Kims Nails Two

I was completely discussed with this place. My daughter and I went here for the first time the person sitting next to me was done a new client walked in the tub was not rinsed out or sanitized the tub was filled with fresh water but still had all the mess from the last client. GROSS!!! Never will I go back. Don’t go here

I love this place. So relaxing and quiet. The price completely understand. The staffs are very friendly. Huge coloring system. I came with a group of 10 people and they serve everything profession with cookies and wine.

I always believe in this nail salon because of their airy space and sanitation.
I used to come some other nail salon at thid area, but the staff was always rude to customers and they were not talented or creative enough to make me satisfied. At this place, I can tell them my ideas, and they could help me to make it come true on my nails.
They can design follow any nail model that I like — I often collect fron the Internet and print out or take the photo, then bring it to Kims Nails 2.
My nails become beautiful and impressed thanks for being designed in a unique way.

I was have plan for vacation 1 month, and I try to do no chip manicure here, it stay last long a month, when I come back, it still stay, this save time for me, thanks.

I’ve been coming to Kim’s for years. I can’t believe anything less than a stellar review. The staff is super friendly, always makes you feel like you’re their only customer and priority even when the salon is packed, their prices are great… I would come in weekly for pedis when I was pregnant just for the lovely hot towel with foot /​leg massage and shiatsu massage chairs. Amazing! I’ve been a customer for manis and acrylics also, and really prefer long curved nails and they’ve always done a great job on my natural nails as well as my acrylic application and fills. Went in today to fix a botched no chip from another local salon and the service was amazing as always! My nails look great!!!
Kim’s has not disappointed thus far, and I highly doubt they ever will!!!

Staff is friendly and prices are where they should be for the area but my no-​chip manicure is chipping after less than a week. Others I have received have lasted far longer than this one. I can’t recommend this place, especially for no-​chip.

I could not believe that anyone gave this less than a 5 star review. The person who gave the 1 star review must have been serviced by someone who is no longer there! The cleanliness, service, and prices at Kim’s cannot be beat. I have gone to high end salons in the Loop, in Naperville and in Wheaton. After also stumbling into Kim’s about 7 years ago, I will never go anywhere else again. The work is always perfect. You do not leave unless you are satisfied. They do a fantastic job on acrylics and also on regular manicures. Pedicures are magnificent. Remember, ladies, if you want to make you polish last, put a clear coat of polish on every few days and wear gloves when you wash dishes!

I stopped into this place on a whim because I had a bit of time to kill and I needed a mani/​pedi. I was a walk in and I didn’t have to wait at all. The pedicure was excellent and 1 month later the polish is still perfect. I did the no-​chip manicure and it was excellent as well. It lasted 3 weeks without lifting or chipping at all. In fact, the only reason I had it re-​done is because of outgrowth. I had a subsequent no-​chip manicure done somewhere else and after less than 2 weeks it’s chipping and peeling. I’m going back to Kim’s!

The quality is outstanding. I have been going here for over 4 years and they care very much about customer service and satisfaction. The current owner took over last spring, after being the primary nail technician. She has made improvements and continues to do so. The only reason I rated with 4 stars vs. 5 stars is that you may have to wait if you don’t make a reservation in advance. I have recommended them to many friends who are equally as satisfied.

I used to like this place for mani/pedi’s but after my last visit, I will never go to this place again. Here’s what happened in a nutshell:
Pedicure:
1. Water in pedicure tub was too cold. I asked for it to be warmer 3x’s but never complied.
2. Rather using a pumice stone to smooth my feet, the technician used Microplane lemon zester! I couldn’t believe my eyes as to what I saw and asked her to stop.
3. Polish was mediocre at best and did not clean the cuticles well.
Manicure:
1. Painted 3 coats when only 2 should of been sufficient. While drying, nail color started to bubble. When telling the technician, she fixed only one of my nails but later decided to redo the rest of the nails.
2. Re-​do was HORRIBLE! absolutely HORRIBLE! I don’t know if the technician was angry b/​c she needed to re-​do her first mistake or if she’s blind or just simply didn’t care?
Overall, I do not recommend anyone to go to this place anymore. They quality of work is not the same and for the price, I could of gone to somewhere closer to my home.
