We purchased carpet from this Lowe’s twice. We had some work done in our basement and we needed this carpet repaired after that work. After struggling to find a small business to help us with this project we contacted the original installer for help. They were happy to do the work, one small issue is that the work order had to go through Lowe’s due to their contract. When we first contacted Lowe’s they claimed to have no record of any work orders (we’ve done at least four through this store). When we gave them the job numbers, they then said they could not help us because they don’t work with this installer anymore (but other stores in the area do). They refused to help us so my husband contacted Corporate. Corporate was able to assist us by having a store just outside the area open the job for us. We thought we were saved and expected the installer to come by Monday to finalize the quote and schedule.
HOWEVER, this store at 9490 W. Broad then CANCELLED that work order. They called to tell us why we can’t have this installer that we trust to do the work and why we needed to take our business elsewhere. O.M.G. we finally find a reputable contractor to help us finish this project and now we are back to square one. I can’t believe this store purposefully cancelled a job they had NO BUSINESS cancelling. That was between us and the other store. Now our timeline is messed us, we will have to continue to pay storage costs for our furniture and we still don’t have our basement put back together.
I AM OUTRAGED at this store and I will no longer do business with Lowe’s. Seriously, why ruin our project plan? What do they gain by messing this up for us. I know we will lose at least $ 290 in storage costs and more time and energy finding another contractor. Simply unbelievable!

Stopped in to buy a Gas Grill, period. Truthfully it was tough to find someone in that department with a few minutes to answer questions, only because they were so busy. Finally an observant head cashier noticed my patience and decided to offer assistance. That Superstar saved the sale! I immediately picked out the Char Broil Advantage and had it loaded in the back of my SUV. I stepped back inside to buy a cover and I was off…

Today if I could give a negative star I would. I came in asking A question and was treated like well if we have it it’s somewhat over there. Spent some time looking found nothing ask another sales clerk, can you help me and the response was well I think it’s over there I’m not sure ask someone in that department
I guess I will continue going to shop at the one at poncy track why did I come here today

There are a lot of employees standing around chatting, they are helpful and willing to walk you to what you’re looking for.
This store seems a little old or in a curious area and/​or nook but may be to be a little ghetto compared to some of the other Lowe’s I’ve been to in the area. Be mindful while driving around the shopping area parking lot people tend to drive faster than what is safe and or necessary.

Wow, this was a train wreck. I ordered materials for a project a week ahead of time and was told it would be ready. When I arrived, no one really knew what was going on. The person who called me back wasn’t there on weekends, so no one knew what was going on. After serious searching they found my order. Guess what? It was only partially filled. So, I spent the next hour at Lowes while they pulled the order and tried to load it onto my truck.
At first they had a loader try to put the stuff on my rented trailer. That guy was clueless about placing a load on a trailer and tried to put 2,000 pounds of concrete block on the tongue. After having trouble moving it, he said he had another job he had to deliver so he took off. The new manager I was working with was nice so he went and got another team.
The A-​team then arrived. These guys knew what they were doing and were young management trainees or something. The guy on this forklift was an artist and put it right on the money after playing tetris with the load.
When I came back to return the few supplies we had over with the project, it was back to the same CSI needed to find my order. With my ID, my receipt, and with my invoices it took 15 minutes to find my order to return the excess block, concrete & boards. Really? I’ve never struggled that much with a Lowes. And I’m a Pro member! Well, my fault. I typically used the Short Pump store and only used this one due to the fact that they had more dek block.
This was a surreal journey of missed commitments and systems that really need some work.

This location is small compared to the other locations in town. However, the employees seem friendly, they are as helpful as any big home improvement/​hardware store is, and they have most of what you might be looking for. The lines aren’t bad and most of the time that I go in there’s at least two lanes open. If you’re looking for a lot of choices then this might not have it all but if you’re just looking for something in particular then this is the place.

I used to like this particular store until my visit yesterday. On a Saturday afternoon there was no one working in either the kitchen or appliance section. Also no button to request help like in other Lowes stores.
I waited 10 mins then found someone from flooring to help. He fumbled around for a few mins then another guy came over to assist. He was basically a jerk and unfriendly. I ended up buying my appliance at Best Buy.
The Lowes downtown not only has a larger selection but friendly and helpful staff.

I purchased a commode, faucet, and vanity recently for my mom’s half bath. The plumber I hired picked the items up and starting installing them. Once the commode was in place, he discovered the handle on the tank was broken. Then he opened the vanity box and found out one of the hinges had pulled away from the cabinet so it was broken! I headed back to Lowe’s with the broken handle and vanity and when to customer service. The man working customer service was unhelpful and semi-​unpleasant. I believe his name was DJ. He said I needed to bring the whole commode back before they would exchange the broken item. Fortunately for me, someone else in customer service heard the exchange and stepped in to help. Her name was Hazel and she was awesome! That is why my review is 3 stars instead of 1. She had someone in plumbing section get me a replacement handle and a new vanity. That person was also wonderful and I don’t remember his name. While they were being customer-​service focused, the other man was being unpleasant and difficult with someone on the phone. I am glad I don’t live in the area and that the Lowe’s in my neighborhood, Long Beach, CA is helpful and friendly like Hazel. Mom’s bathroom turned out really nice and she is happy.

Theyre having a «black friday week sale» I am just learning about this spring black friday… Very cool. I went in there and bought these beautiful palm type trees for my house. I have no idea where they’re going in it but I couldn’t ignore the deal. $ 9.95 each!
I was going through the aisles just trying to think of something to do to the house so I could buy something lol.

Oh, how I wish I could transport this Lowes to the DC area. Or at least all the staff. I have never had better service at another Lowes, and the one closest to my house sucks.

I have been going to Lowe’s for many years… It has a lot for everyone. Sometimes you can spend more time in the place just browsing. This time of year, there are plenty of plants and scrubs for your yard and garden… they have a lot. In addition, the prices in Lowe’s is not bad a well… It seems like I am always picking up something extra in which I did not come in there to buy…
The ONLY drawback on the BIG Box Home Improvement stores is finding someone to help you. If you have specific questions, than they have to find someone else. I wish the items had price tags on each, so you do not have to chase down someone to find out… Other than that sore point for me… I like going to Lowe’s. They have a great selection of Tools; Lumber and items which you can use. This includes Home Appliances as well…
So, if you have never been… check them out… :-)

The service here is better than any other location, but the store is smaller than most. We are generally in here once a week fixing up something around the house, and we are always amazed at the ability of the staff to pinpoint exactly where the product we need is located on the shelf, down to the bay number!
I will say that there isn’t always everything you need in stock here, but with free shipping to the store, you can have just about anything waiting for you to pick up and all paid for! Okay, so you won’t always find crazy unique fancy highest-​of-​all quality home furnishings here, but for my budget, I can usually find something to suit my taste.
I love Lowe’s.
