Came here as a secondary choice after an hour wait at another place. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait here so we went over to the bar and attempted to get some drinks. Was harder than I wanted since there were so many people, but eventually I found a corner that was free and in a twist of fate, the people sitting there were leaving! So we took away our dining room reservation and ate at the bar. If you do not want to be surrounded by a million zillion families and children, try to eat in the bar. Seriously… it was like we were at a Parent Teacher Night with all the groups wandering by the window. The wings were good, a little too spicy for me which means great for the husband. The drinks were quickly poured and brought. My only issue with the food was that one of my steak tips was literally raw. The bartender took care of it super quick and apologized appropriately. If you can eat later, you should try to come at 7:30/8. It was a lot nicer then since a lot of families were going home for bedtime. Front desk staff could have been more polite. They didn’t even say goodbye when we left. As a person in a majorly customer service focused job, I always greet/farewell people. The little things really matter.

Solid choice for dinner and brunch. Can get crowded during peak times but once seated you don’t feel it. Staff was warm and welcoming. The waiter Eric at dinner was a blast! Classics were done perfectly. Good menu choices.

A friend recommended that we visit for the breakfast buffet. THE best $ 8.99 you’ll spend for all you can eat breakfast any day. Omelette station, waffle station, pancakes, eggs, fruit & yogurt, home fries, beans, ham, sausage, bacon, the best corned beef hash you’ll ever have. Friendly staff, nice and clean. This place was great! Will keep going back.

I want to give this restaurant five stars SO badly, but I can’t bring myself to do it. The wait last night was 45 minutes, so my family and I decided to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. Yesterday I went skiing for the first time in 10 years and when I got to the bar I really wanted a glass of wine. Naturally, when I’m stressed out I just need a glass of wine(or 5). The bartender was so incredibly rude when I asked her what wines they had. My brother-in-law was shocked at the attitude I got. Yes, it’s a holiday weekend and it was very busy… she just really put a bad taste in my mouth. She could have just handed me a menu or given a recommendation? We did not actually wait 45 minutes, which was awesome. Dinner was great. Everyone loved their meals. The waitress was quick to bring us drinks and food. I had the bourbon steak tips that came with veggies and mashed potatoes. The steak was well seasoned with this sticky, sweet bourbon glaze. I finished EVERYTHING on my place. YUM! It’s a super family friendly restaurant and they really know how to cook meat here. I was happy with the Unilocal check in deal that led to a free dessert. The brownie dessert was delicious. I was upset that I decided to share. Oh well!

We came during the week so there was no wait. They sat us right next to the fireplace which was nice. The smell of burning wood while eating made it a homey environment. The Fox Steak Tips that are glazed with bourbon whiskey are a must!

We stopped here after visiting Jackson. It was a huge place ! Definitely order the pesto pizza that was delicious. However I would stick with the beer as the mixed drinks were too strong and didn’t taste great. Waitress was funny and it was a nice stop on our trip.

We had a reservation for 8(they give a 15 minute buffer), however the place is so big I don’t think it was necessary. Our waitress Shayna provided the best service we had in the N. Conway area. We both had drinks off the specialty menu, they were both great. We started with the parmesan spinach dip, which was one of the best dips we’ve ever had. It was creamy and baked perfectly with breadsticks for dipping that were fantastic. I got the filet mignon/lobster tail meal, which was more than enough. The filet was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly to my liking(med.rare) The lobster tail was a good size and tasted perfect. She got the lobster Mac and cheese which came with a ton of lobster and that too was cooked perfectly. With all the food given during the meal/app we had nothing left in the tank for dessert. This will be a must visit for us in the future.

The breakfast buffet was good, a lot of choices to choose from and it was pretty cheap. The food was fresh and there was always plenty of food at each station. It is only on Sunday’s so we usually go the last day of our vacation. I can’t wait to go back next year.

Great pizza and the chicken stir fry was tasty. Service was very good. Pizza was five stars, stir fry was 4. They don’t accept the Unilocal coupon for the free dessert. I think they should call Unilocal and have them take it down!

It was early and we were seated right away. The waiter was nice, but loud and wearing way way too much cologne. We started with the drink menu that only had beer, wine and whisky. Apparently the cocktails are only on a card at the side of the table. We both ordered beer(which neither of us would have ordered had we seen the cocktails) We each ordered a salad and the 4 cheese wood fired pizza. The salads were ridiculously big and they brought the pizza out before we were even close to done. The pizza was all garlic and no flavor, well I guess garlic is a flavor, but that was it. The highlight was an older lady in a fully dog covered coat and the beer.

I was up in the North Conway area and thought this looked like a good place to try with my mother. The food was not very good. Menu is pretty big although a bit pricey. Our waitress was nice enough but seemed to be working the entire section and not super concerned about us once it was obvious we weren’t going to order alcohol. I was surprised at how hard she was plugging the various drinks to each table. My mother got the steak tips. You had to add on your side for additional money which seemed weird to me. She thought they were pretty good and liked her salad. The bread they served us wasn’t even cut properly which I thought was poor attention to detail. I got the pot roast and it tasted a bit weird. It was overly fatty(even for pot roast) and I didn’t eat most of it. I’m glad I didn’t eat a lot of it as I woke up hours later that night and was pretty sick and it was definitely the pot roast. Ugh. Maybe an off night for them, who knows. I certainly won’t be returning or recommending.

