I totally love double T I go here every month. Food and service is excellent. They have games out in the lobby. I played key master and won twice so far it is much easier to win then at my local movie theater. even though one of the prizes didn’t come out, I called them and came over and gave it to me right away. I will continue coming here.

I miss diner culture. It’s so hard to find a 24⁄7 option that’s any good in our area. Wish we had a great classic diner like this. Coffee could be better, but it’s presumably lighter to appeal to a broader audience? The Hercules Omelette was packed full of gyros meat and just the right amount of feta. His steak & eggs were serviceable. I loved the bran muffin(grilled). This place does what you want a diner to do.

I have been to both Double T Diners and I prefer the Glenburnie Location. I go so often that the manager knows me by name. Some of the wait staff aren’t the friendliest, but if Nancy or Susan is there it doesn’t even matter! the food is always amazing(try the sweet potato fries or an adult milkshake) and the white chocolate cheesecake is to DIE for! Like I said if you can get past some of the wait staff and the drafty ambiance… You will really enjoy your experience!

For a diner, this place delivers. I like the crab cake sandwich and the omelets. And the homemade cannoli is a desert I pick up whenever I am going somewhere and want to bring something special, they are sweet but still yummy.

This place is okay. But that’s about it, just okay. They take a long time to come around and take your order and the friendly factor isn’t always there. But I mean it’s fine for dinner food and late night eating. You’ve just got to remember you’re not eating at a 5 star restaurant that’s for sure.

I, like another reviewer, am giving this place a bad review because of the manager. The food here is okay. The menu’s too big for them to make anything very well, and the eggplant parmesan sub I got was soggy but edible. The real problem is the manager. I was here with a friend, and we wanted to split the check. Apparently they won’t do this, which is a silly policy, but would’ve been fine if they’d told us. The waiter said at the table before we ordered that they would be able to split the check if we asked at the register, which we did. Instead of telling us they wouldn’t do it though, the manager charged the whole amount to my card without asking me if that was okay. When I told him I wasn’t okay with that, he didn’t apologize. He was on the phone the whole time and wouldn’t even look at us. I’ve never written a review of anything online in my life-that’s how bad this experience was.

I love their soups. They are always fresh and hot. Their sour dough bread goes great with it. The club sandwich is also great. Bacon cheese burger also good. Desserts are ok. I really like double t now. I use to not like them.

Prices are great. You get a mountain of food for what you pay. The food is fantastic. If you can get past the robotic Greek staff(wait staff is fine, it’s the host that’s usually an android) and the fact that they willingly serve liquor to underage kids that die in horrific car accidents and that their cakes smell of gasoline then this is a great place.

Quickly seated, I was loving how big this diner looks! It has pay to play games or jute boxes at the tables by the condiments. Tvs were around the diner, in case your brunch date is a sucky conversationalist. The menu is just giant. It will take you a while to get through it unless you know what you want. I had gone in to try scrapple for the first time, as I had never had it before. I got the scrapple with egg plate, side of pancakes, coffee. My partner got the monte cristo sandwich. Food came very quickly. Server was very polite and accommodating. My partner said his sandwich was okay but a monte cristo as he knows them, are supposed to be fried all together. I felt his sandwich was way to sweet for my taste. My scrapple was about ¾ of an inch thick. Crispy outside but thick enough to be mushy inside. I would have preferred it to be all crunchy, but I was trying it for the first time, so I wasn’t bothered. I ate it with the egg, and homefries, on top of my toast. Very filling and tasty. We will return for more diner experiences.

This place seriously does some business. It was packed. Food is diner quality and probably the best you could get at that high commercial level. Fantastic job on over easy eggs. If your looking for something to eat diner style this is the place. But remember… its a diner.

Stopped by after years away and was happy to see the Double T is still holding to the old fashion diner tradition. We had breakfast. The double T special is priced right and is enough food for two folks unless you are really hungry. The Greek omelet is awesome. The service was very good. They also sport a large selection of cakes and pastries. Breakfast is 24 hours.

What’s the fuss about? This place couldn’t be that bad, I couldn’t find a place to park my car. Tried the chicken soulvaki which was very good. It came with fries that were served piping hot. The tzaziki sauce was good as well. Pita was served fresh. Greek salad was a little less desirable, hence the 4 star review. I am as critical as they come. This place was delicious. If you are looking for something cheap, go to McDonald’s.

I really enjoyed my Double T Special breakfast of pancakes, scrabmled eggs with cheddar, bacon and sausage. I knew this place was going to be a hit for me as soon as I realized they have real cheddar cheese and real butter, both of these items instantaneously bumps up my eating experience to pleasurable. Portions are large, service was great and he diner is retro cute.

