It’s a Smashing Love Affair!
Let me just say, my boys and I love all things smashed, not to mention the fries, sides and shakes (not smashed of course… lol). Beyond the delicious food, the management and staff are super friendly and one gal in particular has got our orders down pat, so unless we give her that «not so fast» look, she’s got us all dialed in… which I gotta say is really nice!

The food is good, atmosphere and environment well maintained, and food is deliveries timely. Price is reasonable.
Unfortunately, the smashfries are small, the quantity is not the problem, but the size of the fries makes them more prone to grease and harder to pick up.

Can I give this establishment 0? Every time I’ve gone to this establishment the food has been mediocre, but since it’s somewhat convenient my husband stopped on the way back from the city. The Classic Cobb salad was ordered, but didn’t receive any bacon or egg. You know? The parts that make it a Cobb salad. In addition, the majority of the lettuce, the small cup full that was given, was so bad it was black and slimy. Will not be patronizing another Smash Burger. The only decent item on the menu are their fries!

Some of the best burgers I have ever had. Awesome Customer service throughout the whole restaurant.
Burger: I got the Classic Smash. It is a Succulent and meaty burger that is definitely filling. The bun is perfection, as it is very soft and flavorful. The smash sauce is very good and adds a nice taste to the whole burger. The cheese is perfectly melted, and the lettuce and tomato add a nice crunch to it.

First time… not bad… we will go back. I will give 5 stars when there are more clean tables.

I have had burgers from Smashburger twice before so I decided to try one of their chicken sandwiches. My family and I placed our order online and were given a pick up time. Everything was ready to go and in individual bags upon picking it up and we figured we were good to go. Once we got home I realized my order was missing fries and my sandwich was missing cheese (both were listed on my receipt). No one felt like driving back so we let it go and I added cheese from my fridge. My sister in law LOVED her avocado chicken sandwich. Mine was decent although adding my own cold cheese from the fridge interfered a bit. I actually didn’t mind not receiving my fries (wish I hadn’t paid for them though) because I’m not a fan of the skinny shoestring style they serve and I totally forgot about that.
All in all, Smashburger is good if you don’t feel like cooking, but don’t want greasy fast food either.

I find this place to be excellent. Every burger I’ve had is good, including the veggie burger. The seasoned fries are really good too.

We ordered for pick up the first week they opened while food was good the entire order was wrong. Which now makes it a forbidden place to order from says my hubby. However recently went with coworkers for lunch. The burger was juicy. I ordered the kids meal because the standard burgers are too big for me. Manager was very helpful

Love love love SMASHBURGER. Great burgers and fries. A bit prices $ 7-​$ 8…but very good. Very clean interior. Quick service. I will be back.

Food is usually fine here but the manager is one of the biggest jerks I’ve met. Never smiles. Never friendly. Other than that and sometimes the burgers being WAYYYY too greasy it’s pretty damn good. Would pick a Shake Shack over it any day though!

This Smashburger is the closest one to home on the New Jersey side of the river, so I really want to like it. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to want to clean the tables promptly. When I go there, I keep seeing tables that are either stacked with trays and trash from previous customers or tables that are greasy and full of crumbs, and I end up having to wipe a table myself.
Ordering was pretty efficient and their employees are nice and helpful. The restaurant is set up in a fast casual style, where you order at the register and take a number to a table. Then they bring the burger out from the kitchen to you once it’s ready. You have choices in patty and ingredients (some free and some extra), so you can make a burger any way you want. However, they have a selection of named burgers with pre-​constructed lists of ingredients, so you can save time by picking one of those. There is usually one special burger for the region and sometimes a limited-​time special burger, although I don’t see why you couldn’t get both of those any time and anywhere just by specifying the right list of ingredients.
IMHO, the key to enjoying Smashburger is the Sin City Burger. I tried all their named burgers and some regional burgers, but none were really that great, except for Sin City from their secret menu. This is supposedly the regional burger for Las Vegas, so it makes me wonder what’s on the secret menu over there.
Overall, it’s an average Smashburger location. I just wish they’d work on cleaning the tables a bit more.

