Love this place. If it’s getting late and you don’t know where to go come here! Trying different food is always risky but usually they are hits or misses! So try different items and see what you like and don’t like.

I gave 3 stars because of their good and friendly service. The food is below average, it doesn’t taste rich and marinated well. I am Korean food lover, I can taste when the meat is marinated well and juicy Will I go back again for Korean food, no.

We came here for the first time on Memorial Day for breakfast. It was very busy but we were seated pretty quickly. We had our one year old with us and any parent knows dining out with a child that young can be chaotic. Our waitress was great though! I wish I would of caught her name. She brought us all mini muffins on the house while we waited for our food. It helped keep our toddler under control for a little bit and she kept coming back to check on us. We all thought the food was okay, I mean it’s a diner so your expectations are lower but it was decent. I think the waitress being so great is what really made the experience special. I’d come back!

I am in love with this place… You don’t want to go here if you are looking for the high end service of like Ruth Chris… You go here when you want to be called honey or shuga and you want to feel like your mom is making you lunch! From the delicious breakfast spreads to my favorite cheesesteak wrap… You cant beat the taste or the price… If you have the chance and you see Mrs. Judy working… Please get her as your waitress… the absolute Big Momma experience. Its not a huge place, but the way is never long!

Good food, great service and a reasonable price! Yes, it’s diner food but I’ve loved everything I’ve had in my multiple visits! They have a large selection of food for any time of the day. And the service is always friendly, polite and efficient. I’ve never had a problem with parking or getting a table. I am a repeat customer!

Tried this place based on other peoples Unilocal reviews– Beware! Went on a Sunday afternoon with out of town visitors, and had to keep saying how sorry I was to my guests. The(tiny) parking lot has people loitering, asking for money, sleeping in their cars, etc. Tables are really close to booths– the baby behind me in a highchair was practically in my lap. Floor was filthy with dirty silverware under our table. Service was bad. I ordered the Cuban Panini– it was not a cuban, not a panini, and unsure of what kind of meat it was. It came grilled swimming in butter. Wanted to get the check and leave as quick as we could.

Never been but had a restaurant coupon and figured my family and I would give it a try. My wife had the ham and cheese omelette was very good. I had the fried catfish a little bland but asked for old bay and it gave it the flavor it was missing if I was in the area I would go back really liked the dinner feel.

I have went a few times throughout my life(living in the area my whole life and all) and it has always been good food. I DID go once when I had an upset stomach, though… Not suggested for such an occasion because it is a diner and retro and greasy. But, I believe I tried fruit or oatmeal. Idk anymore. Something on the healthy side. The smells, at the time, were still unpleasant. But, on a good day, it’s amazing. Lol. It is a full, small parking lot much of the time. Tells you something.

This review may be biased. Situation: starving, midnight, just landed at Baltimore Airport and checked into nearby hotel, nothing open in the area at that hour, too tired to drive out to inner harbor. Bam. Honey Bee diner pops up on Unilocal once filter adjusted for late night. About a 12minute drive from our hotel. Awesome neon lit diner, packed with customers at 1am. It reminded me of places I’ve seen on tv about the true old school diners. I couldn’t tell ya what a true diner is like. My wife and I split a short stack and a honey bee skillet wrap. The wrap was legit! Very good late night meal. Cheesy, oily, fried chicken, bacon, peppers. Yea! Service was phenomenal. Busy running around, but Awesome attentive waitress. I would definitely go back. Enjoy.

This is absolutely your typical diner. The atmosphere is probably just a little cleaner and more sleek than a Dennys. The food is good and there’s lots of choices. If you’re getting off a flight and its 2AM then this might be your best bet. We started with potato skins and I’m not much of a nacho cheese connoisseur so probably would go with a different appetizer if I had the choice. The sandwhiches are always a safe bet and you can’t go wrong with breakfast food at 2am. If its late stop in, if not maybe keep traveling a bit.