Went for breakfast… even tho the ratings told me not too… i thought that it would be difficult to screw up bfast… The staff and customers were very nice! Treated everyone like regulars… I ordered the Double T Bfast special… which u can get pancakes or french toast, eggs, two meats and hashbrowns(they call them home fries). Hashbrowns were yummy and seasoned. French toast was so good. It had cinnamon and the bread was thick… texas toast kinda bread. I really enjoyed this place and I’ll be back. I don’t see how their reviews are so terrible. The pricing on that meal was really good. I can’t remember the exact price but I remember thing… «dang, all that for that.» Desserts look tastey but I didn’t try any… this time around.

Terrible. Just lack of caring in my opinion. Definitely overpriced. Probably won’t return.

We came in with 2 small children and they seated us at a round table. Anyone with kids knows a round table is difficult to manage. When we sat down we noticed the floor was really dirty and there was a few dirty utensils under the table. The waitress had little knowledge of the menu. I asked her if the spinach was fresh and she said yes. When we got the plate of food the spinach was not only cooked but looked like a pile of crap in a bowl. The chicken sandwich we ordered came with nothing but grilled chicken and bread. No lettuce or tomato. My husband ordered 2 eggs and sausage and when his food came out they had given him extra food he didn’t order nor did he want, which would have cost us extra. Overall, the food was mediocre and way overpriced, the service was slow and lacked basic knowledge. Even the manager at the register struggled with basic register usage. We won’t be returning.

Horrific Experience! I grew up in New Jersey, the diner capital of the world and I know a thing or two about diners. This wannabe diner does not measure up at all. Since we don’t have many diner options here in Maryland I patronize it from time to time. The food is never that good but today was the worst experience. I looked over the menu and saw that there was a stuffed pork chop special. I asked the server, who spoke horrible English by the way, about the way the pork chops were prepared. He told me he would check with the chef. He later returned to tell me the special was not available today. I asked to speak with the manager who confirmed the same. I asked the manager if I could have the regular pork chop entrée for the same price as the special since the special was unavailable. He told me no. His lack of concern for me and my money was disappointing to say the least so I left. I WILLNEVERRETURN. BADFOOD + POORCUSTOMERSERVICE = GOSOMEPLACEELSE.

Good not great food at a slightly steep price by Glen Burnie standards. I had the penny omelette which had scrapple, mushrooms, peppers, cheese. Eggs were seasoned well, scrapple was decent, mushrooms were canned which is enough to knock a star off for me. Home fries were ace. Not the best, but pretty prettay good. Avoid the biscuit at all cost. Very voluminous and certainly filling but so bland and lacking in butter/fat. You can add all the butter to it you want, but the gluten structure on the outside of these things were almost like bread or a roll, and not in a good way. The service is certainly diner-appropriate meaning the level of good service you get is commensurate with how much of a regular you are. There are a lot of regulars here, at least at 9:00 am on a Friday morning. The space is open and comfortable. Décor is somewhere between greasy spoon and casino buffet. Cleaner than most mom-and-pop diners, probably same cleanliness as Denny’s or IHOP.

I’ve always had great luck at this restaurant until today. The prime rib special was not very good. Overcooked, rubbery and grilled. It’s no longer a prime rib when it’s grilled. I think it was left over from yesterday due the lack of quality in the meat. Because I’ve had many great meals here, I will return. I hope this is not a sign that the diner is going downhill.

Definitely not the best. I’ve only been to Double T twice in my life, so I can’t say that I’m a regular. So I don’t know exactly what to expect. I came here with my sister, her husband, and her 3 kids(one being 5 months old, and wouldn’t be eating anything). I told the server that my order is to be separate from theirs, he says«Okay.» I order the fried shrimp basket, which comes with soup(I ordered the New England clam chowder) and an unsweetened iced tea. We waited a good 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did, it was blah. The fried shrimp was more breading than shrimp, which put me off. I couldn’t eat them all, and I did not feel satisfied. We waited an additional 30 minutes after eating for the check, which the server did not separate, claiming, «We don’t do separate checks here.» What? I have never heard of a restaurant that did not separate checks, and if they did, he should have warned me before I placed my order. When we looked at the receipt, we saw why: a mandatory 18% tip for our party of five. Now, I realize that servers work hard, and I always tip for good service. But a forced tip for passable service, without honoring my request for a split check? Nope. My brother-in-law explained that I wanted my check to be separate, and he did not appreciate being scammed out of an 18% tip, but the management refused to listen, and made him pay. So we all agreed that we will patronize businesses that truly value our business and don’t see a need to scam us out of 18%. It’s been real, Double T, but I won’t be back.