Long wait times quite often, but the wait is worth it. Whenever I’m in the area, this is my favorite dinner place. Their ribs are the best in the northeast hands down, and I’ve been all over. The service is great as well. I’ve never had a problem with a waiter/waitress here. If you have to wait, wait. You won’t be dissappointed.

Worth the long wait times. Our waitress was delightful. She was so helpful with the menu, had a great personality, was attentive, and just overall nice. The menu had a million options, it was so hard to choose what to order. There is everything from $ 10 sandwiches to $ 30 full entrees. I opted for the wood fire steak tips. They did not disappoint at all. The Gouda mashed potatoes that came with the steak were also incredible. Everyone at my table ordered something different and everyone was extremely satisfied and full. I got two full meals out of my entrée the portion was so generous. 100% recommend.

My wife and I have been coming to N. Conway for over 30 years and never heard of this restaurant. We decided to drive out of town to eat for something different. We arrived there at about 5:30PM on a Thursday. Even though the parking lot looked full, we were seated right away. The waitress, Mikayla, was pleasant and good. I ordered the Bourbon Steak Tips which consisted of a marinated Steak with onions, peppers, and mushrooms, served over mashed potatoes. My wife had Penna Con Polo, which consisted of marinated chicken served in a sauce, with seasoned onions, spinach, and tomatoes, over pasta. Plain and simple, our food was fantastic and the service was great. We know where to go when we are in the area again. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Large menu, Great food, and Great service and not too pricy. What more can you ask for?

Great place for a family with young kids! Small toy room AND separate movie area(for the kiddies!). Had calamari for app, would probably skip next time. It was a sweet and sour prep and the peppers were not that hot. I had the lamb steak, cooked well rather than medium as ordered. Otherwise rest of meal was great! Our server was spot on and everything came out quickly. Would recommend this restaurant. Had a great menu, and they serve breakfast on Sundays!

We hosted a great post-wedding brunch here and everyone loved it. We had our own room and could just hang out and relax. The buffet is huge and the quality is high. The kids absolutely loved the French toast sticks and everything else was equally fun and yummy. Great dinner in the bar too. Wait staff is efficient and personable, even when the place is packed. The menu is big and we’ve never had a bad meal there.

Our last visit here was so awful we vowed never to go back. The next day was the fire that closed them down for a while. The reviews since the reopening have been mostly favorable so we thought that we would give it another go. The restaurant itself is mostly the same in appearance and layout. There is a new wall in the bar are that seriously cuts down on the bar seating. If you do not have kids, I can not stress enough that you should sit in the bar area, especially in the Summer after Storyland closing time. Picture tons of tired kids, all exhausted after a day at the park. It’s not a pretty picture. Consider yourself warned. We sat at a hightop in the bar and were quickly greeted and given menus. I had a manhattan and it was excellent. We started with the Asian potstickers and they were delicious. I highly recommend. I ordered the cajun chicken sandwich special, and subbed a salad for the fries. My husband had the salmon dinner. Thumbs up all around from us. We really enjoyed our meal here. Service was great. We are going to have to add Red Fox back into the rotation when we are in the area.

Red Fox Bar is a staple to Jackson. From the outside, it looks like a large barn, massive. Once inside, it its a mix of a Chiles, and Outback steakhouse, and your local neighborhood resturaunt. Many of the seating areas that we saw, and walked through, felt almost too modeled. It felt too«chain resturaunt like», even though I know its not. We were placed in a backroom, so it did have more of an intimate feel that I liked. They also have a great bar with the largest TV i have ever seen. The menu is impressive, with most of their items being wood fired… which is truly NH and unique. Our whole table went with different types of pizzas… they also have several gluten free options. My pizza was super good, I loved it! We got a bottle of wine, and ended the meal with a brownie sundae. which was literally to die for. Good food, low key atmosphere, and excellent service. It is a great option for family dining in Jackson!

This place is great. We were in the area during a time where there aren’t a lot of tourists. The restaurant was mostly empty. This place is huge. I don’t know how many tables they can seat but there are so many rooms. The one room we were in probably had 20 something tables in it. Our waitress was really good for most of our meal. I had the filet special topped with lobster scampi. This was amazing — there was tons of lobster on the top and the scampi sauce was so flavorful. My filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. G had the NY strip with shrimp — his steak came out raw — he didn’t realize it till he started cutting into it… they did make it right and brought him out a new one but we had to wait about 20 minutes which kind of ruined the good vibe of dinner. We started with the teriyaki glazed sirloin skins — I would drive the 3 hours just to come back for these! They are amazing! They have a wide range of items on their menu and lots of specials. It was more than what we would’ve paid back home but I always expect to pay more for things in tourist areas.
