pick it up 10 minutes later. They have tons of boba choices(I didn’t get any but I doubt it tastes different than other Quickly places, right?) and tons of different types of foods: Japanese style something, Vietnamese style something, Chinese foods, desserts, etc. My first time with this place was absolutely amazing! My little brother ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box with extra potsticker and he loved it! He’s had other bento boxes before and he said this was the best he’s had. My mom and I went for the Vietnamese style sandwiches– chicken and beef. And both sandwiches were delicious! I’d love to try their other choices some day.

Friendly service ! Vegetarian friendly ! Love there soy milk drinks and veggie tofu dishes ! Mmmmmmmmmmm. Cheap prices, love it. This place gets better and better with each and every visit and friendly samples, the owners are so cute and always cheery! My son is only 6 years old so he always orders a corn dog(he’s scared to try anything different) while I get my piña colada drink and the owner made extra and put it in a cup for him and when he drank it he said, «Wow this is really good! I’m going to order this every day !» It was cuuute ! They have us both hooked lol.

4 stars for being the only other place that I know of besides the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk that sells deep fried Twinkies and Oreos. Yum! This place is actually a hybrid Asian Restaurant. They sell Chinese food, Vietnamese food, and Asian Bubble Boba Milk Tea or whatever you wanna call it. Get a card stamped everytime you buy a drink. Buy 9, get 1 free. Free WiFi too.

I just relocated to California from Michigan and hadn’t drank bubble tea in many weeks. I drove by this place in Gilroy and had to stop. I was amazed by how large the menu is here. It would take you one drink a day for almost an entire year to try the whole menu!(Maybe that’s pretty standard here, like I said I’m from Michigan and our bubble tea establishments are few and far between, so I’ve never seen variety like this.) My drink was so good I went back the next day. The first time I had a canteloupe milk tea with mango stars and the next time I ordered an almond snow with large tapioca balls. Both drinks were excellent and the counter people were quite friendly(the woman who waited on me the second time didn’t speak great English, but she was still very nice). Prices are pretty standard as far as boba drinks go(about $ 4). I can’t speak for their food as I haven’t tried any yet, but I will definitely be going back to Quickly during my time in Gilroy.
