Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

The front desk was busy but was not a long wait to give our names for the appointment. It was my first time ever getting a facial and the technician I got was super nice and friendly. Both my boyfriend’s mom and I were really happy with our service. I would definitely recommend Hand & Stone Spa to anyone that wanted to get a Facial.

If I could give zero stars I would. Front desk staff was unorganized, scatter brained and rude. Asked for a female therapist and received eye rolling and condescending looks that turned to whispers between two workers behind the desk. You are running a spa not working at McDonald’s, get it together. Therapist was pretty good and massage was okay, but overall, the environment turned me off so much that I wouldn’t return.

They were really nice and made my experience as relaxing as possible. And the massage was absolutely amazing. I’d go back there again and again. Totally recommend.

Scheduled a same-​day 80m massage appointment for today, which they were able to accommodate. All staff members were very friendly. When I had arrived to the location, I opted last-​minute to add-​on a brow/​lip waxing service; they were very courteous and simply added on the service.
I received the waxing prior to the massage (which is a big plus), and the esthetician (Jillian) was excellent. She was very professional and informative. Most importantly, she was able to realign my brows, which had been messed up by the last person who had waxed them. I will not go to anyone else for waxing now!
I get massages often (once or twice a month), so I tend to be very particular about what I like in massages. With Hand and Stone being a chain and having various massage therapists, it’s hard to rate the entire location based on a single massage experience. That being said, the massage was very good. Based on my needs, the massage therapist administered a combination of mostly Swedish, with some Sports Massage techniques added in. I thought this was very efficient, and I liked this approach a lot. My main concern was post-​leg day soreness; he definitely tailored the massage to that, focusing on lower back/​hips/​IT band.
I have been to five Hand and Stone locations myself; so far, I think this is the best one yet.

I have visited this Hand and Stone location twice now. I have had two different massage therapists and they were both excellent. I have some issues with my lower back and I’m extremely sensitive in that area. Both therapists took the time to ask me if the pressure was to my liking. And they must have asked 5 – 6 times over the course of my massage.
I’m not normally someone who purchass add on services but they were so friendly and not pushy about it. I purchased on my 2^nd massage the foot rub and wow it was well worth $ 10. Very relaxing!
I’m considering getting a couples massage with my wife soon. I’m thinking that could be a cool Valentines Day gift for her.

Glassboro Hand & stone is wonderful. I recommend this location to everyone. I’ve had four massages there with different therapists and I was pleased with each one of them. I really enjoyed that hot stone massage too. I’m so glad my husband bought me a membership there for my birthday.
