The chicken teriyaki is consistently delicious and the staff are extremely friendly. If you walk in with a smile on your face you can expect to be greeted by another smile and receive great speedy service. I have been here at least 100 times and have not had a single bad experience. If you want good service and food for affordable pricing then this is the local place to go. Extra special shout out to Emily for being the biggest smile in the building on a regular basis. Good Employees, Good food, Good prices. What else can you ask for?

OK. Probably a 4… but just the idea of Teriyaki, Coffee, and a Texas Hold’em bar should be a permanent 5 star! Weird, but it all works together. I think that cartoon characters should staff the place as a weird Japanese Western theme. Cowboy hats and Sailor Moon. Anyway, the food was great. Coffee was great. Atmosphere was kind of like a old breakfast café with a Vegas poker pit and a speak easy round the back. Just delightful.

Great place to get a bite to eat. Cheap and you get great food. The salad dressing is awesome. and the drinks are good. I recommend this place any day.

The chicken is great sauce even better. Spicy sauce is a go to but will stick to phone orders. The restaurant needs fixing I sit by bar and get leaked on while it rains. The cute ladies always make good small talk. Have a issue with the dirty rude sexual remark saying cooks they have back there. I used enjoy my coors with the cute girls for dinner now afraid I’ll fight the cooks who have knives Not sure what’s worse the cooks or the bums off 99. Wanted to talk to manager one time but manager is not there for dinner so the chicken is still the best by phone not in restaurant sorry girls

For the past 10+years, my entire family and friends have raved about KB teriyaki. We were skeptical when they merged with coffee barn but the food was just that delicious we went with it! Things have been pretty good off and on with the people working there either there very good or horrible but I put up with it for the food! Well now they are getting orders completely wrong and refusing to make it right and the one manager Emily I believe, is the worst person to be representing a business and I’m afraid I have to quit going to this location. There is another location with much better service overall on Sandy Blvd and I will drive out of my way to do business elsewhere! We will no longer rave about this place and will refer people elsewhere! Clean house with your staff and bring customer service back and we might try you’re location again

Chicken Teriyaki Platter is da bomb! My hubby and I go through the drive through and it is perfect every time. The salad dressing is delish and they are consistent with their food and service. I would recommend them to everyone, plus you get a lot for the price!

Teriyaki Chicken bowl is the best! Fast, good and friendly service. Occasionally the chicken is a little dry.

I ate there Thursday night and got really sick. Ended up in hospital with food poisoning. Raw chicken too blame. My husband and 15month old baby ended up in the hospital also. Called then to complain and they didn’t even care or call me back. Will never easy there again.

The Chicken Teriyaki here is outstanding! Loaded with more Chicken than I can possibly eat in one sitting, prices are reasonable and service is about as fast as it can possibly get. Plenty of parking, Video Poker in back and friendly staff make for a very fine place. I will be back often.

What’s not to love its bento bowls with a drive thru we need more of those not just fast food drive-thru. And the girls that work here are so incredibly nice. the food is really really good and it’s really inexpensive I wish they had more of these everywhere. I Drive a half hour just to come here. And they have blueberry lattes what is not to love about this place

Totally serviceable and good teriyaki joint. For about 6 bucks you can get a large rice bowl with plenty of dark meat chicken, and it will come out very quickly. Everyone raves about the salad dressing, but since I can’t qualify iceberg lettuce as a salad, I’ve never tried it. The counter help has always been pleasant and efficient, if sometimes a bit forgetful.

This place was really good. The service at the counter was great! She tries to remember everybody’s name after they order. I got the chicken and noodles and it was very fresh. Cooked to order. This place was pretty busy as they play poker on Friday Nights. I’ll be back!!!

I love this place! I’ve been going since they were Dus grill. Good prices, fair service, delicious food. I recently took off a start because their chicken can be a little dry pretty consistently, which is a bummer. Other than that no complaints!

I love this teriyaki place. I have only gotten take out from here. I love that they have a drive thru so I don’t have to get out of my car! :) it sometimes can take a while but it isn’t fast food so I understand. I usually get the chicken teriyaki platter with the salad. It is always delicious. You get a lot of food for your money.

When I showed them my Unilocal 10%-off, the person that the cashier asked for help said they were trying to stop the Unilocal offer, but to honor it. It seemed slightly unprofessional to mention that to me, but it wasn’t a fight either. The chicken yakisoba was decently tasty and very filling. For my preference there was a bit too much sauce, but the grilled flavor of the chicken was nice. You order at the counter and they bring food to the table. Bus your own table and get your own condiments. They have coffee drinks and a drive-thru window.

I always get take-out here so I can’t comment much on dining in, but I do see the poker players mentioned in other reviews. I find them entertaining while waiting for my meal. We like coming here for an easy dinner. The Chicken Teryaki is straight forward but pretty consistently good. I also like the short ribs a lot. And, as mentioned by other reviewers, their salad dressing is outstanding so I always make sure I get salad(and sometimes steal my room-mate’s salad). They also do acceptable espresso and hot chocolate and such. I like this place.

Went here with, and at the recommendation of, a client and had the spicy chicken. It came with a side salad, white rice, and the grilled chicken with spicy sauce on it. First of all, the salad dressing was ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS and I bought a bottle to take home. Pretty sure you could put it on a brick and it would be a hit. That was followed by a close contender of the spicy sauce on the chicken. Out of this world! This was my first time but will not, will not, will not, be my last!

The absolute best chicken teriyaki and the salad dressing that goes on with their salad is absolutely remarkably delicious

Weird name and kinda weird renovation of an old Dairy Queen. The food is great. The spicy chicken teriyaki is great. Most of the«bowls» come with copious rice with a small salad covered in poppyseed dressing. The chicken is usually thigh meat. A little fatty but really well done. Crispy spicy chicken is really satisfying. Looks weird, sounds weird and tastes great.

KB’s is a bit of a off beat place when compared to the places I would normally go. Yet the combination of food, price and service has brought me back for seconds. They are a teriyaki place, a hold-em poker place, a video poker place and a bar, all rolled in to one. They have about 4 tables that are available for families with minors after seven which may limit it’s appeal. Yet I felt like the noise level and general feel of the place would be appropriate for a family of not-too-young kids — younger kids might be really distracted by the activity going on everywhere. The teriyaki chicken was ok — I felt like mine could have been cooked longer. The salad dressing on top of the lettuce salad is very tasty and tangy, a nice combination to the chicken. For the price, it’s probably one of the better options around. Get there before 6:30 — the small parking lot will fill up around then with their poker players and then you’ll have a challenge finding a place to park.
