Had to wait 60 minutes for our food. When asked why it was taking so long, I was told there are only two people in the kitchen. Apparently I should be OK with this since the day before people waited two hours. Not acceptable for a «diner». Food was ok.

Stopped by today for lunch. It was not at all busy, maybe 3 tables occupied. Our server was prompt and attentive. We ordered sandwiches and they were both real good. Not fancy but a nice spot for a quick lunch. They also serve breakfast items at lunch.

This is a great mom and pap type restaurant, nothing fancy but it has great food, great service with good prices. I wish I lived closer to this place.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Both sandwiches hit the spot. Onion rings were my favorite! Will definitely spot here again when in the area. Looks like it is family-run and those are the ones I want to patronize and grow in our community.

We’ve been going here on the weekends since we moved to the west end last summer. We have tried other places but this is our go to breakfast joint. Omelets are cooked to order and just the we ask for them! Everyone is welcoming at Jerry’s. Service is awesome and friendly.

My favorite breakfast spot! It might not look like much from the outside, but the food is great and so is the service. We go there for omelettes, home fries, and biscuits every weekend. Yum!

Very small restaurant but food was really good. Good coffee. Biscuit and gravy was really good. Didn’t care a lot for the pancake. Service was a little slow.

Second time here i came a long time a go with someone that knew the place, breakfast good as last time and faster than ihop long waitings on weekends. I like the place not fancy not expensive.

Went to Jerry’s Restaurant for breakfast with my boyfriend and we both really enjoyed it! this is absolutely the definition of a hole in the wall in a strip mall. I used to pass this restaurant every single day on my way to work in Innsbrook. I’ve always been curious about it and this week was the perfect chance to check it out. I realized that It’s not easy to find a straight up breakfast spot that’s not a chain. If it’s not brunch on the weekends, I guess regular old breakfast gets lost in the RVA shuffle. I ordered wheat blueberry pancakes with a side of ham. My boyfriend ordered the french toast with grits, scrambled eggs, and sausage. After our meal he commented, «I really like that place» and it takes a lot for him to say that! I should have ordered the regular pancakes instead of wheat(’cause let’s face it. if you’re gonna cheat, then cheat!). Although they weren’t bad, they just didn’t hit the spot like they should have. But that’s not their fault On top of all the good food, the bill was way less than $ 20. I think we will be regulars here!

I ordered today the eggs Benedict for breakfast, and it was really good. I believe I will have to come back and try some of the other things that are on the menu

I absolutely love this place, I have been here many times and I always receive great service as well as great food. This place is great if you want down home southern breakfast food but also great new creations. Best chipped beef in Richmond!

This place was ok. They have a nice selection of breakfast options. We ordered a couple of their breakfast platters. The food was what I expected at any breakfast place. The homefries that came with the platters tasted dry and overcooked. One of the platters also came with a belgian waffle, which really wasn’t a belgian waffle. Tasted like it was made using the same batter as their pancakes. My main reason for giving this place three stars however was because the service was really really slow. From sitting down and getting our food, it was 45 minutes. And when the food isn’t really anything that requires a lengthy cook time, I wasn’t too impressed.

This place is pretty good! I got the cheddar omelette & fries. My brother got the philly omelette. We both enjoyed & thought it was good but not amazing. They have a huge selection! Good luck

Great little place. I got corned beef on grilled rye and my wife got a ham cheese and onion omelet with a biscuit and grits. Efficient staff and the food arrived fresh and quickly. The price was right as well. Definitely a keeper.

Eh. That’s exactly how this restaurant makes me feel. Eh. My mom and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The waitresses were very nice, but seemed like they were overworked and running around… which was weird because the restaurant was not even halfway full. The food took almost 30 minutes to come to our table, which seemed kind of extensive considering there were only 5 or 6 other tables in the restaurant, and we didn’t really order anything too extensive(french toast for me and pancakes for my mom). Another thing, my mom drank her coffee and was waiting for over 10 minutes to get a refill. We tried multiple times to signal one of the waitresses attentions before they finally recognized that we were trying to get more coffee. When the food finally arrived, we were starving. We dove into our food expecting to be overwhelmed by the great tastes, but it was all just mediocre. The eggs tasted eh. The pancakes tasted eh. Everything about this restaurant was eh.

I was referred to Jerry’s by a friend as a good place for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. The pastrami & eggs was cooked perfectly. The two ladies who served me were prompt and polite. I will go again.

The staff is very nice. A local place. Ordered the eggs benedict and the fried chicken biscuit. Food was hot and filling but only after waiting over 30 minutes. Had to flag the server for a coffee refill. It’s a decent place to eat as long as you are good with waiting and having to sit and wait while the people who sat and ordered after you did get their food before you. It would have been nice if the staff let us know early on instead of after everyone getting their food around us. It would appear that the regulars got better treatment. Just an observation.

Coffee is horrible, bitter and tasted old. Had corned beef hash and eggs. Corned beef hash was ok, eggs were cooked perfect, English muffin toasted perfectly also. No seasoning on the food, home fries mediocre, and the sausage patties were dry as the cook squeezed out all the moisture(had a view of the kitchen). Service friendly, prices reasonable. I will visit again.

Today I was not feeling the crowds of a typical Cracker Barrel or IHOP. However this little spot at Lexington Commons got my attention so I went inside for brunch. It was 10:30a so there was no crowd from breakfast, just a few folks. My waitress, Lisa popped up in a flash for my order and I knew immediately that I wanted to see if they would make a special order BLT Sandwich. No problem she would have it right out. ‘Twas Very tasty and prepared with extra tomato and bacon. I love it when my plan comes together. They make their own fries here, so simple and fresh! I can see this place being one of my regular stops. Jerry’s Restaurant passed the test with flying colors so to speak.