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is really good. The only thing was that our cashier, «Shay,» was really rude and unfriendly. She kept giving us attitude and dirty looks and made us feel unwelcomed.
The rest of the staff was very friendly, though.

We tried Smashburger in Glassboro, NJ for lunch yesterday. To say it was horrible is an understatement. My husband’s burger was so salty he couldn’t eat it. Mine came with a lot of «stuff» on it which we told the person taking our order not to put on it. What the heck was that piece of «lettuce?, couldn’t see the rest of the burger because of it’s size! So the search goes on for a place that actually serves a decent burger! Won’t be stopping at Smashburger ever again!

Basic burger joint. Staff was friendly and happy and seemed to enjoy helping customers. The fries are soooooooooo super thin. I can’t stand that. I love a big, fat fry. I didn’t get a «veggie» burger Bc they cook them on the same grill as the meat burgers and I don’t want meat juice on mine plus it was a spicy black bean boca burger and I don’t really like those. The veggie frites were ok. And the shake was decent. Prob won’t go back but glad I went to at least try something.

Excellent customer service. I came with a friend who asked if the vegetarian options are cooked on the same grill, which they are. The cooks went out of their way to clean the grill just to make sure there was no cross contamination.
Alright good. I mean, It’s pretty good for a burger joint, but a little pricey. The food is greasy, but what can you really expect from burger and fries?
Atmosphere. One major positive is the clean and open atmosphere.

Pros — the milk shakes came out quickly and were very good, the burgers were delicious, and we split an order of smash fries which were tasty.
Cons — the burgers were very greasy (may have contributed to their delicious flavor, but they were literally dripping with grease.) the fries were also very greasy. Beware that the prices are high, 2.29 $ for one order of fries was a bit ridiculous, but we thought the burgers were priced fairly.
I still like Five Guys better, but smashburger is a good alternative if you are close by.

I went here the other day with a friend. As usual, the smash fries were absolutely amazing. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, which was delicious. However, be sure to ask for your mayo on the side. I forgot to do so on this visit and the sandwich was almost indelible. The same thing happened to my son on a burger he ordered a couple months ago.
Smashburger is an awesome place with some delicious food, but order MAYO ON THE SIDE.

The only reason I am giving SB more than the minimum one star is because the chicken on the sandwich I had was fresh and juicy and cooked to perfection and was on a soft and fresh onion bun, which I love.
Otherwise, my first and last SB experience was zero stars.
I love me some onion straws/​rings (called haystack onions at SB). So, I was doubly excited to find that I could order a sandwich (New Jersey Chicken) that had them on it as well as a side order. Can you say SALT?! I mean, I like salt, but hello?! Way too much. I kept digging deeper hoping it was just the top layer, but alas, it was all the way through. Terrible. Ruined the entire meal for me.
Back to the New Jersey chicken sandwich-​the bacon was a nice touch, hardly any blue cheese. I would have preferred the bun and chicken alone, frankly.
I also tried the cheese fries. Neon orange crap cheese in a cup to dip the frozen matchstick fries in. Gross!

I was in the mood for a hamburger. I started licking my chops the closer we got to SmashBurger. This place makes a nice first impression when you walk in with its red light fixtures and red seat cushions. This added a nice pop of color.
I ordered a New Jersey burger and smash fries (rosemary, olive oil, and garlic). The burgers comes in two sizes: smash and big smash. I decided to go with the big smash. Let me tell you, this is a big burger. It’s only one patty, but it is a big, wide, smashed, burger. The New Jersey burger has too many ingredients and the blue cheese had a weird taste. I was kicking myself for not ordering a cheeseburger. Oh well, you live and you learn. My fries tasted great! I scarfed them down. Their milkshakes look scrumptious and they use Haagen-​Dazs to boot. The service was excellent for a fast food place.
Overall, the burger was not bad. I would not mind coming back to try a different burger.