Haven’t been to the Honey Bee in a very long time. I was driving by hungry, it was lunchtime, why not stop in. I sat down at the counter and ate a great Turkey Club with perfectly golden french fries. Enjoyed«interesting» conversation with my stool neighbor who was regular wearing a red kilt, enough said. Played along with the delightful staff to Family Feud on the tube. A thoroughly satisfying and memorable half an hour.

Sign at door says sign in with cashier for table. She’s on the phone, no greeting from anyone, but we wait patiently. She sighs and says«there’s a table back there» and points. There is no open table back there. We find a table on our own, ask for a high chair, and get a heavy sigh, and 5 min later someone finally throws a chair down and walks off. Then the waitress comes to our table. My husband asks what the difference bt two omelets is and she says«it’s just what’s on the menu.» She’s rude and incorrect, and the menu did not describe this omelet. Food was very hot and very fast, decent food overall. Experience was so bad it was funny so we’ll probably be back in the future to see if we just got a few bad eggs, so to speak.

Stopped here for the first time just this past Sunday, as we discovered that our regular weekend breakfast spot was closed for remodeling. We were seated prompted, and our waitress was nice(Ginny, I think). Good, solid diner food(my wife had scrambled eggs, home fries, and a short stack; I had a short stack, one egg and turkey sausage). My wife, who is picky about this sort of thing, liked their home fries, but not her scrambled eggs. I enjoyed my whole meal, and appreciated that they offered non-pork breakfast meats. Decent sized portions. I think our bill for two, with coffee, was just a touch over $ 20. I didn’t think the coffee was that great, but it was drinkable and we never had to wait for our mugs to be topped off. Don’t think I would ever go out of my way to return, but if I were already in Glen Burnie or meeting someone in the area and looking for somewhere to have breakfast, this would be it :)

Stopped in for a quick lunch has the country fried steak with mash and green beans. It also can with a cup of soup. The MD cream of crab was much better than the fried steak

I’ve eaten at this diner several times; each time has proved a worthwhile experience. My party is consistently seated promptly and attended to by cheerful, competent staff who seem genuinely happy in their work. It’s not cuisine, but comfort food served fresh, hot, and simple just as it should be. The servers are consistently some of the best in the local diner scene, always prompt and professional. My only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are the parking lot, which can be tight and is frequently full, even when the restaurant is not; and the orange juice which is overly sweet for my taste. Honey Bee succeeds as the local, down-home diner filled with regular return customers and visitors alike. In 3 years of fairly regular visits, I’ve never been disappointed.

We always enjoy our Post Church Service –Christmas Eve meal at the Honey Bee every year. We’ve been going here for at least 25 years and this place always brings back great memories. Really improved the after the total remodel several years ago. The cuisine is always good especially from the breakfast menu. Coffee is superb. Service is always good too. A Glen Burnie landmark and it will hopeful be here for a long time to come

This was my husband and I first time visiting this diner and man the food was delicious. we decided to try a little bit of everything and we were not disappointed the place was crowded but we were seated within 10 minutes and greeted right away and our food didn’t take long at all to come out we will definitely be visiting this place again for some of that good breakfast. Only con was the orange juice. It was just ok, not that great, otherwise no complaints the staff were very friendly.

I frequent this diner often. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like. And I’m very easy when it comes to food to please. Let me hurry on. Since the end of February of this year my life had been basically living for my Dad. My siblings and I were on day to day care of our hero our father who transitioned on June 10, 2015. Even though I can cook, because time constraints and late nights of making sure dad was comfortable cooking was not an option. The Honey Bee kept me fed and with gracious, kind and humorous service that got me through the caring and passing of my dad and my pastor. I cannot say enough of how they unaware helped me to go through this life changing period of my life. I’m grateful for the great food and especially for kind and humorous banter.

We he great service and really enjoyed our meals. I’ve had some pretty awful dinner food before, and this place I felt did a great job. Really enjoyed my fried chicken meal, and my partner really enjoyed her breakfast pancakes and sides. I will say, the FC was a bit greasy, and my milkshake tasted about as artificial as possible, but again, it’s a dinner. I don’t exactly have the highest of expectations.
