Stopped in today with my wife and had the Chili and Garlic French fries. The Chili I will rate at 5⁄5 as the portion size, taste and consistency was perfect. The right amount of spice and heat made this dish fantastic and the cornbread was a perfect added combination. What can I say about the Garlic French Fries w/cheese… O M G. FANTASTIC and just a heads up, it’s a HUGE portion size! To sum it up… This place is fantastic and look forward to trying some other stuff on their menu :)

Wasn’t the best place I’ve been. Mediocre at best. I really wanted to like this place. Service was so slow. I also don’t like eating on a hill. You know what I mean if you’ve ever been there! I sat at the table and was expecting everything to slide off. Got a breakfast bowl. Nothing spectacular. It’s a cool concept, and tasted good-just didn’t live up to the expectations from the Unilocal reviews. Daughter got pancakes. Had to send them back because they were raw. Who undercooks pancakes? The server then told us to check the bottom one because«that one might be okay to eat»… Um, no! That famous sausage? I don’t get it-again, nothing spectacular. The best thing? Leaving!

Do not let looks deceive you. The curbside appeal does not match the food and service inside. The food came out fast, hot and delicious! The waitress was vet sweet and accommodating. My kids had no problems choosing their breakfast.

Playful décor, honestly friendly and welcoming service. Great menu choices. Breakfast bowls were fantastic. Coffee was strong and freshly made.

Probably one of the best breakfasts I’m had. Outside looks mom/pop, but the food is almost gourmet. I had the special — cinnamon French toast with cannoli filling and drunken cherry sauce. Awesome! Wife had a breakfast bowl. She loved it. Waitress was very friendly and genuinely warm. First time there, but felt like an old friend. A must stop!!! But watch for low beam ceiling — duck!!!

Totally looks like a dive bar outside. Give it a chance though because the food here is incredible. One of the best breakfast spots in New Hampshire. The inside is so cheerful and airy and our service was excellent. We went around 11 and were able to sit immediately because there were just two of us. Larger parties were waiting in front of us. The breakfast bowls were insane. The sunrise bowl had potatoes, eggs, assorted veggies, cheese, and I us then add some garlic. I got the raisin toast, which is from their homemade raisin bread. It was spectacular. My friend got a breakfast bowl with chorizo in it and he got the brown bread as toast. It was so good. Though not made in site, it is also local. Good coffee too.

Ok so for the price there is no way you can get a better deal than the breakfast bowls. If your reading this, this is your only warning — freaking massive. Wicked good. Its a small place but its a local joint. Even though we are Massholes we felt at home with the regulars.

Yumm! Found you thru Unilocal and so grateful I did! The food and service were great and if I’m ever in the area again, I will be back! The Carnie — home fries, green onion, scrambled egg, mushrooms, cheese and sausage was delicious and so filling. Hot coffee, fresh OJ, crispy bacon and crispy like French toast, so good! Pretty small joint so come off hours and be careful when pulling into the lot. People were driving crazy fast down the road so keep your eyes open!

The SERVICE was great!!! The food… well…it was ok. The onions were raw and over powered the dish. Plus, $ 9.00 for small dish/bowl…that’s a little pricey.

Oh my goodness, what a splendid breakfast we had! After a long weekend of shopping and candlepin bowling, we came here on our way out of town. I tried a breakfast bowl with potatoes, chorizo, ham, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cheddar, and two eggs over easy. WOW! The anadama toast that came with it was fresh and yummy, too. Our companions had mimosas(served in a pint glass, and your choice or orange/peach/pineapple/raspberry), omelettes with sriracha and sausage, and two other breakfast bowls. Everyone agreed that it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had out of town. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for 4 on a Sunday morning. I hope to come back and try their other specials. There were some sweet potato pancakes with sour cream and cranberries that are haunting my dreams.

The Sunrise Shack in Glen is a great location to get breakfast without the hassle of traveling into the heart of North Conway. The food is fresh and delicious, and there’s nothing better than a beer with your brunch. For my most recent visit, I had the Wicked bowl which has two eggs, chorizo and grilled mashed potatoes. It was amazing and super filling, and perfect with a pint of Allagash White Ale. I’ve also had the Huevos Rancheros bowl and their iced coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The décor is cute and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

The Unilocal reviews don’t lie, this place is the real deal. I’m so glad we finally got the opportunity to check it out. It’s much bigger inside and more modern than it looks from the outside. Service was fast and super friendly. After finding out it was our first time there, our waiter recommended trying a breakfast bowl, which is what they are apparently known for. It was a good suggestion. I got the Carnie bowl, which was griddled potatoes topped with scrambled egg, housemade sausage and cheese. I skipped the mushrooms. It was delicious, reasonable, and super filling. I highly recommend and will have to stop by here some time for lunch.
