Definitely a place for little kids and families. An overpriced eatery with mediocre food. It gets packed, so go as early as you can. I didn’t really care for my food, but it wasn’t gross either. They have a train theme and there’s a little train that drives around the rafters which kept my toddler busy for a while since the only crayons he got were 2 yellow ones and a blue stub of a crayon. I like the train, my son likes the train, they sell train conductor hats which we bought and he loves. Go for the atmosphere and to a place who won’t judge you for a toddler yelling, «train train train», not necessarily the food.

Best breakfast hands down! Great place to bring kids with the train that drives around the inside of the diner. Awesome specials. Large selection of breakfast and lunch options. Homemade food! Vanilla crème waffle was to die for! Home fries that were actually seasoned! 3 little pigs omlete was great, added grilled onions. We were there on a Thursday at noon. I’m sure weekend breakfast is busy! Good selection for kids menu and good prices. We will deffinitly be back when we travel to north conway. Wish we had a place like this back home!

Loved this place as a kid, still love it now. Food is reasonably priced and well portioned(left with a bunch for a snack later!) and the trains make it an awesome experience for any kids who love trains. Our waiter was extremely friendly as well.

I have only tried the breakfast and it is excellent! Each time I have went I enjoyed all of my food and the service was super friendly. However, last time I went with a party of 9, and we needed two cars to get to the resturant. So when the first car arrived they they told them that the other car was coming and the restaurant had a table ready for us. The second car took no more than 7 minutes to get to the restaurant because the roads were a little icy. However, when the next car arrived our table was already given away because the party took too long to arrive and they can only seat your party once everyone of your party is present. The next available tables were a table for 5 and for 4. So our group decided to split up and not sit with each other. The food was amazing but the seating arrangement put a damper on the experience.

Lots of crazy options. This is a family friendly breakfast joint. Got kids who like trains and cant sit still? Bring them here. I bet you parents actually eat your meal and finish a cup coffee for a change. Sandy our waitress is awesome. Friendly and attentive.

Great place for breakfast with an abundance of choices. Mexican omelet was delicious. It’s a great place for young kids as they have a train riding around the restaurant above you. The atmosphere is loud and crowded if you don’t mind that.

This place is SOCUTE. Definitely a good place to get any kind of food you want. Right when we walked in, we saw some locals that were regulars here — which already made me feel at home. We were sat down immediately and ordered. Food was out not too long later. While we waited, they have two toy trains that run around the top of the restaurant — hence the name«glen junction» I ordered the turkey club and it was so good. Perfectly mayo-ed with bacon, and the fries were so crispy. Definitely would come back especially since they have any option you want– from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner.

Very good diner type establishment with good sized portions, fresh ingredients, good prices and very friendly service. Recently had an awesome lobster roll and anything you order for breakfast is good. I like their onion rings especially.

Great family restaurant. Delicious pancakes. Good service, consistently excellent food, hearty portions and a must-stop for all of our family outings in the white mountains. A family tradition.

Went here for breakfast before heading to storyland. There was a few minute wait and they directed us to the room upstairs. There were lots of toys and games upstairs, which is great when you have little kids, as I do. It makes the waiting easier. My daughter loved the trains and they kept her attention during our meal. Food was quick and good. Highly recommend.

The trains inside were cute. Thy drive around the wall ledge at the top of the wall. But, there wasn’t as much as I expected from the other reviewers. It was mildly exciting for my 2 year old, but not a destination. The food was only ok… typical diner like. The service was fast. The pancakes were a little spongy. Decent coffee.

The Lobster Benedict was enough to earn Glen Junction 5 stars. The lobster, English muffin, eggs, potatoes, and hollandaise sauce were THE perfect combo. The service was great, the coffee was good. A must eat breakfast spot! $ 17.20 for the meal. Oh, and kiddos love the train that circles the restaurant.

This spot has become a regular stop on our way to Mt. Washington. Huge breakfast selection with specials all the time. Awesome thin and crispy pancakes! Today’s special is a ribeye steak and lobster meat eggs Benedict(not cardiologist approved) with home fries on an English muffin with hollandaise sauce — $ 19.99.

Probably the best breakfast in NH, possibly New England. Everyone is super friendly and the portions are huge and fresh. I can truly say that they have the best pancakes I have ever had. They are«plate sized» and you can tell they are made with fresh batter. Eggs, bacon, hash browns are all delicious and plentiful. Can’t speak much about the lunches but the menu looks great. Our family had a great start to our ski day here with some tasty food. Would highly recommend.

Choo choo! That’s the sound of the Average Train you’re hearing tear around the track that perches above diners at Glen Junction. This place is a greasy spoon that is within sight of Delicious Station, but hasn’t quite arrived. CLEARLY, they overbought the lobster this season. Lobster is advertised everywhere, and in every form: LOBSTEROMELET! on the front door; LOBSTERBENEDICT! on the wall in your booth; LOBSTERSALAD! LOBSTERSANDWICH! LOBSTERROLL! everywhere you look. Even if I had wanted the lobster, the product-pushing would have made me weary. How long has this said lobster been sitting in the freezer? Is it about to turn? Has it already? No thanks… Luckily for me, I did NOT have a hankering for lobster, and instead went with my tried-and-true onion-pepper-tomato-extra american omelet and a grilled bagel with cream cheese, and homefries(called train fries here). Omelet was okay: definitely no extra cheese, and it isn’t cooked into the egg, which I will eat but I don’t favor. Veggies were fresh so that’s a plus. Grilled bagel was borderline gross. Stale, SOAKED in oil/butter, and lukewarm. Yuck. Train fries were also wayyyy over-oiled potato squares, deep fried. Pass. Coffee was good, service was fine. Probably wouldn’t come back.

The Crispy cake Sunday is out of this world. I would recommend leaving the junction without having one. The service at the junction is always fast and friendly. I look forward to coming here every time I’m in the valley. Support this local establishment!

They have a bar option, as well as traditional booth and table seating which is nice because we sat quickly on a Sunday morning when it was quite busy. The service, as seems to be the standard in the white mountains area, was very good. The food was fast to arrive and it was incredibly good. I got the conductors meal, complete with pancakes, bacon, eggs and home fries. I was pleased with the portion and the home fries were delicious. The best I may have had yet. My girlfriend got eggs over easy, with bacon, home fries and a grilled english muffin. Her only complaint was that the entire meal wasn’t just home fries. It’s a cute little venue with a train that rides around on an elevated track and is adorned with children’s drawings, train memorabilia, and other things of that nature. Would definitely go again if I’m ever in the area again. Fantastic place.

We were starving and there was nothing else open(2:45PM) so we braved the only thing open and were glad we did. We felt bad walking in 15 minutes to closing, but the waitress was nice and served us, so they got an additional star for that. The food did the trick for my starving belly, french fries and a BLT. I wouldn’t say it was the best, but it was tasty, so for that with their great service, they get 4 stars.
