We don’t eat fast food much but when we do, we always go to Wendy’s. The glen Ellyn Wheaton is by far the best location. They are fast, efficient and accurate. My family has a lot of picky eaters so we always have custom orders and they have never gotten one wrong.

Don’t order Sweet Tea! Ever. At least not through the drive thru.
The value burgers are always tasty, good and hot. Fries vary; sometimes fresh and sometimes hours old and icky (soggy or hard as a rock). Of the 5 times I have ordered Sweet Tea at this location via drive thru, including today, they give you unsweet tea and no sweeteners. How hard is it to read the labels; «sweet» or «unsweet».

Horrible. Such a nice area with crappy fast food service. I orderd a apple pecan salad with a dr. Pepper, the salad came with no walnuts (which it’s suppose to in a little baggy) and was warm. My large dr pepper was HALF full and I have not touched it! Horrible service! Pay attention!

Because this location is close to COD I’ve come here often, and am constantly disappointed with the temperature. I’m willing to bet these owners/​managers violate polices when it comes to how long the food stays in the warning trays. I cannot remember the last time I had something hot, and not lukewarm. I’ve called Wendy’s HQ to complain about this location. The location on Schmale is way better.

Stopped there today and the french fries were god-​awful! They had a strange chemical taste or something! Anyone else experience this?

Burgers are MUCH improved from what they were before. The change in the menu left me a bit skeptical but I figured they’d have to try pretty hard to mess this up. They didn’t! Nice and juicy– better than before. The bun is also different.
Rating will be a different– Super Human (for the price).

This is a pretty good Wendy’s that’s in an easy location to access. The service has always been good and hot, and the food is fine. I suggest dining in; the drive through can get pretty backed up.
MAJOR PROPS to Wendy’s for the 4 Alarm Chicken Sandwich. This is a spicy chicken breast, topped with lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, and a spicy chipotle sauce on ciabatta bread. It’s actually pretty spicy and has lots of good flavor. Right on!
